The fact that they literally changed their minds on what song was going to be the intro on stage and it still flowed rather well is just impressive. Even pretty funny, because it looked like Flea proposed the idea and both Chad and Josh looked at each other like “Aight, I’m down.”
cv 33 they normally jam before they start Can’t Stop. This jam is even in the same key as Can’t Stop. It’s possible they planned on it, but I’d be willing to bet it was a spur of the moment decision. Also, they absolutely would have been able to hear each other playing live. Not being able to hear each other is a load of BS. I've played live, I know what it's like. They would have been able to hear each other.
@@George-hy1or you do know that setlists exist right? a list of the songs they will play at the concert? this is made way before the live show and they follow it (this is common with bands when they do a live perfomance) and from what i know, it's anthony that does the setlist, so he might of just changed it just because he felt like it. but it could also be that they really wanted to play dark necessities and anthony had to go along, or they told him that they wanted to play it right before going on stage. otherwise, it was all planned
I don't know what you mean by underrated? Chad Smith is one of the most famous drummer sin the world. If you can be a super star in a 3 piece funk/punk band since the 80ies, you're pretty special - and everybody knows it!

He wrote Under the Bridge when he was 19… Josh is a fantastic guitarist but when they’re on stage he’s carried by Flea in the jams. John on the other hand would carry Flea. Josh just rocked out without a whole lot of thought behind what he was playing.
Josh has great talent, wish he could’ve made more great works with the peppers, and the one n only chad smith is so amazing, his rhythmic drums make such a simple lineup so full of energy!
We were lucky to have Josh and for them to create those 2 albums with him. Without him RHCP could’ve called it quits or sounded way different or possibly terrible with a different guitarist. Rock on Josh 🤘🏻

The first time I snagged tickets, they finally came to my city and John had just left the band, so naturally, I was pretty disappointed about that. However, they still fucking rocked the roof off that place. Saw them again a few weeks ago and they were even better if that's possible. One of those rare gems - you can rock out to their stuff from '85 all the way to now. Just love em!

However, Hilal was the original following John F, Arik and Josh. There have been a few others like Dave Navarro and Freddy that played with the band but the main Guitarist is John F, but all along his time Josh was tight there behind the drum kit playing that other lever of Guitar that’s necessary in order for the guys to go out and perform. Their songs are very intricate and I’ve learned a lot about life and music in general from the Greatest Band of My Time, and All Time in my opinion, THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS 🌶!!!!!!!

I had to listen to the albums “I’m with You “ and “The Getaway” at least 2-3 times before I started to like them. Now they’re my favorite RHCP records. Definitely looking forward to hearing the next one, cuz Josh is kicking some ass!
Imma miss Josh so so much, his energy was incredible! Loved every song he made with RHCP, in fact most of my fav songs came from the albums he was in. After months of listening to them, saying that all my fav songs came from him is an overstatement. There’s John the god, Dave the king, Hillel the goat. This is one of the few bands in the world, that every band's member is absolutely awesome. I mean, you can play guitar, bass, drums or sing and you would learn for each of the members, wouldn't matter the instrument you play because they are Incredible on each of their areas!! You will have the same fun in each area haha!
I'm going to miss Josh with the RHCP. I prefer his heavy rhythm guitar style than John's Hendrix-esque style of playing. It's a shame I'm Beside You wasn't released as an album, that was his greatest work he put out.
Josh is one of my favourite guitarists, unbelievably talented, just think he's a bit too heavy on the effects. You can't really hear what he's trying to play sometimes. Just tone it down a little.

Josh is one of my favourite guitarists, unbelievably talented, just think he's a bit too heavy on the effects. You can't really hear what he's trying to play sometimes. Just tone it down a little.
