Little barefoot girl in a white dress just kickin' ass! In my mind, this particular performance marks a hinge point in the trajectory of her career. Prior to this, she was very comfortable in front of live audiences, but seemed a touch out of place on live TV. Not bad, but just not quite sure how to address the camera. When she turns to follow that flying closeup, she is saying "I know I belong here, and nobody better get in the way."
If you look at the end of the video, Angelina SPANKED that song!
My guess is the couple of songs she did with Alan Walker. You’ll like those!
So many good ones, it is hard to guess, but if she wants to show her variety in voice it could be Back to Black (A.J. rewote the words) or the Alan Walker homecoming that is a very different style "Sing me To Sleep" and "Faded", or another couple of good ones are Summertime or Everytime We Say Goodbye. All of them are amazing.

Love your reactions, Alex. I made a similar comment on your last video, but I think it is lost somewhere in the ether. So..., at some point in your AJ journey you really should view two interviews by Alan Papier, on his YT channel. One is with Egil Claussen, her Oslo guitarist from age 7-12 and the other one is with Ivan Mendez, her LA guitarist at 12. She used their sessions as practice and did many cover songs with them, eventually putting them on YT. You will hear that the sessions were never preplanned. They would meet, hang out with family and then discuss songs that one or the other suggested. Angie would decide on a song and the guitarist would go over the chords, et. while she studied and downloaded the lyrics. In most of these videos you see her reading the lyrics as she gives a powerful and emotional performance. A few minutes later they would turn on the camera and film the first take, rarely a second take was needed. Angie would tell him where she wanted to slow down or speed up and to follow her rhythm and timing. The interviews contain a few short clips of some of their sessions - singing and sometimes joking around. These two interviews are a must for any serious AJ fan. that I can only call 'The Platinum Standard', for I've never heard anyone sing
it as exceptionally as she does, and let us not forget that the arrangement of
instruments to be used at specific points in the song are also of her doing.
The #1 orchestra in Norway, called KORK, who she has worked with since the
age of 9, acknowledges this by their referring to her as simply 'The Boss'.

This is one of my favorites from Angelina. Especially at 10 years old. The horn section of this band, I believe is their first time working with Angelina. However the next year when she is 11 they do several concerts featuring her as soloist. You'll get to them as you progress through her catalog, but there are still more when she is 10. Keep up the good work, we're here for you.

Great reaction to this superb, mindblowing performance! This performance by Angelina is in the TOP 3 of the TOP 10 of my TOP 180 FAVORITES of hers! Her range, her power, and that phenomenal finale with supernova breath control (at 10!!) are absolutely unexplainable! Then suddenly, she disarms you and melts your heart as she immediately goes back to being a cute, shy little 10 year old girl with an adorable, appreciative little curtsy to the crowd and a sly little smile/giggle to her brass band!

Sorry to Michael Buble - and even to the outstanding Nina Simone, who first made this song popular in the 1960's - but Angelina's performance has the edge.
Alex , I have watched all your reactions to Angelina. You have truly become an ANGEL. Your facial expressions say it all.
At age 10, Angelina has fully entered her domain. She knows who she is and what her voice can do. The traces of child voice have gone, and from now on we are dealing with a fully mature and confident artist - not merely a singer - who nevertheless is improving and will improve her artistry. Who knows where she will be in five years' time, let alone 10, by which time a female singer's voice has normally reached its peak? This version of Feeling Good is so smooth and competent, yet harbours so many beautiful details, one almost fails to register how brilliant it is. At age 10. Oh, and the band is pretty hot, too!

The first song I heard about five years ago was Gloomy Sunday. I was blown away, of course. But since then, she continues to surprise and amaze me on just about every song I’ve heard from her. I’ve never reacted to any other singer that way. Like today’s song, she decides on her own arrangement, kills the actual performance, but honors the essence of this classic song.
Listen to the vocal fry, the range, the grit, the belting, the absolutely perfect timing-all done with quiet, but obvious, confidence. A ten year old giving a performance that rises up over all those horns and strings. She is once in a lifetime.
This angel's genius is expressed in many performances, but in this one in particular, all of her skills shine through!

Alex, I enjoyed watching your reactions to Angelina in the early years; my favorite time went she was developing her Jazz style and doing music her way. I had just rung the "Subscribed Bell" and asked if you could return to Angelina's first time in a recording studio when she was 6 years old! Her Grandmom, Mery, who influenced Angelina when she was a Baby, introduced her to Jazz music. Angelina recorded "I Who Have Nothing" in English. Her native language is Norwegian, and she had trouble reading some English words she had learned in school! She was 6 yrs old; I didn't know how to tie my shoes at 6 or speak in English; my first is Spanish.

You're not the only reactor to rewind to the final crescendo multiple times. The whole performance is great, on par with famous gigs of the past, but this finale is unique - a great upgrade not found on the critically acclaimed Nina Simone version, nor on Michael Buble.
But aside from the ending - everything about it is perfect: not only did the band do a great job, they synchronized seamlessly with Angelina's beautiful vocals, the lighting is top notch (remember that pulsating aura at the beginning), as is the camera work (remember the 360 degree tracking shot around her, along with the "hey" she said to us with her eyes). I just wish we could have seen more of the audience - that's the benefit of the Allsang pa grensen version a few months earlier (and I have to admit I like the finale there a bit better).
If you've seen Nina Simone's official music video for this song, remember the occasion Angelina performed here - it's not just a stage performance, it's a charity event benefitting a Norwegian Charity supporting children. It is called "The Stream gir tilbake (= gives back)" because finalists from The Stream vocal contest performed there, along with established artists like Angelina. The event took place on Friday 30 December 2016 and has been broadcast live on TV 2 Norway from the event hall at Chateau Neuf Oslo (1,400 seats).

Thank you for another excellent reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction.
There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed.
(1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice.
(2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move.
(3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus.
(4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance.
(5) That wonderful crescendo at the end.
(6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance
(7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand.
(8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 4.40 in your reaction video.
(9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!"
(10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause.
Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different
