After the spearfishing world championships wrapped up in Spain, Hannah and I headed to see my friend Mig in the South of France. It just so happened Ryan Myers was there at the same time so we had to go for a dive together...well we kind of went for a sunset wine tour with a little bit of spearfishing. After France we're off to Croatia so stay tuned for those videos coming out soon.

@michelkerger9582 I guess both are correct. One lives in a country. One has a dinner in a city. One lives in the coastal regions of an area. I always say I dive in the sea or in the ocean. Not on the ocean or on the sea.

Would love if you stopped here in Slovenia🇸🇮, I am spearfisherman from here, now is gilthead seabream season. We have only 40km of cost and quite specific style of spearfishing.
We stopped in Slovenia to see some of the famous sites but not for spearfishing. Would be nice to go back sometime, it’s a beautiful place.

Now you can have an idea how hard to spearfishing in the Mediterranean, next time try Tarifa en spain, that is the fish Paradise.
I have done a lot of spearfishing in the Mediterranean and love the challenge. I was near Tarifa last year around Cape Trafalgar, lots of fish for sure.
Great video. At 4:22 , the diver looks like he is wearing a neck weight. Does it stay in place when duck diving?
I think it must go up the neck a bit but once you're on the bottom it's probably fine. I use one when free diving in a pool.
I know this might be a stupid question but what do you consider shallow, intermediate and deep?
For me anything over 25m is getting deep. It’s a subjective term really. Everyone has different benchmarks and also conditions. Diving in 3m vis and 14°C in the U.K. on the wreck in 28m is significantly harder for me than a 28m dive in the Mediterranean with 26°C water and 30m vis.

The corb and grouper are forbidden in France. Probably could have taken a sargo of course but if you want a dentex you can’t shoot sargo 😎
@@DanielManni know your main goal is usually dentex 😂 I'm glad you're coming to my home country Slovenia but sadly we have very little sea/fish but i think you'd be interested in some videos of my fellow Slovenian Jure Daic (he's a true sniper) but he mostly dives in Croatia... Worth the watch trust me 😊
