I really, really like this game. Probably my second favorite on the Switch after BotW. But sometimes, if battles don't go my way I need a little break to cool down a bit. 😂

I expected this game to be a 6/10 "Meh-fest", but it turned out great. I Picked it up after work on Friday, no regrets. The music is great, the battles are fun and more tactical than I expected. It's just utterly charming too. Far, far better than I expected and definitely in the top 5 Switch physical games :)
The music was done by Grant Kirkhope, he is most known for his work with RareWare, fantastic soundtracks

Honestly might be my favorite Switch game. I freaking LOVE strategy RPGs and this is one of the better ones out there.
Play style is like xcom. xcom is hard core crazy, this is crazy fun + chaotic.
I don't like strategy games and I don't like the Rabbids. Can't wait to pick this up!

I had ZERO interest in this game. Then I heard early positive reports so I pre-ordered it an I have zero regrets. *In Jay voice* That's a really good game.
This was one of my first Switch games. I was completely new to strategy games and Rabbids, but everyone was recommending this, so I got it. I just completed the main story mode and enjoyed it so much that I started the DK DLC. Still a GREAT game in 2020!
The hype was real for this game and so far it has not disappointed. It has been fantastic.

My only gripe is the team comp limitations. I wish I was fully free to design my team, instead of Mario + any Rabbid + (your choice). Other than than, fantastic game!

This game has blown me away. This is the game that convinced me I wanted a switch and I can't believe it's even better than I expected. My only complaint is not being able to play versus friends online that would've made it a 10/10 game for me.

You may have just sold me on this game. I have been skeptical, but it sounds really good. A lot deeper than I anticipated.
I overlooked this game at first when I first bought my switch about 3 months ago because I largely hate turn-based games with few exceptions(pokemon). But after being super excited for Paper Mario Oragami King, despite its turn-based gameplay, it made me rethink overlooking this game solely for its turn-based play. I definitely like the strategy aspect, because of my love for puzzles, but just not the slowness of turn-based gameplay. Probably gonna wait for a $15 sale though just incase
This game is definitely a sleeper hit. I was 45 hours into Disgaea 5 and bought Kingdom Battle. Loaded it up just to see the intro and now I can't stop playing it to go back to Disgaea (which has also been a load of fun).
It's not only the gameplay, but the entire production and presentation that knocked it out of the park. Cut scenes, animations, and soundtrack are all super polished.
Bought the game with all the bonus dlc for just 10$ a couple months back. Didn't think I would like it but wasn't worried since I mean it was 10 dollars. It was way more fun than I expected. Never in my life have I played a videogame like this and man I'm glad I chose to dive into it!

I just got this game for my son and i got it for $19.99 and he hasn't played it yet he's not home yet but i think he is going to like it ...
I wasn't going to buy this game till I listened to some of the sound track. I thought, damn this sounds like Banjo Kazooie music, then I realized it was made by the same guy who make Banjo's music so I was sold. And not disappointed at all, this game is very fun.
This and splatoon 2 are by far my favorite games on the switch that I've played. By far.
I really want to get Mario + Rabbids and I plan to at some point this year but It has been set back due to me saving up for a 2DSXL as I have never owned a 3DS or 2DS and I feel like I am missing out on to many amazing games, so hopefully later this year I shall be playing Mario +Rabbids :)

I bought a switch for my then 7 and 4 year olds. Every child needs Nintendo memories! I got Mario Kart and this Rabbids game as part of the bundle.
My 7 year old played this game for about half an hour before losing all interest. He stuck with Mario Kart instead and has since moved on to the Crash Bandicoot trilogy.
So rather than it being a waste of money I played the Rabbids game. That was it for me. I was hooked from the start and my PS4 was pushed aside for a period. This game is definitely one of the best switch games I've played. I hope it gets a sequel and creates a new series for the Mario characters away from the usual Mario games that get churned out every console generation.

Would you say difficulty is okay for 9 year olds
I hate turned based strategy games, and I was quite against getting this, but my eternal love for Mario and my boyfriend convinced me. I LOVE this game. I put odyssey and botw on hold to finish most of it. The only thing I dislike is multi player is difficult with people who haven't played the campaign because the controls and abilities aren't explained, not even an option for the game to run through it. Also, the controls seem very loose, but I got used to it after playing it for so long. Overall, definitely love.

EPS5000 I would like to know more about this game. Is it part of a series? I never played any one, but it got my attention because I really like this kind of game. I played a lot of Shining Force and that's why I am interested to buy Mario + Rabbids too
Disgaea 5 is a prequel to the series. Also on the Switch you get all the content offered as DLC on the PS4 version, included on the game card (hence the word "Complete" added to the title). Pretty much every other Disgaea game is only Sony devices (PS3, PS4, Vita) but one of the titles is also on the Nintendo DS. It's a good series and I highly recommend it.
I just finished this game and I gotta say it’s one of my favourite games on Switch. On top of that, the price of this game was a lot cheaper than other Mario games by Nintendo. Totally worth it.

The switch is my first Nintendo console I’ve bought myself, I had a ds and wii as a child so I knew I like Mario kart and Pokémon but now I’m trying out other things too, just won this for £18 on eBay looking forward to giving it a shot
Honestly shocked by how good this is. I love fire emblem, advance wars, shining force, and everything strategywise in between. That being said I wrote this off as babies first strategy game till I read some review. Now I'm just praying for dlc, or dare I hope, some vs multiplayer.

Really shows us that a good game will get famous or simply a classic by talking about it and i swear it makes me so happy to see all this love for this game because i was one of the first to support this game fully because i knew , i just KNEW the rabbids era wasn't over and could get as good as rayman+rabbids on the wii (the arena sort of one)...

Bought this game when it was on sale for $20 Canadian. Enjoyed this game as much as Mario U Deluxe, Odyssey, Luigi's Mansion etc. Fun game to play and planning on buying the DK expansion for it next time I play.

Probably my third favorite game on the Switch, behind BOTW and Splatoon 2. This is, however, the game I've been waiting for since I Am Setsuna. I Am Setsuna is a good turn-based RPG (though, admittedly, a completely different play style and theme), but M+R just feels more fun and thought out - going back doesn't feel tedious (and sometimes is even more fun than the first time), you know where to progress to, upgrading is easy, gameplay is challenging but not impossible - it's just a really good game.
I don't care for turn based games as well but this game is insanely good. Haven't put it down since launch day!!! Replayability is super high. Thanks Wood for another honest review.

This game was addicted and it was the first switch game I got for my switch, then I got zelda, then I got the zelda DLC, then I realized I could of got the pixle pack for this game, no regrets
I have to agree. I almost didn't by this game, but it's easily the second best game on the switch. It's definitely the first Ubisoft game I've enjoyed in years. I don't even care for strategy games but this game has its hooks in me. It feels like a 1st party Nintendo game and the cutscenes are some of the best I've seen from the big n. This is a must buy in my opinion. I'm just glad my preconceived notions didn't get the best of me.
