DJI Phantom 4 Pro | Best Video, Photo and Gimbal Settings

We love filming and flying with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro. From a recent Instagram Q&A session, we list our default startup video, photo and gimbal settings for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro. We use these settings for commercial drone operations to capture aerial photos and cinematic videos for our clients.

Nice video thx. Do you ever adjust your EXP settings to smooth out the stick inputs?

Thanks, Jeff, Yes I do when shooting cinematic videos. I also slow the footage down to a 24fps timeline. This is what I've found works the best to smooth the footage. Example 30fps to 24 fps, reduce to 80% on the timeline.

@@jeffellis6544 I leave them as default for normal filming. However when chasing objects and in racing/sports mode, I use 0.80 for fast moves.

Are these settings available only only the P4Pro 2.0? I have a version 1 in Europe and some of the settings you described are not available. For example there is no AFC, the camera and video settings are joint, the gimbal settings are different.

Yes, there may be some variations between V1 and V2. I have both aircraft and there are some options missing or omitted between them. Also, V1 doesn't have some of the sensors as V2.

I find it strange being what you consider yourself a professional at this but allow your voice to drift off as if you're so bored doing it that its not important to you to try and be consistent with the volume level. Plus you sort of skip some things while going too fast to understand at the same time. This was not very professional at all!

This video was made 3 years ago on a budget phone and a GoPro. Maybe you can redo the video since it's an old one. 👍
