- Hey guys! I hope you enjoy this tour of our 2 acre property. We have raised rabbits, goats, turkey, chickens, quail, pigs, geese, and pigeons. We have downsized quite a bit as we could fit soo much and it was getting to be too much work for 2 people! I still have my 2,000 sq. ft. vegetable garden, a small orchard, almost 40 varieties of fruit! I also have a good size herb garden, a beautiful sunflower patch, a small "forest" of pine trees, and we still have so much room left! So, if you have ever felt like 2 acres isn't enough to start a homestead, this video will show you how much we have been able to do with a limited space. Your dreams of having a homestead are possible!
Cute cats 🐈⬛ 😊
This is the dream thank you for showing me
Seems you are a good farmer 👍
Just subscribed! We have 2.5 acres and a lot of homesteading content is for backyard homesteads less than 1/2 an acre or for 10+ acres of land. I am excited to get ideas for how much we can do with our space! We started an orchard, about 1,000 sq. ft garden, and got backyard chickens this year! So excited to follow along with your homestead!
Thanks for watching!
Loved the tour of your place. Gave me some ideas of some things I might want to do next year😊
Glad to help! Thank you for watching!
Very cool, love your property.
Thank you!
Awesome homestead!!
Thanks!
Hey I found you from our Facebook group! Your property is beautiful 😍 Those paprika peppers are amazing! Thanks for sharing 💜
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! I appreciate your support! I post a new video every week. ☺️ I also have “the homestead adventure” podcast if you like homesteading podcasts.
You look so beautiful ❤
this is beautiful. can't wait to get mine going. Be careful with the paw paw fruit. It's can possibly make you sick, even if it does taste delicious to you. I'm from Ohio and I wouldn't put a taste bud on it.
I didn’t know this about pawpaws, thank you!
You can grow ashwaghanda in your climate? That's pretty cool. Do you make tea from the leaves or something?
I grow it as an animal here, but I start the seeds indoors a few months ahead of time. The roots are what you use. I make tinctures with it mostly and sell it in my online shop.
Nice
Your blueberries might need more acidic soil.
Yes they do. I’m going to replant this year and I need to do something different
The Homestead Adventure please show how You kill a rooster
Yeah, she seems too kind and cool for this but I think she can
