I spend hundreds of dollars every year on annuals to fill all my pots and I've never paid that close attention to the different varieties within the plants - like petunias. I have so many 'ah-ah' and "ohhhhh' moments while watching your videos. Thank you so much for doing this. I thank you. My pots thank you. Also - I very much appreciate the shoutout to the midwest. We get a bad wrap sometimes of being very boring!!
Thank you,I always need to have refresher coarse with planting hanging baskets, love your combinations.I do live in the high humity 88 yesterday and 90'today,Springfield Ohio 6a thank you!!!!🌷🌷🌷
The breadth of your plant knowledge astounds me! Thank you for imparting that knowledge in a fun and useful way that empowers me. And I agree with you - -gardening is an experiment every year! We learn from our successes AND failures.
This was the best ever what does well under these conditions, look pretty together etc...hanging basket or just plain container video. Stopping by the nursery to freshen up a couple of pots today. 💚🌿🌸
I am so impressed by your talking skills. There are no "umms" and "ahhhs" in your presentation. Your brain works so clearly. And you talk faster than I can process. My brain works about 10 times slower. You must have ideas zooming around constantly in your head. Wow.
Thank you for another informative video. Would love for you to do a video on planting flowers from seed. Like nasturtium zinnia. Cosmos. Poppies. Easy to start from seed ideas. Thank you 🌷🌷🌷
I need a video every day from you dear laura , with every video i fall in love with gardening a bit more and with you of course . Greetings all the way from tunisia
Must. Have. All. The. Things!!! After seeing this video, I’m going to try some of these plants in my landscape, instead of just in my containers. Thanks for the inspiration, Laura! 😍🙌🏼
I’ve just found your channel and I’m in love with your videos and awesome ability to absolutely wow me each time. I love the information as well as the calming and fun loving way you present your videos. The fact that you don’t uh and umm all the way through is just a beautiful added bonus for us all. Thanks and God bless
I am in Conroe Texas, where most of the growers here lost everything to the freeze. This year I am seeing proven winners sold for the first time! Picked up a huge beautiful "Fruit salad" mixed basket😁
Thank you so much for this particular series of videos! I've tried, failed, & been successful in trying different containers. My biggest problem was the sun, particular soil, & watering frequency. This will be a HUGE HELP 💐😊🍄🌱🌞!!! Much love to you all!
Because of you my failures are not as saddening. I chalk it up and now go on. The times I have tried to nurse something that was just put in the wrong place...sigh. This is such a great place to learn.
The work you put into your house is amazing. It gives me the inspiration to do my garden the same way. I really don't know what I am doing but it always turns out amazing and beautiful. It's all about trying new things.
My Mother’s Day gift is to go to the local nursery to pick out plants for my hanging baskets. This will be my second year doing them and I am so excited!
My Mother's Day tradition is always a garden center visit as well. There is one large garden center here that has a Mother's Day celebration with free food and entertainment. I usually park the kids at the food/entertainment area and go off with my mom to shop. We've been going for about 10 years. I can't imagine Mother's Day any other way now.
Thanks for the informative video Laura. I look forward to these professional videos every day with my morning coffee. Time to head to the garden center to do a little shopping. You and Aaron are the best. Thanks again. ❤️🙏
An impressive volume of useful info in one vid, on how to plan for success, when designing plant combinations for either hanging baskets, pots on our decks, or arranging annuals in our garden beds!
One of my favorite videos ever. I have lots of these Proven Winners on my patio now They will be placed in containers all over our small property. Thanks for the ideas
My boyfriend bought a house last fall so I finally get to decorate a porch and I'm so excited, we already bought a bunch of flowers and pots, just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit, I'm so excited to get planting!! I'm so inspired now!!! 😍
That's one of the things I love about annuals, experimenting with different combinations. I have the day planned to do just that, thanks for the inspiration.
Excellent advice, Laura...a good refresher-reminder for me even after many years of flower gardening! I enjoy container gardening so much every year. Thanks so much!
This was AWESOME. The flower mix and suggestions great. I understand the PW support, but too like the help they will give, at least in ideas. Thank you!
You have no idea how much I appreciate the videos that you make and share. They are so informative and I just love seeing all of the art that goes into your work (you are truly talented with plants; such an artistic eye) and to share your ideas and creations is very much appreciated. Thank you!
Thank you!! My tag got washed away during a flash flood of the Superbells Doublette Love Swept. I’ve never had that before and I simply adored it! I want to get more of that this year for sure and I too had all white planter with center plant that was like a firework. I’ll be getting that again too once I rewind the video to write down what it was🤣.
Complete dense shade for my planters. I wish that I had more sun, but one works with the light available. I use houseplants as well as impatiens (love white impatiens, adds bright pop to dark shade) and coleus for color. Snake plant as a spike interest, Diffenbachia with its green and white striping, and chartreuse yellowish trailing philodendron.
I learned a very good trick....sonfar it has really really heloed this yearin my HEAT zones where i could not have any baskets......get a bigger basket and put those cheap cellulose sponges.from dollar store in the lining..it keeps the water from draining out IMMEDIATELY...
Hi Laura! We just built a new garage and was contemplating what plants to put in my planters. So appreciative of this video. So helpful! Just the info I've been looking for!! Thanks for all the help!!❤️❤️
I am always so inspired! I am excited to try the diamond frost and superbells in the landscape as I am increasing my beds - this will look some amazing!! Thank you for these excellent ideas and tips 🌸🌼🌺
Hi from sunny Minnesota the upper "midwest"..... We love your suggestions and all the knowledge you bring us. Proven winners are the bomb..... Can't wait to plant here and use some of the flowers you show. Hi to aaron and benjamin.....
Love this video and the way you broke down the different plants and sun needs. The color combinations are spectacular and can't wait to see what you come up with....I love your excitement - it's contagious!!! :-)
I always love your videos! You turned me on to PW Supertunia and Superbells for my containers and I've never looked back! I'm zone 7 and my house is on top of a hill so I get a little bit of everything in terms of light exposure. My neighbors are always asking how I come up with my ideas and I tell them "follow Garden Answer! She's amazing!". Seriously, thank you for the information and inspiration. :)
Thank you so much. You were extremely helpful with all your vast information/knowledge. I finally got my 2nd Covid shot 2 weeks ago and ready to get started on some more plants/flowers. I love your videos and so thrilled I "found you" online! Your Garden areas are beautiful! God bless
Stunning beautiful. For potato wine that likes to be consistently wet I would add baby diapers in the soil (the gel from inside of diapers) and pair it with impatience flowers and fuchsia.
You are amazing, your videos are amazing, you inspire me sooo much. its been raining here so hard the last few days (yaya i know its good but i just want to plant and be outside!!) you are an inspiration, i hope i can meet you one day
Hi Laura and Aaron, thanks again for another very well produced video. What are you guys going to plant in the hayracks in front of your property? I think most of us can’t wait to see what you are gonna do there!
Great comprehensive video, thanks for all the info, and thank you for introducing me to supertunia Bordeaux. I love that plant and so does my daughter! ❤️
Hello, I am fond of your videos, learning. I live in Milton Ontario, cold Country Canada 🇨🇦. Summer is too short but love gardening and Houseplants. Thanks for sharing. Zz.
Hello I am Sarika Vasava. Thank you for sharing very good information dear. I am very happy to see you. I love this all plant like pituniya and Jireniyam.
I can't wait to do my first hanging baskets. Last winter I did my first ever urn planters for Christmas. I'm held back because I had surgery last week on my broken arm so I have to do everything left-handed for a few months.
Yea, I tried the vine with my petunias last year. Most of the vines died, but a couple did survive to give a nice looking window box. I had a deep purple petunia in the window boxes and it really stood out. Even my neighbors complemented on nice it looked. I am trying a few new things this year with the wave petunias in hanging baskets.
My flower pillows arrive this week & I’m so excited. I have 3 self watering containers for them, thanks to all your great advice! Hopefully, this will be a successful year of containers and I might use this advice to try a hanging basket too!
So many beautiful colors! Could you do a video on climbing vines? Something for pots perhaps. Thank you for all your wonderful content!! Inspirational!
Do you realize how inspirational you are?!?! 🥰🥰🥰
I totally agree. She is amazing I can watch her all the time
