Such camera work! Drone, between a truck and a chopper, and a ride along - this video has it all! then watched that Millennial Farmer guy's video, he just played in snow...lol
Looking like alot of fun mabey someday I'll stop in when we have some time we go thru there with our trucks but never seme to have time to stop by maybe some time we will
That’s crazy they are chopping already. We are headed down to Tonopah area for Claas training the end of February. Looks like that’s pretty close to you place!
Great drone video footage Trevor. In so many of your videos i see new housing developments all around you. How long til you AZ farmers are going to be able to continue farming in your area?
If we have a short distance to go, they will as well. Unfortunately most of this has to travel 15+ miles. Last year they had enough man power to run a super cool cart with floatation tires. Go look about a year ago.
To reduce/ avoid the ruts in the damp alfafa field. (if the Mouse cart is unavailable) Could put multizone central tire inflation on all the semi's and trailer's wheels.(might have to be careful of air line snags in corn silage fields). The Mouse/ Mice could be assisted with a Euro type conveyor loading machine with a wireless camera system, rather than the chain slats in the Mouse, the belt loader and a camera monitor in the haul truck could potentially load the semi more evenly, though the conveyor requires an extra tractor. (e.g see Becklönne Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG youtube).// If the ruts are present. Could put central tire inflation (and airbags) on the road runner type bale squeeze to help operator's field ride. Beyond that is expensive. A rough terrain forklift (as a bale squeeze loader) with larger tires, would require a low loader ride to the field. Telehandlers/ rubber tire loaders can do short road distances - depending on road rules. Tractor and front end loader, might need foldable arms on the squeeze and height adjustable back fence (see Heath Engineering, UK facebook super spike bale handler) or a tractor pulled trailer to transport the squeeze between fields.
Yes, currently being built. It has ultimately hurt us. Lots and lots of new garbage in the fields. Lots of trespassers. Driving up land prices. Garbage in the ditches, plugging up irrigation. If the people that were moving here were horse people, that would be helpful. But not many are.
Can you imagine if your cattle got loose and were grazing in their new lawn…. Oh the outrage that would create… but it’s ok if they neglect their trash and let it roam freely in your field 🤔.
Dude thought you were a hay farmer! You always show other farmers! Your content is not about your family farm! You're a good dude, but I didn't subscribe to your channel to watch other farmers!
This is a field we custom harvest all summer. Then purchase the hay. In the winter we can’t bale it. So these guys come in and harvest it. I promise we’ll get back to baling soon! It’s pretty boring around the shop though. Thanks for watching. I’m doing my best to keep it interesting.

Uggggg I’m not built for snow farming.
The rotary screen with the rotating brush to keep the screen is a fabulous idea
such good people out there, this is awesome!
Im from minnesota. A few years back we did almost 900 acres of 2nd crop hay with 2 choppers and 6 mergers going for one dairy. It was a good day
Wow!
Looking like alot of fun mabey someday I'll stop in when we have some time we go thru there with our trucks but never seme to have time to stop by maybe some time we will
I understand! Never enough time.
Great views
Thanks for an excellent video with good explanations of how things work
You are welcome! Thank you.
It's so different there chopping then here in western ny .. I wish for your weather during hay season 🙏
Same to you!
I haul reefer and port containers still support the channel and always good to learn something new in the industry 🤘🏽
Thank you! From one coast to the other? Or short hauls?
Awesome footage!

lmaf when you called that mud . i can stop in a show you some pics from chopping at home
Sure is a lot faster than the one row gehl chopper we use to chop with!😂
Great drone video footage Trevor.

That question is on my mind every day. I don’t know, but it doesn’t look long.
Great video. Those choppers are awesome and pricey I assume.
I don’t know, but I bet they are!!
And here I figured you changed cloths because you had a dirty diaper. 🤔
Kool video mister 🚜🚜🚜
My favorite youtuber
Awwww shucks. Thank you!
impressed sir.
Great video
Thank you.
Those ruts left in the field are why most European farmers use high flotation bunk out trailers or specially designed trucks in wet conditions.

Great video, very informative!
Colour me impressed that guy is cool did he let you drive the chopper?
We chop in Southern Wisconsin, we run 2 choppers.
Nice!

You both impress me for all you do the chopper can do a little more a day if pushed
Hi 👋🏻
I know you can't show everything Trevor, but it would have been good to see that Oxbo putting the rows(swaths) together
Sorry. I’ll try to get them next time.
I noticed what looked like new houses in the background. Has this changed or hurt your farm operations any?
Yes, currently being built. It has ultimately hurt us. Lots and lots of new garbage in the fields. Lots of trespassers. Driving up land prices. Garbage in the ditches, plugging up irrigation. If the people that were moving here were horse people, that would be helpful. But not many are.
Sorry to hear that. That stinks.
Can you imagine if your cattle got loose and were grazing in their new lawn…. Oh the outrage that would create… but it’s ok if they neglect their trash and let it roam freely in your field 🤔.
@@adamv5047 or if my tractor bumped their fence, or if my irrigation got in their yard. Oh well.
They want what dairy’s are left shut down because they don’t like the smell from the cows.
Two 35 foot mergers and one 575 HP chopper we do 250 acres a day
He has it backwards. 64 percent moisture is definitely drier the 67 percent moisture. Just saying
It’s a forage harvester (or chopper) not a tractor. You’re killing me, Smalls.
🤷🏻♂️😩

And we do this on our farm as well. We don’t own any chopping equipment. So to show the full process, I film it too.
Ur doing good...just can't please everybody😭
What difference do that make if it’s his hay operation or going to see how other farmers do their thing.
I actually like the variety of content
Great video Trevor
Thanks 👍
