@@Spegtacular much better now that we have just reached 70% double vaccinated, reopening non-essential businesses on Monday , aiming at 80% double vaccinated by December 2021 when we can resume overseas travel etc, Life is still very good here in Australia (Born and educated in Texas I feel I can make a direct comparison) and I have no complaints we are ‘bloody lucky’ Be cautious of all of the fake news out there!
This looks like a great, clean shop!! It's not cluttered with stacks of magazines and piles of pens, like most. I wish Mark all the best and I'm sure his shop will be a great success!!

This is less than a 5 minute drive for me and I met Mark last week at a coin show. I'm def headed to the shop at some point.
I’m an Eagle Scout and the coin collecting merit badge really sparked my interest along with my grandpa. Love your work and learning from your videos thank you
I myself am an Eagle Scout as well. The coin collecting merit badge was also my inspiration to get into the hobby. Will always be my favorite merit badge. My mom told me that if my grandad had lived to see me, he would’ve loved to sit down with me and go through coins and such. He used to have a large collection, but unfortunately 99% was stolen by my aunt’s friend when they were little and was spent as money. My mom let me have left of what she had from it which wasn’t really anything of value, but just for the sake of saving what my grandad had, I will always hold on to them. Just a few clad Kennedy’s and Eisenhowers, a wheat penny in one of those good luck charm holders, a token of President Truman, and the best thing being a Liberty V nickel. Like I said, it’s really nothing of value, but I wanna save what I can of my grandad’s.
That was a fun shop tour. I haven't encountered many coin shops that also deal in general collectibles. Kinda different. Thanks for sharing that!
Great shop. We just now started putting out silver items for sale in the pawn shop. Nearly sold everything I had in 2 weeks. People are buying like crazy right now. Surprisingly enough people are also melting every time it drops

Hi SPECTACULAR , neat new shop, good luck to him. I was a Cub and Boy Scout many years ago, 60 years ,I had started collecting coins but just from change, then went for the coin collecting Merit Badge, that got me into Type coins. I still have them and occasionally add to that set still. Thanks, Bill

There was a badge when I was a Scout , not sure if it still exist. There was a book for each badge as well.
It still exists. I just became a counselor for it. It was the first merit badge I earned.

I was a boyscout, but stopped short of eagle
Love the shop. It gives me a good look at how to maybe set up a shop I am wanting to open in a couple years after getting some inventory together.
I would suggest doing shows first...before you decide to actually make the commitment to open a shop. I"m a dealer in collectibles (not coins) and we do shows and ebay. I used to thought I'd want to open a shop/gallery (as we deal in art too)...but then I decided I didn't feel like paying;
1.Rent
2. Utilities
3.Security
4. Baby-sitting it
5. Having to trust employees
6. Pay insurance
7. Coin guy has a gun...and looking more than happy to use it...are you willing to do that?
7. Need I go on? Not trying to bust your dream...but I hope you've considered all that....the above is why we just stick with ebay and shows...

I Was A Boy Scout in 1973 out of Waterford New York. I loved every moment I was in it. A boy could not go wrong back then with the Boy Scouts. Thank the shop pointer for what he does. I enjoyed your seeing more coin shops, although I do miss you with coin guy. Love the video

Hopefully he dose well. I wrote up a mission statement for myself to open a coin shop / bullion shop and collectibles. So it’s nice to see people are still opening up coin shops even with the internet and online purchasing. I truly do hope his business dose well . The only new shop in my area that opened recently turned out to be a set for Hawaii Five 'O. It's called "Sand Dollar Pawn Shop" and it's by the old Queen Theatre on Waialae. I was a bit disappointed.

There is a huge difference between America and just the US.
I'm a former Boy Scout with a small collection of stuff. Nice to see a market for early 1970's national stuff. Then I joined the Coast Guard. My favorite joke is "What is the difference between the BSA and USCG?" The answer is Adult Leadership, that's not to say the Coast Guard does not have great leadership it does and yes there are a lot of kids and the Coast Guard that needs adult leadership it's just that in the Boy Scouts we knew we were kids period instead of just high school graduate whippersnappers

Nice shop a good inspiration that you opened last month. Plus my initials are MG too. I was in Cub and Boy Scouts for a few years each. I believe Cub was a Catholic thing in Chicago in the 80s. I remember they loved promoting Genesis the Phil Collins band when it was popular. Thanks for another one Speg. Is Coin Guy coming out to your non member channel this Friday? Correction that was Awana’s for the Catholic thing that I did plus Cub and Boy plus can’t forget all the sports teams as a lil one.
