The latest GTA 5 Update allowed us to buy cop cars and these police cars cost a lot of money. However, even though the GTA Online update allowed us to buy police cars, they can't be used for much. Hopefully the new GTA 5 Online update gives us uses for our cop cars as it also will add new police cars.

I havent played gta online in several months, not because i dont like it, but because everything is so freakin expensive, and i cant stand these gaming companies literally sucking peoples wallets dry with microtransactions and fomo. Game graphics and whatnot aside, its just a sad era for gaming. Im 29, i remember when games actually came out 100% finished, no bugs, and you actually got a whole game. Forza is a ridiculous one too, pay hella money for cars just to be bored in a few mins. If gta wasnt so greedy id play it. But fuck em

Tbh idk if you know but they added this feature because basically last year or so people found a way to keep the dude for this mission trapped under your car and he'd just continuously give you free RP for holding him under your car so to prevent that after trying 2 separate times they decided to just make his car explode to prevent anyone from even getting too close to him 😂😂😂

it does work with the unmarked cruiser weirdly. it has to do with the unmarked one being a base game cop car, and the 'new' le cruiser being a dlc one

I have the trade price for just over 4mil but i use the contract dlc mission which is 1 mil a pop. So its slow asf to get money.

Not really, considering the resources they throw at you, to chase you every second. This is including both Story Mode, and gta Online. It seems their budget is bottomless.

The game has been out for 9 years if you don’t have billons of dollars then they practically give money for free for small amount of time playing is a joke make it make sense why people are broke..🤦🏾 let’s also not talk about the easy azz glitches you can do too if you don’t want to play the game for at least 4 hours and make 30 mill just selling businesses the game gave us 5 years ago

The price makes sense due to high demand for the content in the past, however not being able to sell them ticks me off a bit especially now that the first ones that were released are majorly outclassed now
The payphone hits are some of the glitchiest late mission they've ever added to the game.

@@XSpiderXVenom OG (Obese Giraffe) is what I call him even tho he is a real gta 5 OG. The people that been around for years remember his old videos. He used to post glitches that was legit and he would get right to the point. But TakeTwo or Rockstar did strikes against OG and his RUclips account was almost banned. So he had to delete all glitche content and can’t make anymore. People still make glitch videos but OG just doesn’t want to battle with RockStar. People that make glitch videos will repost same video over and over or clickbait for views. NEVER with OG ❤️

I found that out like a week ago too. Got a payphone hit and was like "aw fuck yeah, should be easy". See that it's the same one shown here. Whip out my multimillion dollar police car only to find out I can't fucking use it. Almost convinced it was a wast of time and money.
To be fair, it should be commonplace to know that when content is released during an update, 90% of the time it will not work for later content, rockstar somehow still finds ways to surprise us

I guess the way Rockstar programmed it was this:
The payphone hits were released with the Contract DLC, prior to being able to purchase your own police vehicle.
2 years later, they finally gave us the option to buy police vehicles, however as personal vehicles.
They did not take into consideration "use any police vehicle" they took instead the consideration of the continuing previous code of "use a mission-spawned or wild police car" (that is not your personal vehicle). I'm sure thats how they kept their programmed codes anyways.
They’re really pushing the milk EVERY SINGLE PENNY in preparation for gta 6 😂

I think it’s the best juxtaposition that GTA Online finds itself in. GTA IV made fun of Sharkcards as method of predatory loandsharking, meanwhile GTA V does both - make fun of shark-cards ironically, and sells them for money.
The game is called Grand Theft Auto, just steal a police car from a police station while no one is looking.

Its the same with the scoped rifle task on the payphone assassination. If you use yours instead of the one they want you to pick up, you won't get the bonus.
This post just made me realize a completly normal police car cost more than a military grade submarine (kotsaka) in GTA
The reason behind that is because it’s a brand new vehicle so if you use the undercover police vehicle that you can buy it will work since it’s been in the game a long time
I used my own unmarked cruiser for the mission and it worked for me

@@ObeseGiraffe Because the unmarked cruiser is the default Unmarked cruiser that is already in the game, so it seems to me that rockstar made it that the Police cars you can find on the streets or in missions are scripted to make this mission work, however this doesn't carry over to the new police cars because they don't have the scripts. (This is my theory) it seems like the most logic thing that rockstar did since we all know that they are lazy.
😂😂😂 had a similar issue on a mission I needed a semi cab for I thought if I spawned Moc my cab would work for the mission, the answer is no you cant 😂

People complaint they can't buy cosmetic police car for the 1st hour of game. After all heists you'll got more than enough money
I remember when GTA 5 came out and they said it would have a dynamic economy. If a cop car costs 3 mill... its because the players have ruined the economy.
Probably old news but just in case, for the popstar mission you can just call the cops and they will come right to you and you can steal one near the target. Same for the taxi hit just call them. But for taxi you just have to make sure you have any amount of cash in pocket.
Same goes with the MOC cab not working for the other assassination
Imagine still playing GTA Online when you can play in an RP community and have so much more available to you
Worst part is, they nerf the heists so it's harder to make money. Absolutely ridiculous

I remember a similar thing for the nightclub where the band wanted to be picked up in a specific vehicle and even though I was driving the exact vehicle because I owned it I still had to go and steal the one the game said to
Note that this doesnt happen with the taxi pay phone hit. It'll tell yoy to get a taxi from the Downtown Taxi Co, but if you own the arena war taxi, you can use it to complete the challenge. Or better yet, call a taxi using your phone and just jack it when it gets to you.

There's one thing that we can agree on Rockstar just rushes their projects and doesn't actually fully think them through before releasing any updates they just want money they don't give a f*** about the fans and if they get what they want they'll get what they want when they give a f*** enough to actually fix it it's what it starts screwing with their income is when they actually do something about it I have noticed it quite a bit being a player GTA for about I don't know 5 to 6 years
It's the same with trucks to chase the same guy. If you just grab any truck it will take forever to destroy him and you will not get the bonus. So you have to use the slow gasping rattle trap they give you to do the job. Its the same with taxis for the tech millionaire you cannot use your own taxi.

The police undercover one, grey one, worked for me. I think Rockstar had an update on it since I was able to use that. Also used my own taxi for having another payphone hit that requires you to get one. And since I have a taxi cab business, I ised mine and still worked. There may be some bugs on the police version, or if this was uploaded by the time the new update was released then it should work now

FYI it’s easy as hell to come up with the money to buy this. You only 1 person, for the diamond casino heist, run the Cayo and dr. Dre missions. Sell your nightclub basement storage. Go collect 750 min from businesses

They have to change this soon I imagine. They quickly made it so you could use the Eudora and other taxi cars for taxi work as well as the taxi pay phone missions. It’s kind of an L they didn’t have this already but I imagine it’ll be a change they make soon. Staying hopeful

It's not a bamboozle. You literally go to the yellow icon for the special vehicle for the hit or it won't register. The hit will give you cop cars and taxis for hits.
