I just realized that my daughter watches your daughters show…she was watching Hulu this morning while I was working since they have the day off school…I heard your voice and was like that sounds really familiar…she said wow another dad collects statues and toys too…hilarious!
Sergio Aragonés is one of the nicest person in the comic world. Every time I stop by his booth at comic-con, he’s always ready to chat. That original cover is a great pick up, man.

This is soooooooo cool. I have often wondered what came of all of his original art. Also scared to here that the original cover prices dwarfed the $30k cost of this book. But glad to hear SA commands that.
Hey DT, thanks for following me on Insta. I just followed back. Really enjoyed this video. I haven't read Groo since I was buying it monthly back in the 80's, but have fond memories of it. A friend of mine also owns a complete book and might've already bought a second one. I got to flip through it in person at an annual gathering of comic art collectors we always attend at a friend's home and it was such a gas to see it all. I'm strictly an original art guy, not comics or toys and statues, but you're very enthusiastic and engaging so I've subscribed and I look forward to checking out more of your content here as time allows!

I know working digitally is the new thing, but for my money ABSOLUTELY NOTHING beats TRADITIONALLY DONE ORIGINAL ART!

My favorite comic artist too. Because of this i have animated Groo comic in my channel
