    damn, thats like atleast 10x more clean then my build. I just wanna get it turboed and make it work. Next year i could put more effort into making clean build and adding AC back

    Hey man I have an 89 preude with the same exact motor and trans set up. Same ecu same wireworx harness. My vtec will not engage! Any ideas? I’d really like to get in contact with you if you wouldn’t mind man. Thank you!

      Did you supply the ECU with a speedometer signal from the cluster? VTEC won't engage without a speed signal, although I believe you can disable the VTEC speed check with the Hondata S300.

      @Prelude3g it looks fantastic! I just tried to shove a 2.5-inch in my 89', but it came out far uglier, partially because I only have a stick welder. Can I ask you how you routed the exhaust so that the last piece of piping so It had enough clearance not to bump into the control arms or the brake lines? I had to change the mounting point for the rear right brake line because I realized that the exhaust was so close that it was starting to melt it 😅.
      Edit: I'm a dumb I just realized you went under it. That's probably why I'm having so many issues. Thanks again!

      No, it has an T2W4 H22 transmission.

      That is a fairly common thing that people do though. They call it an H2B

    What do u charge for something like this

      It's hard to give an exact number. A turnkey build of this level with custom mounts, underbody/suspension restoration, fuse box relocation, etc. Could come in around the 10k labor range. It's highly variable depending on the current state of the car and what extras are desired beyond the engine swap itself.
      However a basic H22 swap - just swapping an already fully-functional running/driving 3rd gen to an H22 using pre-made Prelude Engineering swap parts would be significantly less. Probably around 3k labor.
