B’sRACING Ben Bonfield Wiscombe Park Hillclimb National 2022 New PB Jedi racing cars

What a fantastic Wiscombe Park British Hillclimb round. Woolbridge Motor Club put on a fantastic event and the team at Wiscombe Park prepared a fantastic condition hill. The weather was very kind and it stayed dry all weekend. The orange army as always did a fantastic job and it was a pleasure to see so many of you out on the hill thank you so much. Strong weekend apart from the one run on Saturday where the Jedi fancied being a 2 cylinder. Saturday went well going 2nd and missing out on the inter club FTD by 0.2 of a second. Saturdays second timed run was a 37.69 going under the 1100cc class record so a great result. Sunday went even better with the bar being lowered even more to a new pb of 37.17 and going under my southwest 1100cc record, sadly it doesn’t count as it wasn’t a Sw championship round but positive I know I can lower that one at a later date it’s definitely in there. Congratulations to Andrew Forsyth for the inter club FTD on both days. Really happy with the weekend being the quickest 1100cc. The national side was fantastic to watch. The top guys really flying all putting in some phenomenal times they were insane. Congratulations Alex Summers on a new hill record and run off win. Congratulations to Wallace Menzies on his run off win. Fantastic weekend in all well done guys.
