You call that an oil leak!? It's not a real leak until you are adding a quart every other tank of gas! Be honest, you just wanted to show off that nice truck to all of us searching RUclips for how to fix our rusty sludge coated LS.😭 That 2007 looks amazing! You have done a great job taking care of it. 😍🙌 Anyone watching this video will be jealous. Thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks for the compliments. I’m super anal about my old stuff and I want them to be like new. That leak kept me up plenty of nights. But you’re right, was it really a leak or was it just a drip!

Good idea putting silicone Around the gasket… they seem to leak at the back of the pan because the rear block cover is slightly raised to centre the crankshaft seal. And it will never seal properly across the back. Never mind the guys that put a little dab on the corners. Do the whole pan otherwise you’ll be doing it again like me.
