    i've gotten the 'last book i read'. that same guy told me I had 'enlightened laziness' for my specialty in finding ways to automate and find and implement efficiencies. 🙄

    and, strangely enough, the higher I put my ask on the application, the more likely I am to get a call back. turns out, people really do want talent, and are willing to pay for it. that said, I'm not having much success getting past first-round - whether they are more formal or conversational - whether I ask a lot of good questions, or not.
