  • H-series swaps are king for NA performance in 3rd gens but going with a B-series has some unique advantages:
    Better ground clearance than the H-series.
    Better aftermarket support.
    Traction bar not required.
    1FunRyd swap brackets allow the possibility of using stock 88-91 Prelude rubber engine mounts, in case you want a swap with low/stock vibration.
    This car will be getting a VTEC head some time in the future and will also have full accessories (A/C, P/S, cruise control). More videos on this car in the future as progress continues.

    I know there’s some haters saying H series or F series only but fck em let the man do whatever at least it’s not a ugly beat up stanced car with everything scraped up underneath

    I got a 2nd gen. Any idea what the best options for it are, as far as swaps ?

      I think the only semi bolt in option is 86-89 Accord B-series swap mounts, which can be made to work in a 2G lude from what I remember. However I don't know the details so you will have to search old threads on preludepower.com.

    You should make a write up or a video about how to get that hood prop. I really like that.

      Getting to hood to open fully is easy: www.prelude3g.com/p3g/exterior/fullyopenhood/fullyopenhood.htm
      As for the "prop" that is actually just a brake pedal depressor tool that happens to be the right length to double as a prop.

    Really wanting to do this, but not sure what I really need

    • @Prelude3g
      @Prelude3g  6 лет назад

      The big things you need are:
      Engine Swap Brackets
      Engine + Transmission
      Wiring Harness
      Axles
      Shifter + Shifter Linkage
      Call or email Sean at 1funryd.com/, he will get you set up. I'm about to build another set of mounts so now would be a good time to get them.

    1FunRyd here. This swap is definitely good for those wanting to go B20vtec or just keeping it 2.0 and reliable. But now with way more aftermarket. For the kit email me for details: 1funryd@comcast.net

    Hi .. I was wondering if you could let me know if a b20a7 automatic transmission fit on a b20b block

    • @Prelude3g
      @Prelude3g  4 года назад

      No. B20a and B20z/b are different engines despite having a similar engine code. They aren't parts compatible.

      This is a custom harness that needed an adjustment when installed on this 90-91 chassis. If you want a plug and play harness you can get one from Wireworx.

    Would these mounts work with b16/b18?
