3:03 The provinces written on jeepney signages that each member had is their hometown. Each of them came from different provinces and represent their own ethnic origins. Also, one of their advocacies as a group is to help regional languages be appreciated and be in mainstream pinoy music. So yeah, not only they're multicultural but also multilingual group. Another thing, when kbye MV was dropped their age range was 19-23 and now they're 21-25. The one you're probably thinking as the youngest is actually the oldest, he's 25 right now. 😂 Thank you for supporting Alamat. 🤎
7:25 Tagalog is a language, as well as the other 180+ languages spoken across the Philippines. They are not dialects since they're not mutually intelligible.
i suggest you turn on the subtittles because Alamat incorporates other languages in their songs like Bisaya, Bikol, Kapangpangan, waray and others. Thank you for the rv. This group is my favorite. I like their sound and music. More RnB. All their songs have great hooks.
@@saiyongdawn7756 Yes he does.😍 We love his song "Kanako" in Bisaya.💙 We did a RV for that too.☺️⬇️ ruclips.net/video/TJwbBwVHNGo/видео.htmlsi=EMX78Lzu3q1dtclx
Late to respond, but happy to find ypur RV! Fun fact the boys wrote the song. It was not supposed to be their debut song, but when their mgt heard it, they decided to release it as their debut single. They were singing in their local language ^_^
As you may know now theres only six current members to Alamat. Two are solo artists now. Btw, you guys didn't get the significance of the coconuts attached to Thomas at 5:06. At least I heard there was a meaning to it. 😁
@@TheFil-AmCam I don't know much about filipino symbolism but the viewers spoke about the coconut meaning to the mv. If I research it and find out I'll be sure to let you know. 🙂
Thanks for your reaction! Alamat often uses regional languages in their songs. Each member is fluent in their own regional language. Note: languages, and not dialects. Bit of a correction: the writing system you were referring to is called Baybayin, and not Alibata. Baybayin is but one of many pre-colonial writing systems in the Philippines. Hope you continue in your journey and eventually enter Brgy. Magiliw🤎

We appreciate their advocacy to have regional languages in mainstream OPM.. and hopefully be known around the world too.☺️👏🏼🤍🇵🇭
More ALAMAT reaction. ABKD, Maharani and Day and Night
We did Maharani and enjoyed it.☺️ Thanks for the recommendation!💙
Let’s go Alamat!

2:04 Baybayin 😊
Thank you ☺️💙
The eldest, Tomas (has a high voice) is 25 years old. He was the first guy who started the song.
They look young 😄

We watched it again with subtitles and learned to turn on cc for the next ones we watched.😄👍🏼

That's cool!😃💙
One of Alamat’s member who left the group is going solo now using his name, Valfer.
I see. Hope he's doing well in his solo career. ☺️👍🏼
Valfer 'Stimuli' is out now. Great song. 🤩

The part where they did the coconut dance? Do share, what's the meaning?😃

@@saiyongdawn7756 oh I thought you already know. Let me research too and share here with you when I find out.😁👍🏼
I consider them (Alamat) part of the Trinity of Male PPOP group of the 🇵🇭 with BGYO and of course SB19. 😊❤
Oh we've never listened to BGYO yet!😀
THE EXPERIENCE IN ILOILO KAGABI IS THE BEST ENERGY IS ON FIRE WALA NA AKONG BOSES KAKASIGAW AT KAKA KANTA😂❤😍
Wow that sounds fun!😀😍🇵🇭
Alibata is misconception and archaic term for baybayin. It’s now called Baybayin.
Thank you for that information, it's good that we continue to learn more about PH.☺️🇵🇭
💖
☺️🤍
I think Alamat and BGYO are the next boy groups that have a growing following after SB19. Although VXON and PHP are no joke too.
There really are many talented artists in PH ☺️🇵🇭
Thanks for your reaction!
