Agreed. Don’t know why people aren’t bringing this up as a talking point. Everyone’s talking about “buy this now” “this set is a hidden gem” “act now” there are people in this hobby that only come back when there is money to be made. These are telltale signs to them. If this wasn’t acknowledged as a problem it wouldn’t have turned into one. I mean even the weakest SV sets and battle styles are moving the FOMO that’s been created has been doing crazy damage.

Why do people even buy from rip and shippers, I don't get it.
1. Ruins the fun of pulling yourself
2. You're buying for above MSRP also, so not like you're getting a fat discount
3. Risk of getting scammed, mailing issues, dmg, etc.
Yeah I agree I never understood the concept either. Pay money to give someone the pleasure of oppening your packs? That always seems weird to me.

I want them to publicly come out and say they are doing too much. Take a 6 month break and do reprints of the whole era. Hopefully enough were people are running out of funds before they can buy everything. Then we’ll start to see movement that favors the average collector. They haven’t had to print this much because there wasn’t money to be made with Paradox rift, Paldean fates temporal or even twilight or stellar when they first dropped. Apparently they sat on pellets because nobody wanted them but in this market we all helped to create anything and everything can move like crazy overnight.
Scalping a couple boxes to basically open some free is a legit strategy, it’s smart
