i wonder if bridgets at high level are starting to change strategy, it seemed like recently a lot people tried to do her like happy chaos where she'll intentionally drop combos to keep you in the corner for a reset, but it seems like crillou will just put you through the wall as soon as they get the chance LOL
i think it works, maybe they are just a particularly aggressive Bridget

I really was tempted to play this game before watching this video. Either play that blue guy or let the game play out and find a good match for myself.
But this? How is this balanced? That blue guy was going *ham* on the other person- I thought they were doing a load of damage there. Then they other person hit them once and my eyeballs flew out of my head when I saw the health bar go down by like- the entire thing per hit. How is that balanced at all?

Simple, the blue guy can hit more, faster and from farther away.
Basically blue guy gets way more chances to open you up and hit you because their attacks reach way further and are way faster, that's why they do little damage in comparison
Meanwhile the other guy has slower attacks and not as much reach, therefore it is harder to get a hit but also the reward for hitting is way higher as you could tell
Fighting games are WAY more than just damage numbers, I could also point out how blue guy has sick okizeme and good mixups
Strive is actually quite balanced imo
