Van Sliding Door Open Warning Light FIXED

This video will show you how to fix false Door Open messages on your Ducato's dashboard warning system. All you need is a bit of self-adhesive tape to secure the door-position sensor.

I LOVE YOU!!! Ive spent hours at the "rear" doors testing cables, plugs, sensor etc trying to fix this problem. Why the hell they cound not call it the "sliding" or "side" door is beyond me. Thank you👍

We are having this same problem! The doors won’t lock when this is going on either! We took it to the dealer and they wanted us to order a new door! Definitely going to try this! Thank you!!

I did the above, adjusted the door etc but it kept on coming back. Take the sensor off (on the vehicle, not the door), then remove the smaller cable. Central locking and everything works as normal.

And when the sensor in the sliding door bay is faulty fitted it gives a REAR doors open signal??
