As a 12 year old I remember being there - also remember being at Anfield in 77 - good times come to those that wait - euro 16 was awesome and there is more to come - fantastic youth coming through
What a great winger Terry Yorath was, especially during his time with the great Leeds United of those days. It would have to take someone special to replace the great Eddie Gray in that Leeds side and Yorath was that special someone! I recently watched a short documentary about Terry and cried myself when he recalled, with tears in his eyes, how his teenage son collapsed and died before his eyes in the garden of their own home. I have nothing but respect for Terry and his family!
The Hungary v Wales away match is also available on RUclips, but does anyone have any other Welsh match highlights from this era such as the Wales v Hungary or Wales v Luxembourg home matches please? Thanks in advance.

Memorable night
That looks like it was a hell of a night up north, the Racecourse must have been bouncing.Great to see one of my boyhood heroes in action once again.
Good to see a different camera angle of Cae Ras!
Great welsh midfield Yorath, Flynn and Stoke legend John Mahoney
Yorath, Toshack, Flynn and James were great players
James the most talented, and Yorath, Flynn and Mahoney had heart

I think in the Group Wales beat Hungary in Budapest 2-1,first team to do so for a long time

I remember Ian evans at school... Brilliant player.
Still the only Welsh team to top their qualifying group, I believe.
