I bought DJI Phantom 4 pro+ V2.0 in 2018 when it was released and I have been used it since then. I just love it. Yeah it's big but weight comes handy when weather is windy. It's allways worked fine and not single part has ever broke down. Just few weeks ago I change original propellers to new ones. So yeah it's very tough machine.

I have this P4Pro + AND still have my P3Pro, but the P3Pro has stopped communicating with the camera.. so, it's a brick. BUT, the P4Pro is still my go-to drone. I have so many hours on it and will use it until it's no longer usable. As they get to the end of their life, I take more risks with them and get some great sequences. Fly it in storms, winter snow, and take risks that I would not do with a new drone. The batteries are still strong, though the remote battery is no longer fully charging. I agree with all the points you've made, great video! Thanks!

As somebody who has numerous drones and have been in the hobby a few years I find myself flying the drones that take the least amount of time to get in the air the most. I bought an RC pro controller just so I didn’t have to connect my phone to the controller! If I had more drone work, I would definitely look into getting a phantom because, as you said, perception is everything!!

  • @Θωμάς-Ακριβός

it is the best drone that the company produced! the only problem is the sensitivity of the gimbal (it vibrates after 1 year of flight) and the cracks in the shell every year. the company should also produce batteries with a longer duration of at least 40 minutes. the quality of video touches perfection. I believe that the support of the service will stop very soon.....I don't know if it's worth selling it to buy an air 3?

I recently upgraded from my P4P, which I've owned since its release, to a Mavic 3 with the Fly More combo, without any additional cost. This was possible because I sold my P4P to a photogrammetry company. For them, a drone with a mechanical shutter, like the P4P, is extremely valuable due to its high-quality imaging capabilities, which is why it retains its value so well.

It flew through a freaking tropical storm in Florida with gusts of 60 mph and returned to home from a mile away going into a 30mph headwind. Eddie, Excellent review of the P4V2. Your review is the best I’ve seen in several years; you hit all of the great points, as well as the very few negative ones. Ive had mine for over 4 years; its still one of my favorites. In fact, I bought 3 more batteries, for a total of 8, a couple of months ago. I did sell my plus controller, as at the time, no mapping software supported the android system, so I use an iPad mini 4, then 5. I also fly it with the original smart controller. In Teagarden to white, I have all of my drones wrapped in red; very visible. I have no problem with the case size, as I do have a corresponding backpack style cover for the “refrigerator” foam container. I also agree with you on the gimbal; I have a very small gimbal protector that works great. I’d entertain another P4V2, if I found open at a great price. Thanks for the great Review.

Mine spent 1 year in a backpack, during covid. After 1 year, all 4 batteries died, and gimbal started glitching too (drone never fell or anything). As much as I enjoyed this one, but no updates on firmware for 4 years, still no hyperlapse mode, all those gimbal issues, and apparent DJI business model on being a batteries, rather than drone selling company - for me just makes buying anything from DJI a questionable investment.

  • @Sedici-Competizione

I still fly mine here and there, I have the older first version that uses light bridge 2. the only thing I never liked was when flying sideways and the gimbal reaches pitch limit and then the gimbal centers itself making it look like you are crashing on the footage. I totally agree with all the points you have made in your video. However I was expecting some Focus to be placed on the sound Factory. Adult this size has been found to be very loud and thereby attracting a lot of unwanted attention. What is also the main reason why the miniseries is selling for so much over these larger series. Great video all in all
