Guys, my channel is about Russia. There are many interesting videos on my channel. I invite you to watch them👌 For example👇: About Moscow: ruclips.net/video/NlTE13DDSck/видео.html About Sochi: ruclips.net/video/4Bp67PMAqEI/видео.html American lives in Krasnodar: ruclips.net/video/wVXXOWpKkZE/видео.html An Englishman about his vacation in Sochi: ruclips.net/video/MgoUoR8eVjs/видео.html Canadian about his live in Moscow: ruclips.net/video/Pcf3OrVX6Mo/видео.html and so on...
Wow, what a beautiful city. The parks are beautiful and very family oriented. First time I see this city in video. I first heard of Krasnodar because of Anna Netrebko, the famous Russian soprano. She is from Krasnodar and one of the greatest sopranos in the world. The part in your video with the Africans singing in Russian was amazing; living in New York I've never seen anything like it. Very nice. All the visitors in the video said it was a very safe city and this is very important these days because many big cities like where I live are not very safe now. I have to be careful. So it's very good that Krasnodar is safe for everyone.
Hello, thank you very much for such a nice comment! I am very pleased that I introduced you to a new city for you. And I am very pleased that you know Anna Netrebko)) Welcome to Russia! By the way, where are you from?
@@HospitableRussia Thanks for asking. I was born here in the USA, but my parents came from Cuba. My father was a classical music composer and my mom was a soprano. I grew up in a musical home. Back in 1960 or 61, before I was born, my parents studied at the Moscow Conservatory by invitation. My dad was already a young, professional composer and my mom also sang but in Moscow they improved their skills. My dad took master classes with Aram Khachaturian and my mom with a female Russian teacher who liked her voice. It was a chance of a lifetime for 2 young professionals who were starting their careers. They lived in the Ucraina Hotel which had been recently built back then. My mom had a hard time adapting to cold weather. They came in January in the middle of a big snow storm my mom says; it was her first snow experience! They told me many stories about their experience in Moscow back in 1960. It was all very different back then. Whenever I see pictures of the Ucraina Hotel I immediately remember my parents. They're no longer with me, but these memories are very special to me.
I do not know your name, but this is a very touching story... I am very sorry to hear that your parents are no longer with you.., believe me, they would not have recognized Moscow now. Thank you for sharing the history of your parents. And of course Welcome to Moscow and Russia!
@@HospitableRussia Thank you so much! My name is John. Is that Ivan in Russian? Yes, back in 1960 the Russians were still recovering from the devastation of WWII. Life was still very hard for the Russians, but despite this my parents found them to be very warm and kind people who would help you. I hope it's still the same!
I spent my 5 years living and studying in KUBGU i mean in Krasnodar. My wife is from Krasnodar as well. we usually went there every summer, but due to covid we had to hold it for now. Currently we are living in bali. but still after watching this video I kinda miss walking on krasnaya. or sitting my the river side at by "olymp" while getting some nice wine from nearby tabris.. Thank you for the video. I wish you all the best !

Despite all that’s happened in the past year and a half I still find Russian cities quite interesting. Especially Magnitogorsk which looks insanely American for a Russian city.
At the time you recorded that video Krasnodar had already passed a 1 million population mark a year before (it was officially announced some time in 2019. As for old districts, I am so happy that they are still preserved. Otherwise the city of my youth would not be the same.
