    I think WVU can have a 10+ win season this year, excited to watch it unfold.

      Holy smokes!! I'd love to see it, but I guess I'm in the 'Wait and see' category.
      But it would be FANTASTIC!!

      I used to think like you but reality set in . I think a 6 win season and toilet bowl in December is the new norm . Who wants to play big 12 football from Morgantown . If they would have joined the SEC or ACC they would have stayed a national power .

      Im saying like 8 maybe 9 win season.. offense takes a big step forward & defense a step back especially in the secondary

      West Virginia lost a lot of substantial players to the portal so I see the dramatic improvement with JT Daniels giving them the potential to win up to eight games this year.

      6 or 7 wins if we’re lucky. New coach and athletic director needed!

    As a Mountaineer fan, I will say that you guys deliver some great content... I sincerely enjoy watching and listening!
    BTW... Caridi, Drenning, and the WVU media bunch... TOP, top level. Having to listen to talking heads and game broadcasts in ACC country is audibly obtuse.

    Lets Go Mountaineers! Were going to surprise some people this year in both football and basketball.

    • @nazmoking3171
      @nazmoking3171 2 года назад

      Yes but I hope the surprise in basketball is a good one and not a bad one. We basically lost the entire team mostly to the portal and so the new players didn’t quite replace the points that were lost with the prior players.

      I think wvu basketball will be a bubble team which is improvement from last year. Defense and rebounding should improve

    JT won H.S. National Championship as a junior. His senior year he was starting qb at USC graduating early from high school. He won the job because the staff said he battled them in the film room and meetings on knowledge and strategy. He's a coach on the field. He has a plus arm and is extremely accurate. Georgia wins a national championship yet most of the year the fans were pissed that JT was being held out. Half the base wanted him to start the National Championship game despite pretty good play by Stetson Bennett.

    The guy that speaks on the left(forgot his name), you need to turn his mic down. Everyday, when he speaks in his mic its 1000% higher then the other two guys. Not sure if its a setting, how he speaks into the mic, or his voice, but absolutely need to turn down his volume a little to more closely align it with the other two hosts.
    Love your show guys, keep up the great work!

    I just hope we don’t lose NICHO I believe he is the truth and hope he doesn’t get annoyed and takes time to learn from JT because when it’s his time I 100% believe he will BALL!

    My concern is that NIL will result in recruits picking schools solely based on how much money they can get.

    Nice review overall! Neal bought himself some time with the Graham Harrell hire. First strong move I’ve seen him make. If the team makes a dramatic improvement as a result I hope WVU will consider hiring him as the head coach when the time comes rather than losing him. I watched my Atlanta Falcons lose Kyle Shanahan as their offensive coordinator and the team has been horrible ever since that Super Bowl loss to the patriots when he left.

    The Big XII has to begin to emphasize their Olympic sports programs within the league. Where are the cross country, swimming, wrestling, etc. head-to-heads? Why does gymnastics only feature a few teams each year? The rowing teams seem to only meet for a championship each year (ok, transporting the boats can be quite costly and potentially damaging to the boats); at least this one makes some sense. Why is there no Big XII soccer championship for either men or women? I think my point about what the conference is lacking is a true about an across the board sports emphasis and not just the big three of football, basketball (men’s and women’s) and baseball/softball. There isn’t a big emphasis, or any emphasis in some cases, on the other sports to make the conference a full-fledged university sports conference. Yes, there is little to no revenue from those other sports; but, they still bring in athletes that boost the conference prestige overall. Wouldn’t it be great to boast about how many final four basketball AND soccer teams, both men’s and women’s, the conference had representing them in any year? It would be even better if the conference could boast about the total number of All Americans in the big three AND the rest of the sports in any given year. Without the organization recognizing the other sports, there is no chance of that happening,

    I really hate to say it as a WV boy and obviously a huge Mountaineer fan but I think we will win 5 games this year. We have been in a decline since they made Coach Stewart the permanent Head Coach. Great Man I loved the man it’s not personal. He did a hell of a job getting the team fired up to play Oklahoma and destroying them.

    At the very end of the video.....don't agree at all that holgerson had a good thing going. He had several teams with talent to win 10+ games and couldn't get it done.

    I feel like it all depends on whether or not Daniels can win the locker room over. Garrett has been an energy guy and a spearhead since he committed. Goose has been wowing in practice and Nico has done all the right things. It might not be so much a deal of JT not fitting as much as the locker room just really loving the guys they already have. IF they give Daniels the starting spot without him earning it from the players, things could go sideways. If Daniels really is that good and it's undeniable to those who see him compete with what we already have; then we make a run. If we what we have is good enough to hold Daniels off and keep the starting spot, then I think we're good enough to make a run. As long as we don't implode the team's chemistry, we should be fine either way.

      Judging by the pictures from his visit he seemed to be getting along great with starting running back Tony Mathis and starting TE Mike O’Laughlin. I also saw tweets from the wide receivers, BFW specifically. I think they know what they had at QB and they know what JT brings and everyone seems excited.

      Here we go again. This is exactly the same talk that screwed JT at UGA. Fans like you calling for the guys already here to start. Do you want a 5 Star starting QB or not? None of the QB's on the roster have a NC in College and HS. None were Gatorade player of the year. None were 7-0 against SEC talent. What else does he have to prove to you? Unbelievable.

    • @nazmoking3171
      @nazmoking3171 2 года назад

      JT Daniels experience will win over the locker room immediately and this will not be an issue. The other QB’s may be popular with some players but they have nothing on their resumes to show that they can win in college football.

    On the recruiting side of brown are we now seeing what he can do if so why now tho and I think jt going to do great but at the same time the offense line was horrible last year i feel like wvu is way in the bottom comparing to the last 15 year in the rich era I know it’s two different coaches but that’s what wvu fans want to see

    Consider this. JT Daniels has never had a good OC who turned him lose and let him play to his maximum potential in colleger. In 2018 his OC was Tee Martin who never had a OC job in D1. Halfway through the season there was a riff between HC Helton and T Martin about poor play calling starting rumors Clay intervened in the play calling mid season. After the season Tee Martin quit and Helton was also removed from play calling duties by the AD eventually he waa fired altogether. Graham Harrell was hired for 2019 JT got hurt in the first half of week 1. He goes to UGA and ends up in a system where Kirby tones him down to play within a game manager system and often took him out of games in blowouts so he couldn't pad the stats like orher QB's get too (Bryce Young). Despite that JT has some very good numbers. This will be the first time a OC will turn him loose and let him flourish and play to his maximum potential. My prediction 40 Td's 10 Ints He's a gunslinger so he will throw picks but he will throw alot of TD's and win. I say he will average 300 Yards a game. Finally we will get to see the real JT. He's alot better that what his stats say. He's fought alot of obstacles his whole career. Injury, poor coaching, bad OL, Kirbys game manager system. I'm just happy for hom Graham Harrell will let him throw it. He likes the QB's to play loose and not worry about making a mistake just play. Perfect OC for Jt.

      I’m not sure how a coach that was 61-41 drove the program into the ground. And the new coach has a losing record after three years is a huge improvement 🙃

      @@nazmoking3171 only if the QB doesn't know the system Jt. Daniels has great chemistry with Gramm Harold you na sayers will see that. For a freshman yes 2 or three years but Jt. Daniels not a rookie QB and Championship ring
