Now contracted out to FTX logistics under the KBR banner, using Oshkosh prime movers and 7 axle King trailers. All the Scammell Commanders were sold under agreement to the Royal Jordanian Army complete with spares package. I saw them parked up in one of their compounds whilst i was out in Jordan on PDT to Herrick.
Hey did you serve on Telic 2 with 19 sqn? I was attached to 27 regt when the bulk of 3CS regt was sent home but 32 squadron stayed out. I was in 32 fitters at the time.
@@bigarmydave Usually they can run B doubles around city, they run b double milk tankers around the hills where i live. Then they hook up a couple more out of town, Im sure you have seen them on YT. Kenworths are very popular here, there is an assembly plant in Melbourne, euro trucks less popular, but smaller jobs mostly Scania/volvo, mercs. Road trains usually around 600bhp now. Australian army has M.A.N. prime movers i think. No British trucks here now, all gone to collectors.
