I got my case and 4 loose boxes for $68 USD a box so ima hope on another case if I can get a better deal next print run for sure

@@dariolatincic5320 nice amount to have. If they go below that I would definitely get another case just one more. But depending how far they drop if they drop below or around 50-60 a box I will pick up and 3 cases

How much surging sparks have you ordered? I’ve got 2 cases @110USD per box

@@dariolatincic5320 that’s a good amount hope they don’t cancel the order on you. I got 3 cases of BB @ 105 a box and 2 and a half cases for PC ETB. I might order another case of PC ETB but we shall see. Hope my BB don’t get canceled I have heard it happening to people which really sucks.

@@Gottamitchemall the product will eventually no longer be in print and at that time prices will spike! I have opened 10 poster collection full displays from my searches at Dollar General at discount, 25% off. I have 2 full displays in storage. What have I pulled? Multiples of the big 3, all the SIR’s and most of the IR And Ultra rare. Finally pulled the Gold Mew to complete the Gold SR group. So much fun! Now to hope for some Gems.

Ysss you got a point. I do feel like those boxes will be sold out extremely fast. Also they will probably end up at a certain big box store I think Costco or Sam’s club honestly. I don’t see them being to much available.

Very good point. The reason I think this set is so hyped it has some big Pokémon like(Pikachu, Latias , Latios , Milotic just to name a few.) will be interesting to see how the set does long term I think it will do well so will be nice to see.

@@Gottamitchemall I will usually give the set a bit of time to see how the market is taking it . I find patience saves me from buying cases of every set. Like today if I were to buy a more recent case I’d pick twilight masquerade over most even with the cost above retail. Buying every set will leave you with cases like obsidian flames. Maybe nice to have one booster box of if you collect every set but when we talk about cases.

@@Gottamitchemall definitely. I prefer only cases for Japanese 151 though . More security knowing the boxes weren’t tampered with

@@MahBahlZitch-ks6bn exactly same with me I got three and holding on to them. Only bad thing with Japanese to is stuff like that maybe tampering and stuff sealed cases definitely easier to sell later down the road!

I work a lot lol and save as much as I can. I don’t spend money on other things really. Only thing I would suggest I mean I got two jobs so I kinda got a little amount of disposable income so I can try invest as much as I can.

@@Gottamitchemall I think my bills are just too high I make a six-figure income but when rent is $2,500 a month there goes a lot of that I'm just assuming that if I stick to at least a case a month in 5 years I will have 360 booster boxes ranging from 150 to 400.00 at that point I would have 72,000 net worth now I can start selling and reinvesting to get a larger position in Pokemon it just seems like it's going to take at least 5 years

@@OBIWANKENOBI88 wow With that income you should definitely be able to buy a lot more. Need to get those expenses down as much as possible honestly. Trust me it’s definitely worth it to spend less and invest all the money you don’t spend. From 18-23-24 I saved all my money I made didn’t go out at all didn’t spend on anything crazy barely went out on weekends . Trust me it was rough but the best decision I made. Definitely worth it once you get through it. You can do it it’s rough but you can do it. Like you said after you build up good investment and some cash life gets a lot easier.

Very good point only set I bought heavily into was 151 and probably will be the only one. I like to dabble a little but it is a area where you can easily get burned

This is a very good point. I think the under $100 booster boxes are definitely over. That is why I have been pre ordering cases the prices when they come out have just been going up so best to get some early at a good and stable price.

@@Gottamitchemall forgot to mention it highly depends on the set whether pre ordering is a good idea (scarlet violet base set and other weaker sets are a prime example)

They has been a reprint already honestly all of the product that has been showing up at different stores. I think there is so much demand if they do have another reprint it has to be a decent sized one to cool the market because it will all just get bought right back up again.

Well I mean they are the ones that list those prices. They don’t have to sell them at that price. A lot of LGS are strapped for cash and have to sell as soon as they get it in or they will be very short for the month. I mean I like supporting LGS but I honestly have never bought a Pokémon booster boxes from one of my local ones they sell them for $130 when I can get it online for cheaper and it is the same thing. I mean I don’t have unlimited amount of money to spend. Hard truth but they still stay in business so someone buys from them so we are all happy 😄

Lgs do just fine, mine is busy everytime I go. They make most money on single packs and giving 60% value on trade ins

@@robertromero8094 exactly how they do it they don’t make much off of sealed products. They make the majority of the money on the single cards honestly.!

By February there will be no other 151 products in stores to focus on so his collection box will be an immediate sell out and I feel it will not make a dent in the resale market value of any 151 products or singles. This collection box most likely will be selling for over retail right away.

You got a good point. They kinda did reprint them but they were in Costco. They sold out very fast for $90

Yes that is the one product you shouldn’t have 😅I got 13-14 but I got all mine last year during the holidays when they were going for $75-$85

@@Gottamitchemall When Sword & Shield singles were going up I had 3 orders canceled on Alt Arts I purchased cause they were rising so fast sellers wanted to get those gains. This time on 151 singles I have ordered as they were starting to go up an no sellers canceled which is shocking.

Surging sparks has a good bit of demand if boxes are selling for $125 before release kinda crazy. PC ETBs are definitely a safe bet some PC ETBs are going crazy like obsidian flames and 151

I mean i got my boxes for $599 plus taxes like $625 that is how much i have bought all my booster box cases of every set that I have bought so far. But I have not received them so they might get canceled we shall see how that part goes
