3:07 - 3:17, is reminiscent to Fairy Oddparents episode "Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary." Timmy/Hazel: I don't care if you have a Fairy Godparent, Remy (Dev). Remy/Dev: But I care if you do! My parents are never home. I never get to see them. Why should you have parents and godparents that love you, WHEN I DON'T!!!!
Hope they do give a New Wish a Season Two. There are so many other characters I'd like to see show up in this, like Trixie, Tootie, Chester, Juandissimo Magnifico, Remy Buxaplenty and if I dare say, even Chole. Also now that Peri (Poof) lost Dev he'll most likely be reassigned to a new Godkid, would be fun if his new Godchild is the child of a character from the original show.
I also wish to see Timmy Turner in season 2 I hope. Then it will shocking, surprising and lastly Cosmo, Wanda and Peri is going to have a difficult moment to focus if there going to see Timmy as an adult then Jorgen will be like "I know you missed Turner but I won't allow you to encounter him because I know you 3 missed a lot" then the complaints and difficult emotions breakdown and the Cosmo, Wanda, Peri and Jorgen will have to explain everything about Timmy Turner.
Memories, can be a fickle thing. Crocker never regained his memories of his Faries, but he was able to remind himself that Faries exists. I think, Dev and Dale will regain their memories somehow. He and Hazel will repair their relationship. While Dale, is chosen by Pixies for a new “business venture”. Something similar to when they used Slappy to take over Fairyworld.
I love how Poof was the ONLY one cursed with this "Reverse" claus...before it was "anti-" which made things easier to say rather having to explain who Foop was...R.I.P "Anti-Poof"
I still think the muffin and Hazel celebrating her 1st anniversary would have made a lot more sense. Her celebrating her millionth wish means she would have been making about 2700 wishes PER DAY!
Timmy kept his secret for a year yet he was still 10 years old like when he first got them lmao Even funnier is how they later justified it in-universe
That comment from Cosmo really hit deep. It's kind of old hat that what the 'bad guy' wants is the one thing that no amount of power can get them.....but it was used very well in this instance.

WAIT! At the end Before The mind wiping, You see that jorgan puts sunglasses on and that Hazel closes her eyes so their memories dont get wiped, But Dev always has his Sunglasses on, And when you look at their faces you can clearly tell Dale got his mind wiped, But dev looked Confused which to me makes me think it didnt work, Cause if jorgan is wearing sunglases to not get affected, Wouldnt the same thing apply for Dev?
True and Cosmo even hinted at it by saying Dev MIGHT remember deep deep down, which could be the writer's way of suggesting Dev's memories are probably partially repressed they could come back or because of the glasses he never forgot them to begin with
@@ishashifar Yea! That also does help with the theory if they get a S2 Dev remembering could become a Plot Point, Trying to be a better person becaus he knows the concequences and that his Dad will sadly never love him
Wait… when in first episodes Jorgen stripped Cosmo of his magic and wings, technically making him not a fairy, did Anti Cosmo also despawn for that time?
I really need a season 2. I have been loving Dev as a character and really hope that he can some way earn Peri back like how Remy got Juandissimo back. Because I think Peri can be a good Friend/ Prenatal figure that Dev can grow and learn from.
If I had to make a prediction, I believe Jorgan will set very strict decrees for the fact that Hazel's Brother and friends know about Fairies. It will probably go like, " You may have gotten your rule free wish granted, but that doesn't mean that it can't be reversed or undone by specific means. If any of them tells anybody about Cosmo, Wanda, Peri, or anything involving fairies being real or Fairy World, that person will lose their memory of fairies on the spot"
I think it was for the best to give more focus to dev and the anti-fairies instead of trying to shove another classic vilain at the last minute. Beside, they can always bring back the pixies some other time.
7:35 this still imagine with the context that peri’s first godkid not only locked him up, but also tortured him through magical build up to near death has to beyond traumatizing. And I love how the outro with peri is so very fairy oddparents like
That would be awesome because it would give them a valid reason to restore Timmy's memories of Cosmo and Wanda. Partly because of him being in danger from magical beings he previously fought, and partly because he's one of the people most experienced in stopping Pixies. Alternatively, we could watch as Hazel struggles to protect Timmy without him seeing her fairies or the Pixies, while Cosmo and Wanda go crazy trying to take out the Pixies before Timmy gets hurt. I think it could be a super good episode if they do it right.
…what if…and hear me out, the fatality of magic back up is the result of a wish. Like they somehow made it so fairies could go for longer without granting a wish, storing more magic in themselves than in the previous show, consequently making the still inevitable boom fatal.
I am Absolutely Happy and Thrilled to see not only Foop/Irep in the Season Finale of *The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish,* but I was also Super Thrilled to see Irep's Evil Parents and Cosmo and Wanda's Evil Longtime Archenemies and Worthy Adversaries, the Evil Villainous Leaders of the Anti-Fairies, Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda! I missed those two SO much from *The Fairly OddParents!* Television Series, from my Childhood!
I do kinda hope that maybe Peri want to go back to Dev. Even getting the fairy councils to have an meeting. Mainly due to him being raised around his parents never giving up on Timmy, might make him think that Dev could possibly change for the better so he wouldn't give up on him.
I hope we do get a Season 2. Dale has a lot of potential for the development he can have in the future that makes him into a better person as Season 1 did a good job showing this especially with the finale. But also with Hazel's rule free wish that broke the rules with her friends keeping their memories was an awesome thing for the team behind this to do. As with what was introduced with Season 1 and during the finale feels like an amazing start to what could lead into future story arcs for A New Wish.
Remember back when the Big Wand was powered by Crocker’s beliefs in fairies so Jorgon was keeping him…. Miserable and crazy to power fairy world? I remember that
I really like the detail that dev only turned dale's camera on when he said "devon dimmadome" so that people wouldn't know his first name is development
Hazel's wish that her friends and brother keep their memories... I wonder... if Hazel STILL considers Dev her 'friend' would that effect the memory wipe? And if so, would he try to seek Peri out to make amends?
I hope by Season 2, Hazel will patch things up with Dev once and for all and become friends with him again. I wonder if Dev will receive a new Fairy godparent?? Who will Peri be reassigned to?
I find it absolutely incredible just how much of a turnover the series has gotten from everyone dipping on it because of the new art style and characters to everyone absolutely adoring it😂😂
There was a Bible for A New Wish where Pixie's were gonna be the antagonist, and team up with Dale, while Hazel, and Dev (with Peri) stop him during Battle of the Big Wand.
The finale convinced me that Dev didn’t even suspect that Peri cared about him, and to be honest, after the episode with Irep, I’m not surprised, Peri behaved terribly there, he behaved as if Dev was his toy, which he doesn’t want to share, but at the same time he doesn’t want to play with this toy, the moment where Dev sits alone after Peri has driven away Irep, while Peri laughs with his parents, looks just like the moment where Dev’s father left with Irep in the finale, Dev is always left aside.
I think Peri's problem is lack of experience, Dev was his first godkid and a very difficult one. If he'd had more experience he might have handled Dev well. Dev and Peri's personalities complement well, so I truly do think they're compatible as godkid and godparent, they just both need some work.
5:59 fun fact. This 3 part episode used to play once a year on a certain holiday. Basically once a year I’d go to my grandmother’s for a few years in a row and it was always on at the same time. One time the tv went on a break saying “go play outside” and I just sat there waiting for the special to come back on. This was like 10 years ago…good times
A brilliant way they could keep on the series is doing a Big mouth kinda situation where they have spin offs focusing on the fairies giving like a the office vibe
I think in season 2, Dev kept his memories thanks to his shades; Peri didn't give up on him; I feel like Dev will get a second chance, and maybe Timmy will convince Jorgan he needs another chance. I mean, Timmy screwed up multiple times, the secret wish being one of his biggest. Maybe Dev protects Hazel's secret from the shadows.
A part of me was hoping that the season finale was all a part of Anti-Cosmo’s plan to take over the fairy world and the human one, but I have to say that this finale surprised me with how it resolved itself.
I’ll be honest, when I first heard this show was I announced I rolled my eyes , but when watching the show, the style is amazing and the animation is great and the story and characters are amazingly interesting
Ummmm...question since this was explored in secret wish. that episode shows that if Peri were to get unwished, Irep would get unwished too. So wouldn't Peri dying from magical build also kill Irep too ?
Well, this was one heck of a Finale, i really hope we get a Season 2, so we can see how things goes from here and so Characters that didn’t get to make a return yet gets to.
Yeah, that actually makes no sense considering Timmy was also wishing for Breakfast and getting him clean. Basic daily morning routine everyday to skip showers and such.
I hope they turn Timmy into something like a Movie star. Maybe he is a star going by the name BIg-T and plays roles in the crimson chin/crash nebula movies with him still having his memories of HIS fairies, due some wish mumbo-jumbo loophole with Dev revealing everything. and hazal wanting to meet Big-T wishing for it Timmy already knowing something is weird, plays a prank on them with "Fake Cameo Timmy", only for him to reveal himself, dropping it straight from the bag he is aware of hazel's faries, to Jorgan's anger, citing some obscure clause in da-rules, Like the Crazy crocker clause, where they used to power fairy magic all on Crocker's crazy obsession.
Just watched it and It was a fun watch man, it's like seeing old friends I have not seen in a while. I'll be down for more, I like what they did in the show and I hope they keep the same people worked on this show that maded it good and enjoyable as it is.
If They Do Get A Second Season, The Pixies Would Be Perfect Villains. Since They Play The Long Game And Have Conquered Fairy World Before. And Would Be Great To Pair With Dale.
I think the issue with Dale started back in the original series. Despite being locked in an underground lemonade stand for years, Doug Dimmadome (previous owner of the Dimmsdale Dimmadome!) didn't really bother find him until Dale wished for his father with the wish-granting lemonade. Like father like son, they didn't really care about their sons
Sense they're going the Infinity train route and throwing lore and angst into this show, i hope that (while not going too out of character) this misadventure would affect Peri in an extremely negative way to the point that he straight up wants a different god child ,like i love Dev and all he's my favorite character and i know he's a troubled kid that's processing a lot and as much as i want him to have a happy ending and as much as i love Dev and Peri as a duo , there's no way Peri left this episode being a-okay
One thing just does not make sense with the finale. Every fairy has an Antifairy. Fairies are gone due to magical backup, so that respective Antifairy should be gone as well. Peri was almost gone and yet Irep seems fine. Irep should've had some magical backup as well.
I love how they brought back Poof, Foop, anti Wanda, anti Cosmo and alot of other characters. But, where are the pixies?! They made a movie with the pixies trying to rule over Fairy world by using Flappy bob as a pawn. Hopefully they made a appearance
Hazel's wish as described would be a plot hole unless it undoes the entire rule as it's a 2 parter only half of which she addressed, they lose their memories AND Hazel loses her fairies so she should still lose her fairies but not the memories as worded Unless that was intentional and will be relevant to season 2
My hopes for S2 are 1) dale still has project h, realizes fairies are real and ends up making contact with pixies and they become the season antagonists but instead of taking over fairy world they do something different by creating new rules that stop fairies from interfering, basically the reverse of the anti fairies plan of break all rules. 2) dev has a real redemption arc, not like the, well written let's be clear, trampoline of being good, being bad of this season. And at the end accepts that his father loves only what profits him and betray him helping hazel and the gang save the day, thus proving he's a better person 3) dev glasses kinda protected him from mind wip magic a bit theory its real and he has some memories left that will return whole with time. 4) Dev ditches the glasses at the end, also destroys his father boots. 5) dev mom shows up, she's waaaay better than dale and in the finale she gets custody of dev 6) real Timmy turner appears, not the not timmy 7) more old villains make an appearance or a cameo, like Francis, negachin, norm or dark laser....also some for the good guys..like marc 8) more original antagonist that are going to stick around, like cookie 9) hazel finally meets her brother "best friend at college" wink wink 10) Fred whispers and james (I think that's the museum guy name) have an episode where they discuss some theory and at the end they understand their different point of views and learn to tolerate and understand each other more
I'm incredibly glad to see this franchise get a new fresh start in over a whole decade, they didn't try to milk this franchise even more especially with that sitcom in 2022 that was literally ran by someone who didn't watch the actual show and just went by what the company wanted, the old characters being brought back aging was a very great touch that isn't all too nostalgic baiting as they actually develop character development with these characters bringing new fans to enjoy this franchise, overall I'm pretty pumped to see a season 2 be greenlit which is something I'd never expect to say about a nick show, especially one that's been in incredible rough attempts at revitalization and is basically the second oldest nicktoons franchise still running even past the ending of the original show
Dev might be a clone.Theory: Dev Dimmadome is a Clone of His Father, Dale Dimmadome Introduction: In “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish,” Dev Dimmadome, the son of Dale Dimmadome, exhibits striking similarities to his father. This theory posits that Dev is not merely Dale’s son but a clone created by Dale himself. This hypothesis is supported by various pieces of evidence throughout the series, making it a compelling argument. Evidence: Physical Resemblance: Dev and Dale share an uncanny physical resemblance. Both have the same red hair and blue eyes, which is not uncommon for a father and son, but the exactness of their features suggests something more1. Technological Affinity: Both Dev and Dale have a profound affinity for technology. Dale is a tech mogul, and Dev, despite his young age, is highly proficient with gadgets and drones. This shared trait could be a result of cloning, where Dev inherited not just physical traits but also intellectual capabilities1. Emotional Disconnect: Throughout the series, Dev is shown to be a lonely child yearning for his father’s attention. Dale, on the other hand, is often preoccupied with his work. This emotional disconnect could be a result of Dale viewing Dev not as a son but as a project or an extension of himself1. Lack of Maternal Presence: There is no mention of Dev’s mother in the series. This absence could be explained if Dev was created in a lab rather than through natural means. The lack of a maternal figure supports the idea that Dev’s origin is unconventional1. Dale’s Secret Projects: Dale is known to work on secretive and advanced technological projects. It is plausible that one of these projects involved cloning himself to create an heir who could continue his legacy without the unpredictability of natural inheritance2. Behavioral Patterns: Dev’s behavior often mirrors that of Dale’s, especially in terms of arrogance and a sense of superiority. These behavioral patterns could be a result of cloning, where Dev inherited not just physical and intellectual traits but also personality traits1. Conclusion: The theory that Dev Dimmadome is a clone of his father, Dale Dimmadome, is supported by various pieces of evidence throughout “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish.” The physical resemblance, technological affinity, emotional disconnect, lack of maternal presence, Dale’s secret projects, and behavioral patterns all point towards the possibility that Dev is not just Dale’s son but his clone. This theory adds a layer of complexity to their relationship and provides a new perspective on Dev’s character.

Dude imagine how funny it’d be if his new godkid was Timmy’s children?
I also wish to see Timmy Turner in season 2 I hope. Then it will shocking, surprising and lastly Cosmo, Wanda and Peri is going to have a difficult moment to focus if there going to see Timmy as an adult then Jorgen will be like "I know you missed Turner but I won't allow you to encounter him because I know you 3 missed a lot" then the complaints and difficult emotions breakdown and the Cosmo, Wanda, Peri and Jorgen will have to explain everything about Timmy Turner.
Thank you for the full names I almost forgot what show I was watching
What about Chip Skylark and the crimson chin
What if the new Godkid is one of Jimmy turner's kids froom the channel chsers timeline?,that would be amazing
It took Hazel 1 year, it took Timmy 50 years
I agree with Peri. Nickelodeon, please give us a SEASON 2 greenlight.

Timmy kept his secret for a year yet he was still 10 years old like when he first got them lmao
Even funnier is how they later justified it in-universe
No he wasn't?
If remy can get juandisimo back, dev can get peri back too
I'd find it funny if Jaundisimo actually didn't have a kid by this time and somehow becomes Dev's new God parent.
That comment from Cosmo really hit deep. It's kind of old hat that what the 'bad guy' wants is the one thing that no amount of power can get them.....but it was used very well in this instance.
Lame and cliched. Ofc the cartoon community would hype up a baby cartoon rather than a mature show that pushed the boundaries of what a cartoon can be like Hazbin Hotel and Velma

That also does help with the theory if they get a S2 Dev remembering could become a Plot Point, Trying to be a better person becaus he knows the concequences and that his Dad will sadly never love him

i didn't take notice but yeah thats likely what happened, dale got his memories removed but not dev
Feels wild to see Anti cosmo and Wanda again after over a decade of absence
Wait… when in first episodes Jorgen stripped Cosmo of his magic and wings, technically making him not a fairy, did Anti Cosmo also despawn for that time?
I really need a season 2. I have been loving Dev as a character and really hope that he can some way earn Peri back like how Remy got Juandissimo back. Because I think Peri can be a good Friend/ Prenatal figure that Dev can grow and learn from.
When Timmy wished he was a fairy, would his opposite have looked the same as Gary?
If I had to make a prediction, I believe Jorgan will set very strict decrees for the fact that Hazel's Brother and friends know about Fairies. It will probably go like, " You may have gotten your rule free wish granted, but that doesn't mean that it can't be reversed or undone by specific means. If any of them tells anybody about Cosmo, Wanda, Peri, or anything involving fairies being real or Fairy World, that person will lose their memory of fairies on the spot"
On twitter one of the writers said the pixies were going to return for the finale but they removed it for Dev to be the villain
Probably season 2
@@vikingfromnorth45 idk they said it was for season one but hopefully they get season 2.
Dev was builded up well though this season and makes me curious what they'll do with him next season.
I think it was for the best to give more focus to dev and the anti-fairies instead of trying to shove another classic vilain at the last minute. Beside, they can always bring back the pixies some other time.
@@blackbloom8552 Yeah butdev got hijkaced by his dad who took foop from him.
We need a Season 2 of this Series Immediately.
Finally, Jazmine can have peri as her fairy godparents,
Free Cheers for Hazel Wells, hip hip. Hip hip. Hip hip.
That's perfect.
7:35 this still imagine with the context that peri’s first godkid not only locked him up, but also tortured him through magical build up to near death has to beyond traumatizing.
And I love how the outro with peri is so very fairy oddparents like
Do you think that in the next season the Pixie King will look for Timmy to fulfill his promise of revenge from the end of the Bob the Clown movie?
🤞
That would be awesome because it would give them a valid reason to restore Timmy's memories of Cosmo and Wanda. Partly because of him being in danger from magical beings he previously fought, and partly because he's one of the people most experienced in stopping Pixies. Alternatively, we could watch as Hazel struggles to protect Timmy without him seeing her fairies or the Pixies, while Cosmo and Wanda go crazy trying to take out the Pixies before Timmy gets hurt. I think it could be a super good episode if they do it right.
It took Timmy 50 years to make a million wishes and Hazel less than a year. Timmy must’ve been slacking around
Lol I literally thought and wrote the same thing! Yeah just how?😆🤯🤔
…what if…and hear me out, the fatality of magic back up is the result of a wish.
I hope it gets a season 2. We need more of this.
I do kinda hope that maybe Peri want to go back to Dev. Even getting the fairy councils to have an meeting. Mainly due to him being raised around his parents never giving up on Timmy, might make him think that Dev could possibly change for the better so he wouldn't give up on him.
That was one heck of a finale and Peri breaking the fourth wall at the very end caught me off-guard, and he's right about wanting a season 2.
Dev is the single-handed. Worst godchild ever makes Timmy look like an angel.😂
Basically, Anti-Fairies weren't originally gonna be introduced in season 1. Hopefully we get that Bible plotline in season 2 with the Pixies
Good to know that we get to see Omsoc and Adnaw again at least once.
I love the backwards names.
I heard that if A New Wish gets a good amount positive feedback on Netflix, they’ll green light the show.
Ok- there has to be more! I want more of this show! I want Peri to get more screen time!
So wouldn't Peri dying from magical build also kill Irep too ?
most likely yes
The thing is Irep probably didn’t think that far ahead, he certainly didn’t as a baby during a secret wish.
Well, this was one heck of a Finale, i really hope we get a Season 2, so we can see how things goes from here and so Characters that didn’t get to make a return yet gets to.
"For my one rule free wish, I wish for TEN MORE rule free wishes!"
Man, Peri almost had the shortest life any fairy ever had...
Poof as Peri must be pretty good now he’s grown up. He’s all suave and sophisticated now that’s pretty cool.
Hold up, Hazel made 1 mil wishes in 1 seasons, while it took Timmy 8 seasons wtf
and 50 years of his life
1 million seconds is 3 YEARS
she would've had to do a wish every single second , and she would've had the fairies for 3 years
Don't forget she also ate those timeloops cereal. so she could have gotten a couple hundred thousand wishes in that time
@@darknessblades fair fair
Yeah, that actually makes no sense considering Timmy was also wishing for Breakfast and getting him clean. Basic daily morning routine everyday to skip showers and such.

with him still having his memories of HIS fairies, due some wish mumbo-jumbo loophole with Dev revealing everything. and hazal wanting to meet Big-T wishing for it
Timmy already knowing something is weird, plays a prank on them with "Fake Cameo Timmy", only for him to reveal himself, dropping it straight from the bag he is aware of hazel's faries, to Jorgan's anger, citing some obscure clause in da-rules, Like the Crazy crocker clause, where they used to power fairy magic all on Crocker's crazy obsession.
I just had a genius idea, maybe the pixies meet dev's dad and will try to join forces because they are the types with business
This was such a fun show ! Pari's right It better get a second season.
To be fair, weeks passed on and Doug may have thought that he was dead or truly gone
I'm guessing that Dev will be hit on the head by a _handsome, purple, coconut,_ getting his memories of Peri back.
Sense they're going the Infinity train route and throwing lore and angst into this show, i hope that (while not going too out of character) this
misadventure would affect Peri in an extremely negative way to the point that he straight up wants a different god child ,like i love Dev and all he's
my favorite character and i know he's a troubled kid that's processing a lot and as much as i want him to have a happy ending and as much as i love Dev and Peri as a duo
, there's no way Peri left this episode being a-okay

Its actually insane how good this show is, you just had to take Butch Out to fix his shows lol
I'm surprised he even put his name on it with how ~wOkE~ it is. Maybe his ego won out over his beliefs.
One thing just does not make sense with the finale.
Every fairy has an Antifairy. Fairies are gone due to magical backup, so that respective Antifairy should be gone as well. Peri was almost gone and yet Irep seems fine. Irep should've had some magical backup as well.
especially considering they had an episode where cosmo's fagigidy gland went bad and it was revealed anti-cosmo's gland "went good"
i swear if they do a season 2 they have to give dev a redemption arc
I love how they brought back Poof, Foop, anti Wanda, anti Cosmo and alot of other characters. But, where are the pixies?! They made a movie with the pixies trying to rule over Fairy world by using Flappy bob as a pawn. Hopefully they made a appearance
Hazel's wish as described would be a plot hole unless it undoes the entire rule as it's a 2 parter only half of which she addressed, they lose their memories AND Hazel loses her fairies so she should still lose her fairies but not the memories as worded
Unless that was intentional and will be relevant to season 2
My hopes for S2 are
1) dale still has project h, realizes fairies are real and ends up making contact with pixies and they become the season antagonists but instead of taking over fairy world they do something different by creating new rules that stop fairies from interfering, basically the reverse of the anti fairies plan of break all rules.
2) dev has a real redemption arc, not like the, well written let's be clear, trampoline of being good, being bad of this season. And at the end accepts that his father loves only what profits him and betray him helping hazel and the gang save the day, thus proving he's a better person
3) dev glasses kinda protected him from mind wip magic a bit theory its real and he has some memories left that will return whole with time.
4) Dev ditches the glasses at the end, also destroys his father boots.
5) dev mom shows up, she's waaaay better than dale and in the finale she gets custody of dev
6) real Timmy turner appears, not the not timmy
7) more old villains make an appearance or a cameo, like Francis, negachin, norm or dark laser....also some for the good guys..like marc
8) more original antagonist that are going to stick around, like cookie
9) hazel finally meets her brother "best friend at college" wink wink
10) Fred whispers and james (I think that's the museum guy name) have an episode where they discuss some theory and at the end they understand their different point of views and learn to tolerate and understand each other more
His name is James.
@@chrisomo4553 thank you
I'm incredibly glad to see this franchise get a new fresh start in over a whole decade, they didn't try to milk this franchise even more especially with that sitcom in 2022 that was literally ran by someone who didn't watch the actual show and just went by what the company wanted, the old characters being brought back aging was a very great touch that isn't all too nostalgic baiting as they actually develop character development with these characters bringing new fans to enjoy this franchise, overall I'm pretty pumped to see a season 2 be greenlit which is something I'd never expect to say about a nick show, especially one that's been in incredible rough attempts at revitalization and is basically the second oldest nicktoons franchise still running even past the ending of the original show
Dev might be a clone.Theory: Dev Dimmadome is a Clone of His Father, Dale Dimmadome
Introduction: In “The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish,” Dev Dimmadome, the son of Dale Dimmadome, exhibits striking similarities to his father. This theory posits that Dev is not merely Dale’s son but a clone created by Dale himself. This hypothesis is supported by various pieces of evidence throughout the series, making it a compelling argument.
Evidence:
Physical Resemblance:
Dev and Dale share an uncanny physical resemblance. Both have the same red hair and blue eyes, which is not uncommon for a father and son, but the exactness of their features suggests something more1.
Technological Affinity:
Both Dev and Dale have a profound affinity for technology. Dale is a tech mogul, and Dev, despite his young age, is highly proficient with gadgets and drones. This shared trait could be a result of cloning, where Dev inherited not just physical traits but also intellectual capabilities1.
Emotional Disconnect:
Throughout the series, Dev is shown to be a lonely child yearning for his father’s attention. Dale, on the other hand, is often preoccupied with his work. This emotional disconnect could be a result of Dale viewing Dev not as a son but as a project or an extension of himself1.
Lack of Maternal Presence:
There is no mention of Dev’s mother in the series. This absence could be explained if Dev was created in a lab rather than through natural means. The lack of a maternal figure supports the idea that Dev’s origin is unconventional1.
Dale’s Secret Projects:
Dale is known to work on secretive and advanced technological projects. It is plausible that one of these projects involved cloning himself to create an heir who could continue his legacy without the unpredictability of natural inheritance2.
Behavioral Patterns:
Dev’s behavior often mirrors that of Dale’s, especially in terms of arrogance and a sense of superiority.
