- Today on JD Cars we’re installing ISC N1 coilovers on my BMW F30! I have definitely enjoyed the adaptive M suspension but every time I’d hop in the car I would put the car in sport + (stiff suspension) and almost never used comfort mode. Sport + left me wanting more performance and that’s where ISC Suspension came in clutch with these awesome coilovers. Overall, a very easy and straight forward install with incredible results! Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe for more BMW content!

so i'm fixing to purchase some coil overs and been looking at different videos. didn't think i would sit and watch the entire thing but man its probably one of the best i've seen so far! thanks man will def subscribe!
Much appreciated! Which coilovers did you end up going with?
1 hour of content. Amazing!
Remove the hub from the strut first, then remove the top mount bolts, much easier that way. Thanks for the vid
I’m getting my coilovers on in a few days I’m super excited than I see this pop up haha
Can you give us an update on how the suspension holds up after a few months. Please i am looking to purchase this kit. But i dont want to have future problems.
as always, great content!
Thanks guys!
Looks really good!
Can you do an update on the coils I definitely consider buy ISC
Great channel - excellent work. So I have a 328i Xdrive (2015) MSport and have adaptive suspension. I am intrigued by the ISC and have read some information calling into question reliability. I am torn between Bilstein b14 Coilovers and the ISC N1 V2 with upgraded springs. I like the ability to adjust ride dampening but am torn between sacraficing it for Bilstein name/reliability. Appreciate any thoughts or comments. Keep up great work -
Much appreciated, Ron! I think you are right about the Bilstein name and reliability. You are paying a lot for both with Bilstein. With ISC, you aren't paying for a big label brand, but you still have excellent reliability! Not a lot of people talk about it, but ISC coilovers come with a lifetime warranty. ISC seems to be the best bang for your buck in my opinion. Hope this helps!
@@JDCarsChannel Thank you JD
do you still have your OEM suspension? Would you ship them to Canada?
Do they not make coils for LCI models ? Seems like only up to 2017 :(
what valving and spring options did you go with
Street sport
coilovers good for daily?
If you have good roads, sure. Not if there's a lot of potholes.
Did you go with the spring upgrade?
Did you set preload for front and rear?
The ISC bags you got are those just for storage or are they to put over the coil over ?
Also what triple S springs did you go with? And what valving setting did you do?
Those are covers that stay on. They keep debris out of the coilovers. I did the street sport valve
link to the coils?
You’ve done this once before, right. How long did this one take you (start to finish)?
I completed this job in about one weekend. I took my time, was filming, and took breaks. One could do the whole install in a day with the right tools.
What other handling related mods are done to the car?
Nothing yet! The Michelin PS4S tires help a lot though
I’m getting coilovers in a few weeks for my f30, i’m wondering if it goes lower than that?
They do go a bit lower yes, and the springs will break in over time
What spring rate did you get? sport/comfort or track?
12k front 10k rear I believe-- street sport!
what was the reason with going with ISC over like some BC racing ones? im looking to get some coilovers also
ISC offers better quality, REAL customer service from enthusiasts, and a lifetime warranty on their coilovers
I have a bmw f30 320 x drive and I'm going to get coil overs soon. I'm debating k1s from KW or going overkill with some b16s. These seem really cool but idk how I would be able to get around with no sport mode. How are you planning on going about coding it out so u can go back to using sport or sport plus mode? Cause I'm not sure what coil overs to get because of the edc and adaptive suspension. Makes thing a bit trickier. Regardless happy 4 u and ur new suspension keep it up. Ur old shocks are where mine are at now. Trash
I honestly don’t miss the adaptive suspension at all. I had MyBimmerBrain code out the edc so I can use the sport modes without any error codes
U should add the lifw time warranty is limited too a few thjngs
#1 - a profeaaional shop must install it and with reciept if ur making a cliam
#2 original owner purchases from authorized dealer, are only allow to use the warrant, 2md hand market, u have no warranty.
#3 - what ur doing now, nulls ur life time warranty , even if ur a knowlege baxk yard mexhanics and installed tons of coilover.
Without that certificate that says ur an qualify mechanic, ur warranty means notthings.
Sorry to bust ur balls dude. I was like what... thats cray becasue i have narrow it down to 2 coilovers and isc is my
# 1 choice isc
# 2 bc racin
# 3 buy nothing save.up more for something better.
Buy once and do it right tge 1st time.
Nm...I watched more.
I would just change the springs if I was you. Your gonna have issues once you install those, watch.....
