But if u didn’t choose option c and you chose to kill Michael or Trevor, would those events where u finally see what’s in that locker room in michaels house or find out trevors secret base? a reminder that when you kill Trevor, Michael is there to help. But when you choose to kill Michael, Trevor wants no part in it. Trevor Loyal till the end! the writing on this video game was Oscar worthy. Trevor doesn't have a family so like any single man he puts his trust into his friends, Where as Michael has a family and so therefore all his decisions are based around his wife and kids.
After you kill Trevor if you encounter Micheal Franklin will say that he kinda feels bad for what he did and Micheal will say "nah he deserved it", but if you kill Micheal if you encounter Trevor as Micheal Trevor will ask Franklin why did he do that and be mad at him, Frank will say "look man I'm sorry but I had to he was gonna do something" and Franklin will say "he was good to you, you shouldn't have done that, you better keep away from me Franklin idk what will I do to you if you keep coming to me",
Trevor deserves it though. All three are criminals but Trevor actively creates violent destructive situations. Story wise Trevor is a monster who kills and hurts everyone around him even his own allies. He kills wades cousin even after he helps Trevor with a heist and let's him live in his apartment. I could go on but yeah Trevor does deserve it.

A better way they could've implemented "Kill Franklin" was if Franklin actually agreed to Lester's idea to kill both Michael and Trevor, after which Michael and Trevor are warned by Lester, who both team up to take him out.
It's the GTA SA nostalgia, but imagine as a nod Franklin escapes on a Hospital truck and Trevor and Michael chase him in a car. I can see Franklin remarking how this all started, just because he stole Jimmy's car and worked for a greedy car dealer. Edit: Late, but yeah, both of Franklin's "mentors" killing him is sad to imagine, but this is GTA. In this line of work, it's not surprising loyalty is thin for some, bigger for others. They're criminals. Michael & Trevor have known each other longer, despite what Michael did to him. Maybe this ending could've been unlockable with Franklin trying to get the two of them to get along? Unintentionally writing his death sentence. And as much as they love Franklin, this could've happened if they knew he was coming, under the right yet painful circumstances. Plus, going from Michael betraying Trevor & Brad, with the latter dying, to Michael working with Trevor to take care of the third member is an interesting way of things coming full circle.
Options A and B both broke my heart. Option C is the one I went with when I finished GTA V story mode myself. To me, option C is satisfying, and put a smile on my face.

I just played the story mode for the first time this past week and I chose option C. So glad I did, I don’t think I coulda handled options a or b. Way too emotional. Hell it was hard watching the clips. But each ending was a masterpiece.
A and B were just there to make you regret what you're about to do, and like what another commenter said, options A and B were most likely made as an experimentation to something, and it wouldn't make any sense for Franklin to kill any of these two, it's somewhat out of his character.
There was so much potential with Lamar as a playable character imagine the possibilities, gang wars going against the ballas, Vagos and more. Lamar strangers and freaks missions, various friends who are in the families too that you can hang out with do missions with and drivebys and much more, it would have been perfect in my opinion, too bad Slink Johnson got in legal trouble.
I think you would earn in a dlc with lamar absolute no money in the whole walkthrough because lamar is shitty in planning jobs. And every mission with him end in a complete desaster and a big shootout with some gang bangers and the cops who nearly catch you.
Loyal people chose option c. Trevor might be crazy but he always had your back. When push came to shove he was there for Michael too. And eventually they do work things out if all the characters survive the main story. You don’t kill Michael because Michael was legit always there for you and you’d still be stuck in the hood without him. The only good option is C.
I love how as ur about to kill Michael he gets on the phone with his wife and his daughter is going to college and he all happy about his life he got his wife and kids back and has a good job they really made you feel kinda guilty on this one
I love these three character so much, the personality, the way they speak, the storyline. So I choose ending C everytime, cause I don't want to see any of them died. Hope the storyline of GTA6 may be as good as this one.(If only they will launch this game soon...)
There was no way I could get rid of Trevor or Michael. I became attached to all of the characters by the end of the game, and I wanted all of them to enjoy the money they stole lol.

The “Tracy going to college” thing makes ending B even more sadder seeing how Franklin has to kill the one that took him in and basically taught him everything
I'm glad they included all this, but we all know nothing but Deathwish fits Franklin's personality. Who dives headfirst into an ocean of Triads to save the life of a guy you're just gonna backstab later?
We basically here watching this out of curiosity, cause no one in their rightful mind was dumb enough to choose A or B. Now having seen all the outcomes after all this years, I don’t regret one tiny bit the moment I chose Deathwish 🤘🏻
Fun Facts: Gonna Tell Their Characteristics: Franklin: The Most Calm Character (so far) By Almost The Whole Story Mode Trevor: The Most Bad Temper And Psycho By The Whole Story Mode Michael: The Suicidal One That Almost Dies By The Whole Story Mode
Gotta love how the game goes out of its way to make you feel guilty as sin for picking B, and how it even goes beyond the mission itself (like how you don't get half of Michael's cut from the UD heist like you do with Trevor, and Trevor cuts off all ties with you versus Michael who stays friends with you). It's like a big ol' _"you done fucked up"_ from Rockstar themselves.
Michael blocks your number and stops being your friend as well dont know what youre talking about. The only way to get in touch with Micha after killing Trevor, is by physically finding him and going to his location in the game, then stalk him and wait for him to be alone before you walk up to him, otherwise he just ignores you. The secret dialogue you get by doing what I said, is that he basically blames the whole thing on Franklin for calling him, though mentions that he himself also feels guilt, and then tells franklin that he no longer wants a friendship or connection with him and to leave him alone. In fact, all that is shown in this video. So i don't understand how you could say Michael continues to be your friend, when the very first thing you realize after the mission is that he's blocked your number and you can't call him any longer. And that without an extensive amount of effort, you cannot communicate with him at all. And how even AFTER said extensive effort, he still only tells you he doesn't want your friendship any longer. Wierd thing to get so very wrong.
Most people say option A makes sense, but it didn't feel right. Trevor was crazy ass dude, but I felt he didn't deserve it. So I went with Option C...and boy, it didn't disappoint. It was a longer story and it was bloodyyyy as heck
he absolutely deserved it. he's not the loyal guy that people wants to believe he is. he's literally a fucking cannibal, that exploit his friends(ron, wade ecc) he literally killed wade friends to trick him into thinking he was the only one that cared about him. hes a monster that has no regret for nothing. i dont care if its not his fault becose he was abused an poor when he was little, micheal was too but didnt turn out like that. there is no redemption possibility for trevor killing him its the most logical option
Yesterday i played the mission for the first time and i did not think twice before selecting deathwish. I mean even both of them have helped Franklin to grow and change his life completely.
I only played through the game once but I honestly never thought about the fact there were endings other than C cause in my mind the obvious answer was there had to be a way to save them both
I was legit about to hop on and see how real that was, given that no one else bothered to call it out. Now I can just hop onto Online and not waste my time! Thank you very much! 😂👏
The best ending is easily Deathwish, it’s just so grand and everyone gets to put the shit in the ground and move forward, but the kill Michael ending is easily the most thematically interesting, well written, and most brutal ending of the three. Trevor was the only one who genuinely cared even through the psychotic horrific persona so his brutal death was a butchering, but Michael and Franklin really had this close dynamic like nothing else and Option B really gives it a brilliant ending. It’s wrong to choose anything other than Deathwish, but the kill Michael ending is phenomenal.
This game was a journey for me when I got to this part I remembered when Micheal told Franklin there is a time where he was going to make a tough decision
There is no prologue ending, I’ve tried it myself with a new save and multiple other people say it’s fake, while it does seem like R* would do this they would put more detail, for one that guard isn’t tied down, and it doesn’t sound like them at all. Also the animation of the crew going into the ship looks like it’s from PVZGW2 (amazing game btw)
The first time I played this through, I thought if there was going to be a major character that would die, it'd be Lester. Like he'd finally succumb to whatever illness he had, and you had to do the Union Depository without him or something.
I think Lester has no terminal illness, since he is running around perfectly fine even years later in the GTA:O Timeline and finding a new meaning in his life (don't wanna spoiler too much, maybe someone hasn't played the initial Diamond Casino Heist yet)
Knowing the difference between A or B, I end up feeling the most sorry for Trevor. If you kill Michael, Trevor and Franklin can't go near each other because Trevor will attack Franklin if they cross paths too often. With Trevor, Michael helps Franklin kill Trevor in the end. It just proves that Trevor was loyal to a fault, while Michael really did not care either way.
yeah i completly agree with you... mike and franklin genuinely mean a lot to trevor and they would be ready to betray him like that with close to no remorse? like-
Trevor would attack Big Frank after Michael's death? Anyway, I've never chose that ending. There's also a rumor that Michael's family kidnaps Big Frank after his death, knowing that he has something to do with Michael's death. The text from Amanda is probably true, but the rest is mod. 🤘
Trevor tried to kill michael, and has put all of his friends in danger because of stupid missions, honestly trevor was the most psychopath of them all. Michael has a family that he needs to take care of. I think killing Michael is the most selfish way to end the game.
36:12 lmfao. I'm so sorry but He straight up shot himself without even thinking or calling one of his friends is so hilarious, Especially the credits also rolled quickly. ROFL
Something interesting I read about is that the beta ending did have the option to have a different story with Lamar being deeper involved. Rockstar Games originally wanted to kill Franklin in the last alternate ending and replace his character slot with Lamar Davis. However, due to Gerald Johnson’s personal issues in real-life, GTA 5's story designers had to change the third ending completely. This means that we were able to kill Franklin before the full game was released but they changed it for a good reason.
@@juss8290 Killing Michael is the most forced one, Franklin says how Mike was using him the whole time and he was his bitch. But none of that happened, they were perfectly fine together the whole game. Very out of character, plus the fact F would do what Devon wants after all he did to them
The Trevor and Michael endings were tear-inducing. Trevor's ending was sad because you could see and hear how awful he felt knowing that the two people he was closest to were about to kill him. He was a psychopath but even his betrayal and death was saddening AF. Michael's ending was sadder because I loved how well Michael and Franklin got along as friends. Heck, they're my favorite friend paring in the whole game (with Franklin and Lamar being second). Seeing Michael being betrayed by someone he sees as his own son is definitely the saddest part of the game. It just makes me SO thankful that those endings never happened and The Third Way is the only canon ending. The alien prologue ending was hilarious however.
Man, that beta ending, good thing they changed it entirely for the final game, because all in all, it only lets the antagonists on the loose, like A and B.
The death wish is the ending I’m gonna pick also Trevor, Michael and,Franklin even there are so many people trying to kill them they ain’t gonna die and if they are sticked together they are invinsible
Type Ending A - (Kill trevor) - It is an intermediate ending because some bad things happen but not as bad as ending B, because in ending B everyone hates you and trevor hates you in A is not quite like that and many believe that this ending was supposed to be the real ending- Ending A (Sad/ Moderate/ Realistic/) Because who isn't into a Psycho????! Ending B - (Kill Michael) This ending is certainly the worst ending of all because everyone hates him and Michael dies although he acted very quickly in ending A to kill Trevor, but this ending has many consequences which leaves the game very annoying and it's the Sad Ending, B Ending (Sad/Weak/Understanding) End C (Save all) This is certainly the best ending of all, all the protagonists are saved and the villains die and the best ending of all and I believe that this is the true ending, note 10 for this ending, a curiosity in this ending was for franklin to die so that removed that option, Final C - (Happy, High, Best Ever) They could create a D option.. Fun Facts: Gonna Tell Their Characteristics:
Franklin: The Most Calm Character (so far) By Almost The Whole Story Mode
Trevor: The Most Bad Temper And Psycho By The Whole Story Mode
Michael: The Suicidal One That Almost Dies By The Whole Story Mode
Killing Michael is the hardest to do in my opinion because he seems like he truly doesn't want to die unlike Trevor.
and to make it worse his daughter just got in college
Yesterday i played the mission for the first time and i did not think twice before selecting deathwish. I mean even both of them have helped Franklin to grow and change his life completely.

Also, Rockstar is WRONG for adding that phone call right before Michael gets killed.
yeah i completly agree with you... mike and franklin genuinely mean a lot to trevor and they would be ready to betray him like that with close to no remorse? like-
Trevor would attack Big Frank after Michael's death? Anyway, I've never chose that ending. There's also a rumor that Michael's family kidnaps Big Frank after his death, knowing that he has something to do with Michael's death. The text from Amanda is probably true, but the rest is mod. 🤘
Trevor tried to kill michael, and has put all of his friends in danger because of stupid missions, honestly trevor was the most psychopath of them all. Michael has a family that he needs to take care of. I think killing Michael is the most selfish way to end the game.
@@melikah5707 bro if you pick A your the most selfish thing on earth Trevor is loyal he never helped Franklin on killing Michael

Im so glad i chose option c. Didnt even hesitate to chose it
Something interesting I read about is that the beta ending did have the option to have a different story with Lamar being deeper involved.
Ending C is always the way to go.

Crazy how GTA 5 is almost a decade now.
