- Enjoy the various wildlife captured on a trail camera in the middle of the remote Kabetogama Peninsula deep in the center of Voyageurs National Park. All footage is from mid-September 2021 to early December 2021.
This particular camera was intentionally set-up near the border of the Nashata Pack territory and the Shoepack Lake Pack territory in hopes of getting footage of both packs. And it worked! The larger pack in the video (i.e., the pack of 9 wolves) is the Shoepack Lake Pack and the smaller pack of 4-5 is the Nashata Pack.
One little side note: this camera captured more moose on it than any camera we have ever deployed!

Wolves are magnificent. They sure give the camera a once over! Ha!. Bonus: all the other wildlife. Thank you for setting this up and sharing. Wonderful to see.
God Bless Wolves. They are so beautiful. Thank you for making my day.
What a wildlife highway, if there ever was one!
Fabulous! Love the moose footage, the wolves are stunning.
Thank you for sharing this video! The wolves are beautiful and how nice to see the healthy diversity of the animals in the area.
Really nice to see the diversity of wildlife using this area. They seem to know there is a camera there.
I love how they all use the same pathway!
Great varied footage! Love the sound of rustling autumn leaves too!
Not camera shy! Beautiful footage again! 🧡🧡🧡
Many of the animals sense something foreign in the vicinity of the camera. One cannot beat, tame, or fool nature. Amazing footage! Thanks!
This warms my heart and brings a tear of joy to my eye. What a treat to get to see all these gorgeous animals living their lives without being disturbed- as it should be. I came for the wolves, but I love them all! The wolf running past with their tongue hanging out (1:35) was so cute and funny- I think that was a smile- and something about the wolf sniffing around (0:48) I just found absolutely adorable. Did he/she run off with a leaf in their mouth? Thank you so much for your hard work and for this video!
Outstanding work. Good choice for camera placement. Good local diversity use of trail
Amazing footage! ❤️❤️❤️
I love watching them run in the snow!
Miss being amongst nature. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful look into the wildlife in and around the woods !
I love wildlife so much. 💕
"READY SMILE"
outstanding...
Interesting to see the size difference between the marten and the fisher.
The shoepack wolves are so beautiful!
Amazing footage!! Tom, great job!!
Wow, beautiful, simply beautiful
Beautiful! ♥️
I noticed the pack all have black tipped tails💖
I think the closest I will ever get to comprehending how big a moose is, aside from seeing one in the flesh, is remembering photos of wolves next to people and then comparing the wolves in this video to the moose that walk through.
Loving the night footage!
Bellissimo video.
Love those pics! We have Fisher on the cams but no Marten yet. That's a pretty good size pack there. 😊
Bellissimo filmato
Wow, quite a few martens here!
Always a day brightener to see a new video! They are such a treat to watch.
Any ideas about that one wolf who seems to habituated up there? I was wondering if he was a hybrid.
This is so good
Good Luck!
The funny thing is that the wolves do see the camera... Smell it too.
They are just staying calm and keep wolfing.
Love these guys. What's the stuff you put around the area that made them go nuts. Bears standing up rubbing their backs on the tree. Wild! Thumbs ( because we have them and can ) up
I’m gonna use some of this footage for the intro in my videos I will give credits in the description if that’s ok!
It is awesome to see biodiversity, interdependence of species, and carrying capacity working as intended.
Don’t the wolves hunt moose? What do they predate on the most?great video! Lots of deer. Nice moose!Martin and fishers? The wolves look wonderful!
Love this 💕💕💕
I feel like I'm watching a scooby doo or keystone cops scene. When the villain is chasing the good guys going through doors and never meeting....
So beautyfull ❤️
wolves: not another camera! 😄
I would love to be there but in a way that I would not be in danger of dying. Is there such a way? Maybe in my next life I will come back as a trail cam...
Best time of the year
3:28 one of the wolves seems to have spotted the camera
What is the beautiful bird at 0:22?
so much moose
The Fischer is sweet 👍
Isi it a fisher or an America Pine Marten? They should put captions for dummies like me.
@@GreatNo01 it's both
@@GreatNo01 the pine marten is the small one that's reddish the Fisher is the larger critter would that real long tail and that loping gait
..can anyone name the Weasle crossing the trail..?
I shall name it Carlos
Wow! Such a beautiful group of wolves. Yesterday I was watching a documentary (ruclips.net/video/xnarDfTTIL8/видео.html) where two professors of the University of Waterloo (Drs. Ms & Mr. Theberge) hypothesized that wolves in Algonquin National Park, Ontario ( I know it is very far from your Voyageurs wolf project, guys) are in fact Red wolves and not gray wolves (genetic evidence they claim to have). I found it fascinating, given the highly controversial status of red wolves in NC-USA. What do you guys think about that?
Very nice !!! What camera did you use ?
Cool Video cool RUclips 👍🏻
cool!
