Excellent. Thank you so much. I just had 2 parathyroid glands removed and feel very good. More people need to see this.

I just had three parathyroid glands removed and I never had high calcium. PTH would go up and down over the last few years. They looked into mine further due to worsening osteoporosis

I need an IV for hypocalcemia not ever needed one yet though thankfully needed to reduce my calcium back to low again made it go to 3.8 should be low no parathyroid told me to double my dose to 4 a day lucky have a blood test that day literally saved my life

Very interesting and clear explanation for those who know little about hyper parathyroid function.
Is there any way where food intake can affect PTh. To regulate the calcium balance in the blood surely food, medication plays a role?
    Thank you for your reply

I wish my nephrologist would send
Me to have mine tested. I’m positive there is something going on with it. But he’d rather just give me pills 😡😡.
