Hi there, Laura & Jesse! The wicker 3 ring upright stand is from about the 60s or 70s and it’s a hand towel holder! It would look good painted white or whatever color you want! Thanks for letting us go along with y’all on your thrifting trips! 😍🥰❤️

The wire sheep on a wooden handle was for hanging floor rugs out on the clothes line and beating the ground in dirt out of them. This was before vacuum cleaners, not to say I’m that old but my grandma used them on the farm!

Hello Laura and Jesse, I do enjoy and appreciate when you show your haul after your thrifting trips. The way you arrange your wonderful finds on your credenza is just so awesome to watch.Keep it up!❤
The glass vase with the peaches on it is a Murano glass piece that has a Tutti Frutti pattern on it. I have a piece from this collection. I can’t believe someone painted over that.
I believe the two cream minimalist bowls are Hanselmann Pottery from New Mexico. I have a couple of their pieces and while I've never seen that design, I recognized the signature. Great find!
The wire piece is most likely a newer piece, loosely designed after an antique rug-beater. I've actually thrown an old carpet over a clothesline and used one of the original ones. If not that effective on getting the dirt out, they are great for alleviating aggressions. ;D
I feel like we pick up such similar items when thrifting and yours always looks so gorgeous styled and sells so quickly and then mine sits in my FBMP shop for ages! 😂 that first display you set with with the yellow book, purple candle holders, and the embroidered art piece- I mean wow! Stunning!
I think that you and Andyb went to the same goodwill at different times and got matching seed pod vases! Just a theory but in Andy's video that just came out today she thrifted an almost identical vases at a Goodwill which seems like too much of a coincidence!

You two make pickin fun, I have watched a lot of picker channels on youtube but maybe only once or twice, but you two along with lady marybeth are my favorites a class in yourselves.
Kia ora from New Zealand Laura and Jesse. I just want to say thank you. The passion you both have for mid-century styling is a joy to watch and feel part of. You are a natural teacher, Laura. Watching your videos I have learnt so much about how to look at vintage and antique items, think about decor, and styling it. Although I did cringe the first time I heard you say 1980s and '90s items are now vintage, as these were my school years. I know quite a lot about vintage and antique clothing and jewelry as I used to work in a theatrical costume department and public hire, but nothing about decor. Nearly ten years ago, I inherited a large estate hoard from my parents and their parents and their various siblings who had died prior and left items to my parents. My parents married in 1952. While most furniture pieces were either early or later 20th century, much of the decor items dated from the 1950-60s. I never really liked the mid-century decor when I was younger and as a result when I inherited them, I used the items more because pragmatically they were what I had. Watching your videos has given me a new 'eye' when I look at these now, and an appreciation for the beauty of some of what I have inherited. Well, that and friends offering to buy the dinner set I use every day. I had not previously realised it is Crown Lynn which is very collectable in New Zealand. I have said they can have it when I find a replacement set that's more me. I have no idea what else in my cupboards and on the shelves (or still in storage) is 'desireable' but I have now started learning about their artistic origins. I am particularly looking forward to setting up the Christmas tree this year and looking at the vintage and antique ornaments I have. For the first time in my life I am learning about what I like and what my own decor taste actually is, and so what to keep and what to let go to someone else who will value that item more than I ever will. Consequently, encouraged by your example, I no longer feel I am just continuing to sort the seemingly endless hoard in manageable 'bites', but am slowly changing my mother's home that I inherited and live in, into my home. 🥝👋👋💖🤗
Love this. It's all ditto for me! I didn't like the 70s decor in the 70s but watching laura "style it up" I can see the beauty in so many things, now, in ways I couldn't before.

You have inspired me! I recently had much needed renovations done on my house and after watching your videos I challenged myself to thrift all my decor. It has been so much fun, and with a little research I have found amazing vintage pieces for the tiniest fraction of their current value. Here's what has happened at my local Goodwills, and I wonder if it's nationwide or local. First, the stores stopped providing bags. You can purchase GW branded totes for $1.49 or bring your own bags. Problem is, it happened without warning. Now, months later, also without warning even their employees, they removed the rolls of paper for wrapping breakables. If you don't happen to have clothes in your cart or wrappings in your car, you're stuck. All this while raising prices. I love the treasure hunt of shopping GW, but now I question their mission more than ever.
I think the brown bowl that was signed on the bottle is something much more significant than what you would expect. It looks like it is made with the medium they used to use called sewer tile. They are primitive pieces made by employee's who would use the leftover clay from making sewer piping. I really feel it is .. I'd look further into it because it could be quite a bit more valuable than you'd ever guess.
