Coming in clutch with this video! I just bought the T2 for my new 50" TV and was worried I wouldn't be able to use the strip. Hopefully I can use this method although I'm thinking my TV might be closer to the wall with the bracket I'm using. Do you think the supplied clips would work if they had been left to cure?
Hi, that's great to hear. The only way for it to work (based on my limited expedience) would be to sling the led through but let it hang straight. Once the clips are cured at least 24 hours, you will have a higher chance. Otherwise, you can find those clips on amazon.
I'm looking at getting the 3 lite for a 49" tv, i was going to bend the strips just as you have however i was more concerned about the camera trying to detect a larger screen than what it is actually looking at so colour detection being off. I was considering fitting the camera further away from the screen than it should be so the edges land in its view better. Doesn't look to be a big issue though based on your video.
you don't have to worry. As part of the calibration, you will be able to see and define the area you want the camera see. It will be clear once you go through it.
All of this troubles because of injust patent laws and Philips company. Hey look, I invented the wheel, now I forbid others to use it. What a degen concept. People should revolt against this non-sense.
Installing mine on a 43" today. Been hoping I'd come across someone who's already been able to do so on that size TV. Thank you for letting me know it's possible!
Thanks for the content. I was looking all over for this! Hope govee makes this for smaller tvs
I got it to work on my 50 inch tv thanks to this video ❤
Thanks for creating this. Was concerned about installing onto smaller TV. Thank you! ❤
Great video man, you save me

Did it fit on your 50" or did you have to do it like the video??
@@smgjr89 I had a better solution. I swapped my 50" for a 53" in the same model because it was only £10 more 😂👍

No, you can't as the there set length for each perimeter of the tv.
