In my experience a lot of closeted bi men are homophobic. It is protective.If you are clearly gay it isn't going to be credible. If you are bi you mostly pass for a straight guy. That's my experience.

Literally there is this dude at my school and he acted homophobic and stuff towards me, whenever I did gay shit or when I told him I was bi. (We have been friends for years now) but sometimes he randomly touched my hair in class, he sat way too close to me and Literally our hands were touching. And one day I was talking to a friend and he came from behind me and HUGGED me, it was such unexpected behaviour from him, nit to mention he was smirking and just made conversation with me before he left to his friend group or whatever. All my friends think that was into me, but I highly doubt it. And even if he was, he's got a girlfriend now, and we haven't talked as much. Idk what to say about it, it was a weird lol
You have to be careful with the eye contact thing. I was in straight bar and this guy just kept staring at me. Totally thought he was into me until I realized he was watching the football game on the TV right behind me.

For older guys (30+) sometimes just asking direct & straight out (pun intended) if they are gay will give a good indication. If there is a pause before the answer, you know they are evaluating the risk of the answer. Straight guys say no immediately. I would suggest that if there is any pause, then the guy is not straight. Might be bi, might be gay, might be in the closet, etc.

Couldn't agree more. Metal, punk, hard rock are both surprisingly accepting and have a pretty big lgbtq presence. If I remember correctly all the members of green day are bi (I know they are a bit more pop/punk but still a decent example in my book)

The best way to tell if a Guy is Gay without having to ask him; is if hes awkward around You, straight men are uncomfortable or very comfortable but Not awkward, rather he out or still in the closet, a guy whose Gay/Bi around a another gay/bi guy usually is awkward because theyre not comfortable with showing that theyre Gay so you have let them know its ok by just being yourself and chill theyll eventually get comfortable and break.
My Gaydar is excellent I have 97% of being correct about a guy being Gay/Bi havent been wrong yet even if they dont come out right then they always do eventually.

#5 is probably the only one that is always true. I've seen it myself in countless situations. High school, football (soccer) practice, locker rooms, the beach, parties.. Even though I've always been super social and always pushing others to do stuff, when they start acting gay, I pretend I'm talking on the phone or whatever. Well, that was until I came out, of course. After that, my male friends just started asking me stuff about what's it like to be gay (with details).. For a moment there, I started questioning their heterosexuality :D
And in our teenage years, they were all ready to experiment with another guy.

The few situations I was in with the "curious" type it was all about vibe if you wanted to go there and make first move. That was 50/50. The worst though were the "curious" making the move and you were just NOT into them. Those they tended to get all pissy about it when I wasn't receptive.
I had a roommate while in college, who liked to dress himself in clothes of knock-off brands of Dior. It turned out that he was straight.
Here are my evidence,

3. He talks to my close friends for some reason,( Im a detective If I can create a trap in less than 5 seconds.) And he fell for it today,

I had to train myself to be on guard 24/7 growing up. I had to train myself not to look at people. Some people think this is a sign of disrespect not looking into the eyes of another person whom you were talking to. I had to be super cautious I would deliberately look out what was supposed to be a hot female when talking to my straight friends cuz if they found out they wouldn't be friends with me and it would probably resort to some type of violent act upon me. I had to deepen my voice talk slower learn how to be more manly and my parents send me to Korea and had me trained to be more manly to walk more manly to move more manly to even write more manly. I had to stay there for 3 years. Since I no longer live with my parents and don't even live in the same area and they're too old they claim to visit me I know right like I want to write talk like I want to, act like I want to and be myself. . I'm here living with my family and their neighborhood and where they come from being gay was like the worst thing you could possibly be. At age 12 they bought me a woman who is age 21 for me to lose my virginity to and then I had to go into 2 hours of debriefing my parents to make sure that I actually did the deed. That was what I call child abuse. Things should come naturally and not force upon you but my parents said I was unnatural and their job was to make me natural. I was also at a young age prayed upon by an adult pervert who convinced me and made me doubt my own feelings to not tell anybody that if I told anybody the family would disown me all he was worried about was saving his own ass and the best groomer are the one groomers that you can't tell that they're grooming you they're so secretive and stealthy where it almost seems like to the point where they can say you wanted it you wanted to do that. He grinned me for 5 years when I was a child. When I was 20 I hooked up and had a 43-year-old boyfriend a bear type we were together for 3 years. He is Russian a Ashkenazi Jew. He was brilliant and nice and caring and affectionate. I don't get jealous usually I've only been jealous with two people in my life who I am had a romantic relationship with. Yes and one of them was a woman. I told her about my history and my baggage and she was accepting and we had 5 years of being happy of course she moved on to someone who could feel the relationship who didn't have these issues that I had but I'm glad that I had those few years together and her family was very nice to me and they also knew about my history to a certain extent of what was mentioned and that was the first time in my life I was able to ever have a peaceful holiday where was her family I used to really like going to her family's house for holidays and the weekends and have barbecue or out for dinner it was very peaceful but is she needed more than I was willing to give and a relationship of course trend bitter and she found somebody else. Bookwise she was brilliant. My parents were told by my sister that I was deceased and they were okay with that and didn't even check to make sure if the deceased individual was me and I don't have a picture of me in their house but they want my servitude and they want me to take care of them as they grow old and to move in with them and be their servant that's not happening. I need some investments and now I am I can only rely on myself there's no safety net. That's awesome means people who I don't want to control me can't control me

Number 5 isn’t necessarily true, at least from my perspective. Because as someone who is a closeted bi, I also find it funny to act gay around the boys even tho I actually kinda am. Yeah I guess there is a higher chance that guy who doesn’t act gay is actually gay but fyi, a lot of closeted guys would do anything to fit in with the boys that even included acting sus. But again, don’t always suspect them to be gay just because they don’t act like it.
The closet is really a slow horrible burn that slowly destroys you. I know. I was there. I understand if you're in danger from family or society, and you have to be closeted, then really you have to suffer it. But otherwise, if it's fear of rejection keeping you in, know that by not coming out you'll die a death by a thousand little cuts.

Yes eye contact can mean alot It can show his interest in you. I had an experience recently, where a guy said hi to me when passing on the street. I said hello back. But generally guys don't say hello to one another. And later on in the day I thought it might have been because he fancied me. But it may also have been just a friendly hello. Sometimes we gay men can tell if some other guy is gay. Gaydar I call it.

I think maybe this is related. I was in my early 20's and I had a idea that I might be gay but I wouldn't even call it a complete thought, it was just to threatening. I had a large group of friends and for the most part we all went to high school together and at the core of the group was a straight couple that were married. They would have a "Buffy" night where we all headed to the married friend's house to drink and watched TV shows including "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". It was the highlight of our week. Eventually, the show "Queer as Folk" was introduced for all of us to watch and I was told it was about gay people. The show was about gay people but in a soft porn format. I was completely dumbstruck with my group of friends watching this show and I could barely look at the TV. My friend were fascinated by everything about the show but I became flush, started sweating and terrified if I look at the TV I would get aroused. I barely made it through the first episode without having a full panic attack. I felt like everyone was looking at me and reading my mind (they were totally clueless of what was going on with me, I found out years later). Back in the day we did not have access to anything remotely close to gay porn (no internet) and I had never experienced or seen two men having sex. I never went back to "Buffy" night but I developed a private obsession to "Queer as Folk" while watching it in the privacy of my own home. Later that year, I moved 3000 miles away from my home town (graduate school) and ended up nearly living in a gay bar for 5 years. I got over being uncomfortable with men on men sex surprisingly quickly.

I drive a truck and it was the one wayi could be my gay self back in the 70s without having problems
I'm 20 and Bi and drove a truck since I was 16. Until recently when I got a subaru so I'm in both camps. I actually enjoyed driving the truck for various reasons and wouldn't mind owning one but I don't really need one at the moment.

Eye contact for sure. (Preface: I really tend to go about with blinders on and no doubt have missed many eye contact hints). At a gym once, this good looking guy kept looking at me ( I do a lot of elliptical - amazing for the glutes lol ) and would come and point out corrections when I was lifting weights I would say 'hey thanks' and thought 'Well, that's nice'. lol. That went on for about 2 weeks on say 4 occasions. Finally, he got right to the point as I wasn't getting the hint. Needless to say, I pay a lot more attention to eye contact and try to keep my blinders off lol. (Oh, the truck thing ... ya that's pretty hot. A good buddy drives a very cool truck and it looks pretty good in my driveway ha ha).
