    Does inspector ask question about active shooter and medical emergency scenarios in onsite testing

    • @Greedonlife

    GREAT video! Learned alot. Scenario Question that I think I failed: A guard is on lunch-break and I'm holding their post. An engineer calls to inform me that he smells smoke in the basement where he's at. At the same time a fire alarm goes off on the 3rd floor. What do I do? I answered; I report to FCS and contact the engineer. Tell him to investigate the smoke smell as quickly as possible then report to the FCS. I try to radio the guard to return to post and follow normal procedure after that. Please any suggestions....

    • @Greedonlife
      @Greedonlife  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching. I would say that that the first thing in every scenario is reporting to the fcs. The scenario itself doesn’t change the process. It still requires you to work from the fcs not matter what the situation. I hope that helps if not shoot me another comment or question and I’ll help as much as I can. Again thanks for watching and share if you know anyone that needs to hear this information

      @@shaivanen1903 Sorry. And yes I did call 911. Maybe I was rushing when i wrote it. Thank goodness I did pass. The person giving it was an ass. The next one was cool as hell. So FD don't want to mention it but sometimes it depends on the person. The way of the world.

    Quick qs brother in phase 1 n phase 2 recall now after phase 1 is done do I take the key with me along to the evelator car I'm put on fireman service and use it or have a separate spare key and leave one in the key panel on recall

    • @Greedonlife
      @Greedonlife  3 года назад

      Two keys. This way you can return one back into normal service after phase one has been achieved

    Dumb question to ask but here I go making an all call announcement and making an announcement in building both different how they done ?

    • @Greedonlife
      @Greedonlife  3 года назад +1

      All call is a general announcement of the conditions. Affected floors would get an announcement that is specific to their condition such as direction of evacuation or relocation. Hope that helps.

    Can you get hired as a Fire Safety Director without passing the tests?

    • @Greedonlife
      @Greedonlife  5 лет назад +3

      Jenny Titus you can work as an acting fire safety director without passing the on site exam. However you must pass the written exam in order to obtain the certificate of completion. That would allow you to work as an acting fsd as long as you have an on site scheduled.
