    Hi Ryan .. awesome build .. the connection boxes on both sides of the stage is the same we did in our studio .. you can plug everything everywhere and it will run .. we also use the same Controll Board and Camera Controller. Our "Basic" Setup is quiet simple .. 4 Monitors - 1 for Countdown/ Time, 1 for Teams and 1-2 for Powerpoint (Main Slide and Presenter View if needed) - 1 BMD Studio fixed and 2-3 manned Cams .. for Light Controll we use a Grand MA 3 .. The Controll Room is a bit jam Packed with all the Main Controlls and 4-6 Teams "Drohnes", 1 Main Broadcast NB (Teams) a Countdown Timer NB and up to two PPT NB. Videos are provided via Q-Labs .. Sound goes from all NB and 12 Wireless Mic into a A&H Q16 ..
    I really like your builds and tours ..

    It's cool. I am surprised that in a new installation you have not opted for some sort of IP video (2022, 2110 or at least NDI)

      The main thing for the client was being able to use anything and roll in what you need, there’s cat6a everywhere and 12g sdi everywhere so if they wanted to run sdi or ndi there they can. But they do use Blackmagic cameras ordinarily so sdi makes sense for the most part for them. This part was mostly about getting cables everywhere

    Fab video! What's the SDI cctv camera you're using for the snoop camera? I'm currently using a bunch of BMD 4K Studio Mini's for that job at my work and they are wasted for that use case, so on the look out for a better solution. Thanks in advance, and great to see this install :)

      geni.us/IMkJrc Here you go :) cheap, nasty, super wide and does the trick! and works pretty well in little to no light too

    How did you run HDMI with the limits on how far you can run an HDMI signal ? Or is everything SDI?

    • @RyanSomerfield
      @RyanSomerfield  8 месяцев назад +1

      most of the hdmi runs are fiber so it could run 4k60 over this length. basically most screen has a hdmi run to the desk/rack and a sdi to hdmi option

    Lohnt sich der Kauf des Blackmagic Television Studio 4k8 oder ist die alte Version besser?????
