The Taliban's War with Islamic State in Afghanistan

  • The fall of Kabul to the Taliban saw Afghanistan stripped of democracy. On top of this political upheaval, just 11 days after the Taliban took Afghanistan's capital, Islamic State launched the first of several attacks in the country. These attacks have killed hundreds of civilians, and shattered any hope of a lasting peace or stability in Afghanistan. Now, the Taliban is waging their own War on Terror in the Eastern province of Nangarhar - the birthplace of the Afghan branch of the Islamic State. Here, the violence rarely grabs international headlines, but confrontations between the Taliban security forces and the Islamic State are a nearly daily occurrence.

One year ago, Kabul fell to the Taliban. Just 11 days later, Islamic State launched the first of several fatal attacks in the country, shattering hope of lasting stability or peace in Afghanistan. The Taliban have issued a stark official warning to both members of Islamic State, and those associated with its members: 'If someone was convicted of a relation with Islamic State ... if he was a common civilian, or a decent man, even if he'd done it because of poverty ... they will all be counted as IS, and there is no mercy for them'. It's been alleged that members of Daesh, if caught, are executed, but this is denied by a Taliban representative: 'That is 100% false'. Amnesty has been offered to former IS members promising to cut ties with the group - but with a harsh proviso: 'anyone who breaks this oath will be exiled, and his house will be burned', states a Taliban security official.

Mandate of Heaven: To be Counted Righteous always meant to reject Evil absolutely never allowed to justify evil crime lawlessness in heart thus when being made aware of Law thus taking God at his word (God's word made flesh: Jesus Christ replacement of First Man & the Lord of Heaven in the Flesh the literal Body of God) hence obedience and sacrifice the test of the heart (In full legal agreement with/Listening to God). The Heart is what has always been judged (pure) as good or evil. (Once learned made aware of Law, All People held to account judged by Law known/Israel.) El-Elyon (Most High), Ahura Mazda "Wise Lord" (Persia) Zoroastrianism, Egyptian Book of the Dead, Ancient China Temple of Heaven (Shang-Di), (Egypt) Ancient of Days, all cultures prove the only first religion and priesthood of humanity the Melchizedek Priesthood Jesus Christ (completed) fulfilled forever as the living High Priest (Promised Virgin Birth Covenant: Christianity is the fulfilled Melchizedek Priesthood through Jesus Christ the only promised savior redeemer who fulfilled the law and prophets and his Church is the only Functioning prophetic Holy Spirit Lead Priesthood of the 12 Tribes of Israel). Children, Free Will, & The Tower of Babel cultural language divide delays Jesus Christ's reign as when he claims throne he is immediately responsible for judging all both living and dead. All ancients knew of the promised resurrection of the Dead (Reincarnation), virgin birth, and Judgement Day of the Righteous and Wicked souls; To be perfect is to be complete according to set standard, mathematical law of absolutes good vs evil. The true opposite of love is unholy selfishness, the epitome of pride is self-righteousness (unmerited value/unlawfully agreed). People confuse pride with its righteous opposite which is Glory/Honor all ancients sought. Good is that of Truth/Holy Lawful Order, & Justice. Evil is that of Lies, unlawful disorder, chaos. Jesus Christ is the Law and the Test of Faith & Heart concerning righteousness and ritual purity that which is Holy; whereby Jesus Christ the word of God in the flesh is the standard of measure how a person is judged as good or evil based on their choice to receive God's payment blood covering sacrifice through Jesus Christ's Perfect Lawful Life. Israel is the church body of Christ Family of God; all people of any nation of the world that choose Righteousness, Honor, & Glory are citizens of Israel the Most High Lord of Heaven's Kingdom. Peace = Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God born from a virgin with no corruption from Adam's Seed. Islam is Satans Counterfeit of The 12 Tribes of Israel. Most people in world (All Ethnicities) including Arabs that identify as muslims are actually Israelites by Blood (All saved by Blood of Messiah Jesus Christ counted as Israelites co-heirs by Blood of Jesus Christ). #Zoroastrianism proves virgin birth (3 Wise Men Kings from East). Since they rule Afghanistan and Afghanistan's only real potential relevant ally in a major crisis is India, it was kind of inevitable.
Afghanistan's only hook to get great power support is using India's insanely pro-unity culture to try and get help in exchange for hopes of unity or more political/trade unity with India since it considers Afghanistan part of greater India.
And the Taliban really could do with at least diplomatic support against diplomatic hostility.
That is why the Taliban recently defended some Sikhs, partially to stay in India's good books.

They have many faults and they are quick to spill muslim blood and that is among the most terrible deeds but in other matters, - and Im not minimising their misdeeds. They are criminals - but holistically speaking if we ignore their quickness to attack other muslims then their Islam is closer to that of the beloved Rasul Allah PBUH than the Taliban, and I will mention some of the issues of law and creed that make me say this.
      1.) Offensive war.
Allah said: “Fight those who fight you”(2/190)
Allah said: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah…(9/29)
The Taliban appear to have abandoned this command which is repeated and performed so many times in the Qur’an and by our Rasul Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم . But they, the ones who are criticised as khawarij never abandoned this Obligation and Sunnah. They waged war against the kfr by the tongue and the sword and showed no sign of stopping until they were finally defeated. For this I pray Allah rewards them, but of course this doesn’t absolve them of the unjust slaughter they committed either.
      2.) The attributes of Allah.
Nowadays this is considered a “minor, nuanced issue of creed” but In reality if yiu have creedal differences with other muslims then its possible to say you both are following different religions. To have different ideas about Allah is the same as worshipping different gods and what the taliban have done jn this regard is probably enough to make them all apostates. They denied the existence of Allah’s
“Face, Hands, shin and feet” saying that the mention of these is all metaphorical. But they, the ones we all despised said they affirm their faith in Allah and believe in his face, hands and shin and Feet as his attributes without interpreting them in human terms and this is the correct view because
1.) Allah said the Qur’an is clear.
How can numerous mentions of Allah’s attributes all be metaphors with no indication given by Allah? The fact this an ongoing dispute for a thousand years is proof enough that there is no way to prove these are metaphors.
2.) Qur’an and the prophet were received by many pagan idols worshippers.
The meccan Idol worshippers would have spent their whole lives anthropomorphising their own gods into idol statues, and then Islam arrives and mentions the “Foot, hand and Face” of Allah without clarifying its meaning and none of them or the companions of the prophet were ever reported to have asked about their meaning.
Think about that for a minute and let that sink in.

It was mind boggling stuff and the US knew at that point, after 20 long bloody years of death, and trillions of tax payers dollars, that the Taliban were actually not all that bad and a part of the Afghan fabric of society. ISIS Khorasan is a group composed of people following two particular sects. The Salafis and the Mamatis (also a sect in Pashtun region) while 99 percent of the Afghan population is Deobandi (hanafis). There's no way ISIS Khorasan can flourish in this region. In nangarhar when they controlled several towns in their early days in 2015; they imposed their own jurisprudence over a largely Hanafi population. It became clear that this group won't find a place. They're mostly driven by secterian hatred for the Hanafis; after their group was routed by Taliban; the small decentralized cells became operational. Some of them are in league with Pakistan, others with NRF. Pakistan is using them to counter Taliban support for the TTP. But these cells are weak; that's why they only target the civilians; especially the Hazaras. If taliban comes up with good intelligensia; get some sort of cyber tech then their brave commandos can do wonders and it would be the end of these cells.
On the end note: All ISIS Khorasan members are Salafis but not All Salafis are ISIS-K.

Daesh targets civilians in Mosques (including both Sunni and Shia) because Daesh are non-Muslims working for the CIA trying to disrupt Afghanistan's peace. Daesh is the armed wing of the U.S. military-industrial complex and are attempting to sabotage Afghanistan's recovery (alongside America's economic sanctions against Afghanistan). The U.S. had coveted Afghanistan's resources for itself. The origin of Daesh is in Iraq, as AQI, which was founded by a well-known criminal and murderer, Al-Zarqawi, who instigated a civil war on behalf of the U.S. The U.S. then transplanted part of this operation to Afghanistan during the U.S. military occupation there.
