Bring him so close to the edge that we as the viewers, will be forced to wonder if he'll fully slip and become a villain or not.
They've stuck pretty close to the books so far, can't see them deviating that much. If you haven't read the books, you really should. They're a real treat.

That's one of the reasons she liked Reacher, because he never propositioned or flirted or even tried to touch her (She hates being touched and he understood it, instantly.).

I've never healed from that wound, yet I have faith that if folks could look past a few scars and truly see that damage, it would horrify them.... Stay strong brother, they may call on us again....

Shot down twice, couldn’t save his best friend, became a prisoner of war. We heard his war stories until he died at age 85. We loved hearing them. He said it helped him to talk about it. Maybe you could find someone to talk to about your war experiences. It does help to talk about it. Take care, God bless you.

Their chemistry is so strong but Neagly loves him but she doesn't love him if that makes sense. She respects him and they get along because she's the only woman that can talk to Reacher and basically say shut the hell up you're wrong

I always hate this trope. Why have a character that's just so much better than the main and not follow her around instead? At least Mycroft had the flaw that he was too unfit to do the physical aspects of Sherlock's investigations, Neagley is just objectively better than Reacher at everything
I’m really surprised that the casting for this actress. She does a great job, but she’s 5‘10“ tall. Reacher is supposed to be 6’5”, and I believe Ritchson is 6’2”. It would’ve made more sense to pick a much shorter actress.
