  • Just a short walk around of the Shopsabre CNC plasma table and some of the options it has. There are a few reasons we chose this table and in this video we go into a few of those reasons.#SOTMETALWORKS #SHOPSABRE #Hypertherm

    First, thanks for the videos and sharing them.
    Second, I was a shape cutting operator for several years and was curious about the amperage you have on that unit. We cut up to 1 1/2" with 200 amps.
    Thanks again for sharing.

      Great Question, will put that one in the video to come. However it is a 65 amp machine, says it will cut 3/4 but have not tried that yet.

    That was great information! After that, Shop Sabre should give you a free table lol! How long do things take to cut? Maybe you could grab some samples of things that took a long time and things that were fast and easy. Maybe also talk about what makes something harder or easier to design, cut, clean up, etc... Thanks for another great video!

    Nice Video. I appreciated how you actually do a walk around of it and show your set up. Just received my sidekick 8 as well and having a rough time pulling the hypertherm lead through the lower tracks. I'm about to take the whole assembly apart to get this through but thought Id see if you have any tips pulling the insulated wire through the tracks? Thanks in advance!

    • @shootersoptiontargets
      @shootersoptiontargets  5 лет назад

      Had that problem also, the tops of those tracks snap loose with a little effort then you can lay your lead in there where you need it. than make sure everything fits in nicely before snapping them back in place . thanks for watching.

      @@shootersoptiontargets Thanks for the intel. Just FYI- I was able to run the lead through the tracks after disassembly and as you suggested detaching the tracks. Did this on a sunday. Called ShopSabre Monday am just to check and was told NOT to run the torch lead through the tracks as the hyperthem manual suggested. They suggest to just zip tie it to the side of the tracks to lower any EMI. Would have been helpful to have that noted in their manual but all good now. Looking forward to more videos, keep up the good work.

    How often do you have to replace your consumables on the plasma torch?
    What is the table capacity for sheet stock? Looks like 5X10 foot in the videos....

      Tom Del Casale it’s all I know comrade. I’ve been trying to learn your language but it’s dumb with or without vodkas.
      For example, “I’m currently enjoying a light read. the book I’m reading seems familiar, it’s about saws, I feel like I’ve read it before but when I saw it on the shelf I picked it up, probably just as I did before. I wonder if it has anything to do with the cover being red? However being hardback the book certainly isn’t light at all.”
