According to my understanding, Various Names are given to God. See them as power, not the human body. That's why we are told do not need to worship the picture of God. different names are also given to reciting his name with one mind and solely focusing on that power means Waheguru.
I don’t want to be a slave to my own emotions and only feel good when something goes my way and bad when something doesn’t. But should I not try to make things go my way still? Should I not feel happy when I score a goal in football?
hey john, sikhi teaches that we are stuck in a cycle of life and reincarnation, therefore suffering. The way to end suffering is to connect to the gift of life its self rather than being distracted by the illusion of desires. one may describe it as, the way to exit this cycle is to die whilst your body still lives, by detaching from your sense of "this is me" and becoming 'this is you'
@G Singh I dont know, to be honest. the answer is in gurbani but i'm not studied well enough to tell you. the comment i left for the guy is the sum of my knowledge right now, its what ive ben shown by other sikhs discussing these topics and i feel that when i am successful in simran it is in line with this knowledge of conecting to something beyond the life death cycle. If you find a satisfying answer to this please inform me, always looking to learn. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru JI KI Fateh
I think the objective is to change your consciousness from the consciousness of I to the consciousness of You. Whether that consciencness even slightly resembles what we experience now i cannot tell you, i hope to be blessed with that answer though my friend.
His creation moves from the lower level to the higher level; from the gross matter to organisms; from the rational being to the highest spiritual level. From lower consciousness to the highest/pure consciousness. Human is the highest kind, because he has the capacity to realize God, experience God. Sikhs believe that upon death one merges back into the universal nature, just as a drop of rain merges back into the ocean. Individuality is lost. The person merge back with the Creator. The place Sikhs call Sach Khand. The Sikh concept of ‘Sach Khand‘ (the Realm of Truth) is distinct from the Abrahamic concept of Heaven. As Baba Nanak explains ‘Sach Khand’… The final stage of spiritual ascent, i.e. "Sach khand" (the realm of the Truth), defies description. Described as the abode of the Creator, the Formless One, Sach Khand is not a geographical spot, but the final state of the evolution of human consciousness. Sach Khand surrounds the whole of creation and is inside the whole of creation. In essence, Sach Khand is Waheguru (Creator) himself. The Creator dwells here and looks upon his creation with benign attention. There are countless universes, planets and continents, all of which He sees and watches over. All these are beyond one's power to explain, for how can formlessness be described through forms? The stage where the human consciousness merge with the Pure Divine Bliss. All duality in the soul is gone and it enters into the ONENESS OF THE ULTIMATE ONE.

A rare few in this world know Gurbani for it is a Gift from God Himself. To know God even a miniscule one cannot know That God themselves with their mind heart body or their own intelligence knowledge cleverness. Q. What is God? Ans: Not a noun or a pronoun. Not a thing nor a unknown power force or energy. Invisible Imperceptible Profound Limitless Infinite Extraordinary Sovereign Eternal are a few descriptives given. Two attributes make God Distinct. One is Truth the other Spirit. Where a true spirit is there is God. A Guru & His Gurbani are truth. The spirit of a Guru is God. Gurbani then is the Truth from that Spirit God. One God, One Truth & One Spirit is God, Everywhere but Nowhere.

Why is it that Satpal Singh reveals things about Sikhi that I can find from no other teacher? Two of his videos especially come to mind: 'What is God?' and 'Sikhi is Not Monotheism'. It seems to me that other teachers try to squeeze Sikhi into a Christian context and use familiar but misleading words and terms. That way the profundity of Sikhi is dumbed-down. What other teacher would correctly describe Sikhi as panentheistic?

ah yeah i think i came across that. It didnt have a very good understanding of what sikhi is. It was some very surface level descriptions. Who cares, sikhs should not be so sensitive and let what people say hurt their feelings. It's not worth discussing because it is so irrelevant. Its also not worth shutting down or hating on, because they can say whatever they want its a free world. Allowing ourself to be emotionally affected by someone elses actions is our own weaknes.

why are you complicating things for your listener. ?since you have a language to express then how your relate to the supreme Being that control the physical and non physical being ,this supreme Being has names that link to his attributes and your the mera of those names
I have a question, in Islam they talk about God resides in a different dimension beyond the multiverse and is beyond space and time and all his creations exist because of his energy, his will. They don't believe that God exists everywhere. They believe gods will exists everywhere and that Allah is in the throne which exists beyond the multiverse and beyond spacetime.
That doesn't mean anything. You are just giving a very vague unclear picture of God .. doesn't make much sense. Ofcourse God is not some male God sitting in the clouds but according to your panantheistic views it doesn't clearly explain what God is. If universe is God, is the universe even concious ..can he listen to our prayers if not then what is the point of doing all the japp or ardas. Totally confusing.
Allah is true one unique all powerful almighty creater of multiverse with no human likeness and no human imperfection Allah doesn't resembles to it's creation do not take birth nor die who do have partners family wife children who do not eat drink Allah is unique ❤

Yes, God is seen as the eternal, transcendent, and omnipotent source of all creation. God is both the creator and the creation, the ultimate reality that sustains everything.

God is the energy
I have a question
is God every human, every animal, every insect, every plant, every tree, every living organism, every atom, every molecule, every star, every planet, every galaxy, every material object that you see in youre house? Is God all of reality, and life, and all of space, and time, and all material manmade objects that exist, like you're phone, computer, the wall made of bricks, you're clothes, the wooden chair, you're closet..is all of that God? Is God all that is? Does that mean God is some sort of Godly eternal transcendent omnipotent energy? That also is the the supreme divine source and creator of all existence, and life?
God is one without a second!! Simply put creator and his creation!! God cannot be part of creation!!
According to my understanding, Various Names are given to God. See them as power, not the human body. That's why we are told do not need to worship the picture of God. different names are also given to reciting his name with one mind and solely focusing on that power means Waheguru.
Love your video
waheguru ji, where can i find the original (full) talk?

how do you look within?
I don’t want to be a slave to my own emotions and only feel good when something goes my way and bad when something doesn’t. But should I not try to make things go my way still? Should I not feel happy when I score a goal in football?
What comes after physical death? Is there an existence or just the grave?
hey john, sikhi teaches that we are stuck in a cycle of life and reincarnation, therefore suffering.
As Baba Nanak explains ‘Sach Khand’…
The final stage of spiritual ascent, i.e.

The host of nanak naam is showing us how to connect to the guru, the guru is where we get true knowledge.
From what you say, nanak naam has a video of Simran ruclips.net/video/eN8yGfmEMnQ/видео.html , I promise you my friend, simran is the answer to the suffering inside us. This video is a guided simran of saas saas simro. The answer to your suffering is in this gurbani.
I cannot preach, because i have stopped my simran routine recently, and the depression returns.
We are all students, I want to thank you for sharing your feelings so i can see my self in you, you remind me that i am also feeling this and i must do simran. Sometimes we get lost, and nanak naam guided simran is great at helping us return to the path. I will do some simran now, thank you for reminding me. I hope you listen to the video and also do simran.
The guru tells us to sit with the sangat, that cannot be done right now, but I will sit here with you in this comment section, in cyber-sangat :) If you have any questions about the simran or wish to discuss anything about sikhi or improving our self I would enjoy to do this with you.

So this is about semantics?
Which name is Satnam?

Brother you should do some of these videos in Punjabi too, there are people who would love to here this information in Punjabi..
j s .... they don’t wanna know it which is the reason they are losing their identity
Known Stranger ppl want to know, I'm Punjabi, I think he's Punjabi and most of the people he's talking in front of are Punjabi too... There are levels to sikhi he's mostly talks about the second level Gian khand, allot of Punjabi are at darhrum khand which is the 1st level... The stuff he's talking about only works if u understand it, it don't work just knowing about it that's why Punjabi parcharicks don't talk about Gian khand it can have negative effects. You come to Gian khand by doing your own research.. Just like he did..
j s .... k thnx u can listen to Maskeen g bro
I am not here to argue.... simply saying what I see
Known Stranger brother I understand what your saying if most of my Punjabi friends listen to this, it will go over there heads, just like if most English speaking people listened to this they would say this is hippie talk,, most people do not want to self improve and sikhi is all about self improvement,..and bro I'm not trying to argue I know what you mean but there are some punjabis who want to follow sikhi and they want to do the right things, I think they would find this information helpful in Punjabi not all only hand full... And I already listen to maskeen ji...

There is day and night difference between Shaheed Bhai Jagraj Singh and Satpal Singh.
Satpal Singh is still dreaming while Jagraj Singh was awaken soul. Satpal Singh needs to come into the Sharan of Guru Granth Sahib Ji to take Sikhi to mainstream Europe. It will be big step forward if he can bring the Sikhi to his heart!

Sir, there is a RUclips channel named *Sikhism Exposed.* Please say something about it.
I think talking about them will just give them more exposure.
ah yeah i think i came across that.
Pantheism also means one god. It is a universal consciousness.

why are you complicating things for your listener.
