The dog who the story is named after is a popular story shared and memorialised in the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh (where GTA is made.) The Skye Terrier (who is the same breed of dog that Franklin follows) became well known in the city after his owner died as he protected the grave of his owner for 14 years before the dog died, people would feed and give the dog attention, the same way that the dog in the encounter protects his owner's grave. The most depressing one was the one Trevor's Birthday Mission. Spoiler alert! Trevor was caught by police almost and ran away from the cops with no trace and he was banging his head crying.

The dog who the story is named after is a popular story shared and memorialised in the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh (where GTA is made.) The Skye Terrier (who is the same breed of dog that Franklin follows) became well known in the city after his owner died as he protected the grave of his owner for 14 years before the dog died, people would feed and give the dog attention, the same way that the dog in the encounter protects his owner's grave. It's definitely a sad story, but Edinburgh itself is filled with ghost stories like these.
