    I had a better experience. My P4Pro+ 2.0 arrived yesterday. I got it set up, updated and activated. My goggles arrived today. I plugged them in to charge them, activated them through DJI Assistant 2, upgraded the firmware to the 5-9-2018 version (I think this might be what you missed), and when I went to connection options in the goggles, "Phantom 4 Pro 2.0" was in the same connection category as the Mavic Air. I pressed the link button on the Phantom, and within a few seconds, I was linked. I powered everything down, then back up again, and everything connected flawlessly. No cables, no fuss.

    I understand it is not just the props but some change they did in the motors

    Good video as always , would be good if you could test the Ocusync range CE , as I’m in the UK. It would be good to see it fly with the goggles when you can

      steve cross haha thanks Steve! Truth is we didnt have much info last week and we didnt want to mess with the new info, just wanted to be more careful :)

    • @Steve-Cross
      @Steve-Cross 6 лет назад

      Alex, if you didn’t have ANY INFORMATION last week when you REVIEWED the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, perhaps it would have been prudent to have waited until you did have the correct info. As that was the ONLY reason I and other viewers made negative comments on your post. I think basic product knowledge is the bare minimum requirement, if you intend to do a REVIEW on it, wouldn’t you agree?

    • @alexassenmacher
      @alexassenmacher 6 лет назад +1

      steve cross steve i totally agree, we did have 3 ideas, which is more than nothing haha. There are videos out there from people talking about the drone who don't and won't ever have this drone. I saw we were one of the few channels that had, so I thought it was the right decision. However of course I've learned I'll do it differently next time :) thanks again

    I ordered it after your first video. This 2.0 product is more like an s version iPhone, or a stable version software. It’s not a p4p user is expecting maybe. But for people entering the “pro” field, like myself, it is actually an awesome product. Combining good features from both p4p and mavic pro. The only thing I will complain is that it still seems less stable than the mavic pro from the timelapse video, rotated a bit and didn’t hold the altitude very well. Can you confirm that, or put that to a test? Thanks.

    Well done for releasing a factual test on the new p4. From my view it’s been well worth the wait having owned the original p4 and a Mavic Air (which was disappointing)

    Well Done Alex! Great review of the new Phantom 4 2.0. 1.25 minutes longer flight time is a good thing, but it wasn't 30 minutes; how much wind did you have that day? Thank You!

  • @BDrones
    @BDrones 6 лет назад +3

    I cannot believe Dji Phantom really is a drone that really is a identical version of the one before with a couple of small changes it must be because there is no competition and that making a V2 Is basically selling people the same exact product

    • @HeilRay
      @HeilRay 6 лет назад

      No surprised.
      The ONLY Time they revealed actually new drones was after their competiton revealed some drones that received a lot of attention.
      Yunnec Typhoon, X-Star Premium, Gopro Karma.
      Each of these brought out the Phantom 4, Mavic Pro, ect. Not DJI consumer demand.

      Yes they are the same fitting, but I don't think they are available to buy yet. I am sure when the first drones start to ship, we will see them for sale. I think they are the best thing about this upgrade.

    Typical release from DJI. You're the BETA tester. It will need a firmware update to connect the goggles. Good comparison on noise and flight time! Thanks!

  • @jeneemolyneux
    @jeneemolyneux 6 лет назад

    I don’t really think it is a true comparison for time and sound. If you want to do a proper comparison then it needs to be a comparison between the old P4Pro and the new V2.0, not just changing props. For the time, the same applies but you would need to use the same battery for both.

    If it is like the Mavic Air, cable connection will only work.

  • @harjapaulakh4424

    But there was also wind going against the wind so the P4P could have gotten More time.

    Dji is becoming the "Apple" of drones

    • @PalmettoMoon
      @PalmettoMoon 6 лет назад

      Teemu Jaakkola What i meant is, people are on edge waiting for the phantom 5. Dji pushes out the same old phantom 4 with minor new things and calls is a version 2.0
      That's classic as to what Apple does. Give you an example...Apple is pushing hard to sell the iPhone 8 "red" edition. Correct me if I'm wrong but why would anyone want an iPhone 8 just because it's "red" when the newest is the iPhone x? See how they milk the consumer for money? Dji is doing the same.

      people are never happy, what would be the difference between the 4th and 5th?, few minutes of flight? new features?, these are flying machines with a camera, be happy with what's available... welcome to the marketing world...
