    That's a lot of time invested in that 8 min. video. Normally you get to know what you already know in a video that's twice the length and that's a reason why I love this channel so much.
    These are just awesome RTRs for the money as is, feels like the potential has already been reached with the hardware you get and that's perfect for most people. Thanks again!

      Yeah it was. I could make the video twice as long too but I really don't want to waste anybody's time. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching :-)

    I mostly crawl with custom SCX24s. FMS was at CSRTE last week with the K5 Chevy, bought the orange one for myself and the brown & yellow version for a friend. Very impressed with the oob performance, definitely slightly better electronics than the scx24. Very excited to turn mine into a mud bogging beast!

      Yeah it was pretty impressed with the quality of these. Definitely better than I was expecting

    The little trucks look awesome but my old eyes & hands don't like the tiny screws. If I was to pick one I would go with the LC even though I think the blazer body looks better. Great video thanks

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah the small screws can be annoying though most of these are big enough that it's not too bad.

    there is a bag with o rings in the box that you can put in the springs and then fill them with oil

      Ah cool! Though to be honest with you it actually handled pretty well off-road.

    Hey my friend I notice something on the V2 EXB that I didn't see it,why I don't know 😅, no wheelie bar? Can u make a video on which one we can use whit the new wing mount,thanks in advance and God bless u 🙏

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  9 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not currently aware of any that work without modification I will say though that the wing pretty much acts as a wheelie bar so I'm not sure how much more benefit you get from having one.

    I have sell my K5 Blazer but I already have the fcx18 lc80. The fcx18 are better because of the longer wheel base and the oil shock. I have install a 3D print transmission adaptor for installing a scx24 one speed transmission from Furitek they call stellar transmission and come with brushless motor 3456kv. Now I'm waiting for the fms k10 cheyenne 1/18 it the same chassis than the lc80 but longer wheel base. :)

      That sounds like fun. I definitely want to put brushless in one of these too

    Nice video but you call the blazer a Bronco in the title, and in your outro.

      Good catch! Fixed in the title :-)

    Def cool little trucks, but FMS really needs to rethink pricing. That Blazer is $150, that Yoto is $180. That's Traxxas money.

      And better than that garbage trx4m in every way

    • @DoRC
      @DoRC  9 месяцев назад +1

      They are expensive but I was actually pretty surprised with the quality of them. They don't feel cheap at all. You know how cheap plastic just has that cheap plastic feel to it. These are not that.

      I have a TRX4M Bronco that I modded pretty heavily. I've ordered the FMS FCX18 LC80 and anticipate this being much better. Scale looks are better with more details like defroster lines, opening hood, and that gorgeous painted body. Has included lights for lightbar, headlights, highbeams, turns signals/hazards, brake and reverse. Traxxas has an expensive light kit you would have to buy and still have less lights and less control of the lights. FMS can be controlled from the remote. The FMS seems to have portals with proven reliability. The TRX4Ms have pitiful break over. The FMS has bearings, the Traxxas has inferior bushings. FMS has a a 2 speed trans with very good gearing it seems. The Traxxas comes with a mid speed gearing, which sucks at crawling. Put the crawling gears and then it's pitifully slow for everything else. The FMS comes with 900 MAH and the Traxxas comes with 750 MAH but you also stuck with their proprietary connectors. The FMS seems to have a better steering servo as well. Also seems like the ESC has better modulation from what I've seen. Also the FMS has metal links.
      I will say the Traxxas has a better body mounting system. I also think nit has a very good turning radius. But overall the FMS looks to be a waaay better value and just all around better. Competition is good for us!
      I've yet to torture the FMS but mine and my friends Traxxas TRX4Ms have broken multiple differential gears (broken off teeth) and multiple servos (stripping gears). Also one broken motor. I've also heard of the driveshaft pins falling out from youtube reviews.

      @@DoRC Haha yes, my best friend just got his FMS FCX24 K5. I got the FMS FC18 LC80 coming on Mar 4th. Saw your video for a great comparison!
