For moving a heavy load, in the 70s and 80s you’d struggle to beat a Scammell - anybody know who owns the rights to the name these days?
I’m thinking if they could be brought back to production they would probably out pull a Volvo or MAN

Just goes to show advances in technology (maybe not for the best)
26 litre v12 T T and “only” 625 Hp.
Nowadays 625 and more is easily available from a straight 6
Eg Volvo with a 750
