Ever since Castle got the 1.5, the Super shorty, 4th barricade and the badass Elite! He's a main for me ever since... Its amazing how ubi can bring life to a operator, especially a operator that came out on launch.
A lot of respect and gratitude for people like you who make good quality educational content for siege. It’s a massive help to those trying to improve at the game
Literally just did your Kafe strat, Doc and I held off the attack for almost 2 minutes, killed 2 attackers, and we won the round. You've earned my subscription and i'm keepin' the strat :)
My most invincible castle setup so far is on bank 2f. I put a proxy on spiral stair and castle barricade + barricade the whole of banana window and door. From inside on the double wall i reinforce the left and make headholes on the right, then i make headholes along the long desk and the small stock room that connects to site. From that point i can hold almost every entry point going into the bomb site and enemies tend to not know where they're being shot from
@@snoxop yeah it worked well. You can see all the way to stock windows from inside Trump. I also put a prox top main stairs and a rotate on the soft wall to elevators so you can hold down to janitor if need be. Thank you 👍🏼
Haha you always earn the like with the intro. But of course I stay for the whole thing. You really know how to make this knowledge accessible to all skill levels. I feel like I can try this stuff out. Thanks again!
For the Kafe Library site I play Azami. I keep the East Wall site soft and reinforce train side then throw a barrier at fireplace entry. Then I sit in laundry watching sites. It's bread and butter. One of the best sites imo.
You are the best. The absolute good vibes in your videos has had me hooked to your channel for a year now, keep up the great work! You always make my day better, truly the best r6 content creator
Man i really love your videos their sooooo helpfull because of your setups i have won so much more rounds, please never stop with these videos (also i find you very entertaining and pleasent to watch
@@alyttleton I've used some of them in game today, namely the Clubhouse CCTV hold from below and got a 4k from that set up. Cheers. Subbed btw. Keep up the phenomenal work.
It’s nice to know I’ve been using the exact setups already. Most of them anyway, some are tweaked but in champ on console. My favorite is kafe reading holding above, it’s very fun on border. Love the videos.
I like the Kafe strat! But I added a shot gun hole in the wooden half wall that you hit the flower pot off of so I can watch the rotate or out side the door into the hallway.
I absolutely agree with the mid levels on Kafe. My squad and I in diamond always play the 2 fireplace sites first. Gives you the availability of playing above as if you were defending upstairs BUT the bigges positive about defending fireplace sites is that if you lose up top, you do not lose site!
1:06 yooo i love how you think bro.. I put shotgun holes in wall aswell I know it's going to take away 2 to even 15 seconds from attackers. because they're gonna investigate the holes in the wall lol
Aside from the great setups and ways to play castle, this video really altered my whole perception of defending objectives. As a newish player who’s just getting into ranked, my perspective has always been that you’re either on/by site, or your off roaming somewhere. My perspective on vertical play has been just holding some angles on people when they are going towards a site on the floor below, or maybe as an attacker like buck going through the ceiling to kill people. Never even occurred to me to actually defend the site from above rather than just roam. What a massive perspective shift that I think is really going to improve my play on defense.
Ay'up lad. I use your Kafe setup, except instead of castling reading room door and piano I do white stairs window and cocktail window. Just like having my back covered. And I'm normally in a duo or triple stack and one of the randoms will no doubt be in piano so they're my prox alarm. I did a silly strat for bank where you open the three walls from kitchen to tellers, its a mess and lets you see tellers door from the back of kitchen, through archives. Only tried it on Quickplay so far but it worked a treat.
For the bank set up castle the printer room door not the window. You eliminate a long line of site and don't waste a castle that can be struck down instead of wasting utility to clear. Reinforce kitchen door and have foot holes and proximity alarm in janitors closet. You can either make a peak hole from kitchen to janitors or wall bang when your alarm goes off.
One change I did was barricading the open area door instead of the window, that way they can't just sprint inside and are basically trapped if they jump in
Great video and tips! Next time please include Bank 2f. Blocking off one of the two internal windows gives a much safer place to contest windows. Instead of baricading all 4 small windows on the semi circle, jjst barricade the big doorway and make a rotate. Theres lots of good angles and head holes you can make. And some nice rotates. You can turn a site that makes you feel like fish in a barrel into a safe and secure sight that is confusing for attackers.
The only thing about the Clubhouse setup is that if the Attackers drone out bar and know it's all clear. Having Lounge door barricaded off loses any pressure the footholes originally present since you wont be able to hypothetically rotate around and present a threat.
You should come up with one for Villa kitchen site. Many people play vertical there so I feel like a castle strat centered in master above kitchen would be super effective.
Best use for proximity mines are near bombs. Place them in hard to see spots and TELL YOUR TEAM VIA TEXT/VOICE CHAT YOU’VE PUT THEM NEAR THE BOMBS AND TO LISTEN FOR THEM. There’s nothing more frightening for an attacker than to hear a proximity mine go off right as they attempt a plant. You can also put proximity mines near popular plant spots.
Aly that kafe set up with castle opening that wall playing up stairs I been doing that see i knew some bro normally I’ll put a motion sensor on that bottom stairs so when they push below coming up Ik also one upstairs at the door going into the speakers u shot out
11:30 the biggest issue us lower ranks(personally) emerald 1 and belows. Reinforcing and Making Rotate holes/peeks they dont watch and forcing the rest of is to worry bout one more entry way
For Kafe, why do you castle off the balcony instead of the balcony window? Wouldn't establishing a presence on the balcony make it more scary to push the area below?
This is really random, but you sound a lot like pestily who makes videos just like you except about Escape from Tarkov, just wanted to tell you that lol. Love your videos mate.
I really like Castle but the problem with him is that you he got nerfed hard by the gonne 6. I mean you can easily destroy half of his utility if you use Lion and Buck while still having two good operators and you don't waste much time as an attacker.
I've seen this vid and one of your others in 13:18 you say you saw someone else use a strat, implying the other ones you came up on your own. This however is not true. It seems to me like you're a relatively new player because even though you do nudge to right strats, you don't quite understand how things work. Meaning you saw someone else do the strat and then you did it yourself. Nothing wrong with that, however, I did get the vibe you are implying these are strats you came up on your own. Hopefully I am incorrect and my impression was wrong.
Just to illustrate by what I mean on I don't quite think you know fully what you're doing. This example requires no skill level to understand. In 13:35 you barricade Archive door first and then you go in a almost complete circle to close off the other door when you could have done Recpt door first and then closed off Archive door. That way you avoid having to go in a circle. When your a doing most of the set up by yourself even 2 seconds of saved time could mean the difference between a win or a loss.
Cheers for that mate 😅. I'm just showing a few examples and thinking whilst playing and talking whilst trying to explain. I haven't got a script mapped out or anything. Just showing what's possible. I aren't speed running them. I'm sure there are faster ways of doing things 😅
