Delivering Dan Bilzerian's Chess Set

- Get a first hand look into Dan's Bel Air estate, the delivery/set up of this commission, and see his reaction when he receives this awesome birthday present.
This to date, is the most in depth and wildest project I've had the pleasure of making! I was commissioned back in January by Dan's brother to make a customized chess set for his December Birthday gift, as Dan is an avid and regular player. He wanted solid bronze & fully hand sculpted pieces, making them all relevant to Dan's lifestyle. I brought in a very close friend David Schultz and master sculptor, we worked together all year and created this amazing totally one-of-a-kind chess set!
Each piece weighs over 2lbs! There are two different patina colors used to distinguish playing sides, the darker side is dubbed "Vegas" and the lighter gold color is dubbed "LA".
I designed and built the table and chairs in house, all in solid claro walnut and the best European leather money can buy. The cushions are also custom with diamond stitching along with different layers of foam & densities. Each outside panel is re-sawed & book matched from 8/4 slab material, the leg insides are completely hollow with ebonized interiors, and they're on 800lb Hudson bearing low profile ball transfer units.
The table is constructed from solid claro walnut slabs, hot rolled steel and solid bronze. The goat logo is water jet cut, suspended through the slabs and steel upright to give a floating appearance. The playing surface is claro veneer laminations with lasered in squares, claro concave boarder with Wenge splines.

Yeah the naked women as “pawns” was a real classy touch! Almost as pretentious as it is gaudy. The workmanship is exceptional nonetheless.

It is beautifully done. Not the biggest fan of the design but your work is stunning! I wish he gave you more respect than what was shown in the video.
I don't know anything about this man but I am hoping he showed more respect to you and the work you put into this build than what was shown in the video. The least he could have done was put his plate down and looked at what was just given to him.

The table is fine, looks really good. But the pieces are ugly as hell, honestly it completely ruins the rest of it. Other than the fact there's 8 of the 'pawns' the pieces have no identity that tells you what the hell they are, why is the plane a bishop and the tortoise a knight? Why are the rooks some weird shape?
