I'd love to see a video like this for OPs like Mute, Valk, Kapkan, or Maestro, sometimes I think I have a great Valk cam placement but always like this to open up new ideas and mixups to prevent attacks from knowing about the "defaults"
Honestly your content got me interested in Siege and getting better. I still have a LOT to improve on, but thanks to you and your channel I'm not completely clueless. Keep up the good work!
Love the video. I always enjoy playing Mira but I'm not always confident in my placements so I hesitate to pick her. This has given me a lot of great ideas to start implementing.
If there's a painting on the wall, try to melee the painting off the wall before reinforcing because the painting debris sometimes stuck on the Black Mirror just like this 11:12
I’d like to point out that in bank if you open up holes in the server walls instead of reinforcing it, it’ll allow you to deny way more space and angles to the attackers. Also on Villa shooting holes low on closet allows you to play against closet push.
Clubhouse has a rooftop parkour that can see your whole heckin body on the Mira. I think placing one Mira for a default, since you're likely getting scanned anyway, then checking cams and choosing the most populated push to counter is best.
0:42 I like putting the mirror on the right wall not reinforced at crouch height with a vault over top of it. It’s better in my opinion. Better angle onto freezer and you can use the vault for late round plays catching people off guard by pillar or default plant
A lot of people do a right-hand reinforcement/mira on the Oregon closet watching the stairs and freezer so that there's cover from freezer while peaking or standing in the closet.
This was great, I love this format and the shorts you have been making too. One thing I’d like to see is low-elo advice, people seem to play differently there and sometimes I get super aggressive teams that are hard to shut down for example.
I Queued after watching this vidio and dropped 12K in 6 rounds (playing with mira ofc)! I often wonder about how to improve default setups and I'd love to see this become a series so I can shake my games up a bit and maybe get called more creative words by my enemies :)
On chalet basement I like to double up miras, so ill reinforce where you put the rotate, put a mira there too, and have the rotate/peek right next to the first mira placement. This gives me the ability to fight garage, stairs and blue if my team mates die/aren't playing properly, and I very rarely lose with that setup. There's 0 point putting a basic mira down for just info, when as you pointed out it'll just get meleed straight away
I commend you for doing EP an Nighthaven, even tho the community is convinced neither of these maps are playable, despite playing less than a dozen matches on either
I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a Siege content creator like this since Rogue-9, been watching your stuff for a while now and I love it. That Aruni hold on Chalet mezzanine worked great for me earlier today btw
Good video, love that kind of content from you. Your videos regarding basic setups and "how to play ..X-operator" give such good basics to get into R6. tiny additions maybe for some Mira windows: - on Border for the Mira window looking archives, you either need someone playing 90° hallway or have shield to be protected from someone rushing main stairs or peeking from 90° (happens often enough in ranked that no one is playing there from my experience) - on Cafe the Mira in bathroom into piano, one has to take care of the cocktail/lounge window as the mira can get opened easily from that angle and/or you get shot from there Just my 2 cents to add. Eitherway nice video and I learned new things again ^-^
It was a new map that people didn’t want to learn, and Ubi didn’t make it nonbanable. So now 80% of players never learned how to play it, and are too scared of losing because “It’s not Clubhouse/Oregon”
Good video, just a few tips I could recommend.... 8:38 you can actually do horizontal holes in whole widht of the opposing CCTV soft wall so you will then be able to not only cover the main breach + armory balcony but also have the full view into the CCTV and its very OP because mostly the enemies just jump through the window or come from the other side from the Top Square and you are able to see and eliminate them before they even reliaze there are holes in the soft wall and Mira behind it.... 9:30 this works out too, but better strat I currently started using is when you place the Mira further behind on Tarp wall and just do the holes in the whole Piano soft wall. In that case your teammate can stand all the way back in Tarp/Top White and is able to control white stairs + the whole piano room... And the second Mira I actually place in the Bathroom as you did, but on the right side of it, on the wall facing the Bar and then I do holes in the soft walls between Piano and Cigar, in that case you will be able to see piano as well (but you will not be able to shoot into the piano, so you will just give info to your teammate who covers the first Mira) and you also see into Cigar and both of the hatch drops because of the holes
I rewatched the video again, and i must say, not alot of people appreciate the Crouch Mira x Azami combo, my Mira combo variates alot around Crouch Mira's and I cant tell if it's a curse or an actual strat people don't do
isnt this Mira vulnerable since people can literally just shoot you from behind the Mira on the other side of the building? like where the staircase is?
Very much want to see typical 5 man setups, full defense setup. Where everyone stands, who to bring, where to place gadgets. My stack is solid gun wise, but is terrible with setup. It would be nice to send them a timestamped video and be like, run this setup, and everyone can play ez. My biggest issue is we never have roamers in the right spots and constantly have 2 people holding the same angle, or worse, one guy holding the angle, and the other is watching from too deep to refrag, and basically isn't watching anything. Would be nice to be like, hey we need 2 roamers, one here, one here, go. The amount of times I play mira and get killed from behind because 3 people are trying to hold the same room I have mira windows watching is insane. I basically only die to flanks as mira, because I can contest well enough with the windows to keep them from pushing too hard.
I feel like such an idiot because I always try to break Miras Mirror with explosives because my brain thinks "well you can melee it so explosives should work" and then it doesn't and then I forget the next time I encounter one
Yeah surely it’s better than Labs or Plains. Never played those maps tbf bc I only just got back into siege and they always banned. Also, why did consulate get reworked😢, it was a perfectly fine map.
I honestly really do wish I could play emerald more but everyone bans it. I really appreciate this video. It affirms my previous thoughts and teaches me Alot more. also my favorite mira is a C4 mira in Penthouse looking towards hatch and big window/default
Big fan of the way you explain things. Makes me want to go into a custom game and tinker with the possible angles/placements.
Except Outback..............
No shot y'all are voting for Outback right
@@GGEgive me Outback or give me DEATH
No balls. Negative balls, even.
@GGE I'm happy playing outback because I have a couple of strats. Apart from that it's awful but I'd rather play outback than theme park.
@@GGEoutback over new consul, sue me
I didn’t even know about the Staircase mira setup on Coastline for Hooka. Had a lot of success with it recently

great video really informative would love to see more like it especially for things like frost mats and valc cams
I’d like to point out that in bank if you open up holes in the server walls instead of reinforcing it, it’ll allow you to deny way more space and angles to the attackers.
Also on Villa shooting holes low on closet allows you to play against closet push.
I remember seeing a stray like this years ago, but is it still viable with the new damage mechanics?
Mute setups could be good, similar requirements for map knowledge

I don't usually open vaultable holes next to Mira windows. Makes it easier for nades to get through.

I’m late but loved this! Really good information and helpful since I’m getting back into siege.
I will save this video and send it later to my buddies

And yeah, my solo queue teammates hated the Coastline Miras too
awesome vid, thanks Greg!
I finished mine the other day. It was one in the botanical gardens somewhere in the top left of it
Love these vids Greg, please keep em coming!
So real for this
Great video, would love to see a video on Valk cams and Azami Barriers respectively

Whats the meaning behind calling the triple wall with a reinforcement in the middle 'Pirate'?
Yes more of this please!
Useful video. Keep doing great Greg
Loved the video Greg!
kafe: “don’t put bathroom rotation here you’ll get shot in the feet”
*puts piano mirror exactly where you can get shot from skylight* 😂
love this type of content! lets go Greg
This is awesome! Could you please do the same for Valkyrie?
1:42 is called ,,suboptimal situation''
Damn I should probably play more Mira in my TDM meta ranked soloq adventures
About time. Hopefully this spreads like wild fire so people will stop reinforcing next to my mirrors
That was so great!
Gregor can i send my Mira setup and hear your thoughts on it?
Love the content thanks Greg
A Maestro video would be great !
I love Mira but im ass with her(most) guns. Ima use this to not be a complete waste while I get more used to the vector
I never understood the hate for Emerald Plains
It was a new map that people didn’t want to learn, and Ubi didn’t make it nonbanable. So now 80% of players never learned how to play it, and are too scared of losing because “It’s not Clubhouse/Oregon”
It doesn’t play very well compared to other maps
? It plays better than half the ranked map pool lmfao
loved this video
more of this boss man 👍
5:55 so should i do this on every Mira i play?

as a mira main you are correct
Bro I miss being able to cook grenades there usless now
Perfect video but with ash and Kali It'll be something else
1:45 can’t tell you how many fuckin times I’ve broken my own mirror leaning with controller
Lol. All maps except outback is crazy.
What did Outback do to you?
What is the red attachment skin name?

No Yacht or House either :( my favorite ranked maps

"except for outback" *long pause* lmao
I literally came to this video looking for outback tips 💀
Too bad the randoms I get paired with aren’t good enough to rotate and barricade where they came from lmaoooo
Emerald Plains enjoyers 🍷
A fellow outback racist 💪💪
Why Mira @ 9:47? Won't you just lose it to the window to your left?
Castle and jaeger protects it
I really don’t get the hate for outback

Old outback was poo-poo tier. Current hate is just a habit
i just realized they took my fav map favela out of ranked rotation
Now your gonna get Mira banned more often than usual, because everyone watching will use her properly
I’m banning skyscraper over outback
Set Mira first. Then clear it off.
Should mirror be played on orgeon I’m new to siege and people say orgeon is the best map
Thank you for getting rid of the Yeet intro
