Awesome!!! I’ve seen k swaps but this is genius! I love the styling of the RD1’s and I love the green colour (same as mine). I’d say get the colour matched side mirrors and door handles. Noice!!!!!
i miss my j35 6 speed accord, i didn’t know much about j series at the time and burned all my oil away and ran the motor dry, RIP 😢 got a fg4 now but miss cruising down the highway at 80 barely pressing the gas, with the sI i just feel like a little go kart at those speeds
Back in 2012, I knee a guy who was having this swap done in CR-V. Only difference was, he kept it FWD with 6 speed. He was calling his project, the CR-V6.
All 3 videos are great and very detailed. Definitely gained a subscriber. Just out of curiosity... would you consider selling the crv? If so.. I'm interested.
i noticed you never made this build into a playlist. i think that would be a good asset to have on your youtube channel. also, what is your final drive gear ratio.?
congratz man !! this is awesome you build one of my dream ! and tha greeny machine there look awesome you have alot of skillz to do all that ! and what about the harness how did u manage do make all the control works..? does the harness i a manual tl or Auto ? can you show or explain more in detail whats needed to run the engine to the ecu and the vtec of course ! thanks in advancE ! gratz again !
The harness came from the same place as the adapter plate, it's also poorly made. It's just a stock late 90s J harness modified to be universal. pjscustoms.com and go-rpm.com make J swap harnesses.
I’d like part list k trans to j series engine what ecu and wiring? I know you made the mounts and such any info thanks this is awesome been waiting on hasport to make a kit but they haven’t yet say they working on it
I just bought a 2000 crv fwd and pretty much 95% of the underside from 1AAuto, I'm going to make it brand new suspension brakes and steering wise. But I would very much like to do a swap like this or even a k24 awd from the element. How much do you think would cross over with that drive train? I know you had to shorten the DS for the v6.
The Element AWD is the same. Small differences on the transmission case (like speed sensor location). So it's going to require a modified driveshaft as well. If you are trying to reuse the stock CRV subframe then it will need to be clearanced just like I did for this swap. I would check the CRV groups because I think you can use a DC2 subframe for more trans clearance.
This is awesome! Where did you find an AWD 6-speed Honda transmission though? I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what Honda (besides the TL) is AWD and 6 speed.
mind giving me some language to work with as far as making my own 6 speed how did that work with the linkage etc and write ups or anything you would recommend
@@Prelude3g I was just trying to be lazy and see what parts you got. I did alittle research and I have a better understanding now. Thank you very much for your reply sir. 👍✊🏾
I think you would need to use the J series auto trans. I don't know if it would work with the rear diff though, you might need to use the rear diff from the donor vehicle.
dude i really want to watch your videos but my god is your music choice annoying. i have to mute your videos if i want to watch them. maybe turn it way down or have sections of no music OR have a few different songs
Mud from Red Alert 1 as the first song. Guy has good taste in cars and games
Let's Go . I have a spare jswap and maybe here soon a crv shell. Planning on a automatic tho. Keep it coming👍🏼👍🏼
Love this build !!! Keep us updated 💪💪
More power baby. You may have room for a supercharger
and still has the stock stereo head lmao love it
Awesome!!!

Def one of the best AWD Jseries build I’ve seen. That period correct V6 badge is well earned. 🫡
Love it.. I have been imagining this kind of built with J series AWD long ago.
Nice build

Безупречный свап!😎👍
I wanna do this to my 06 CR-V !!
Great stuff Bro! Keep it up!
50% less cams 50% more cylinders
I love this crv
No vibration at higher speed with the driveshaft angle? Why a new element rear diff? Stronger I assume? Always good to see updates on your projects!
No vibration. The Element diff has better/quicker engagement.
What a beauty
Been waiting for this 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

This is sick V6 Crv 4wd

Sorry, not for sale.

Impressive fab work. I bet it's nice to move when you hit the gas 😆

I have some info from the swap here: trello.com/b/yzGrAby5/98-cr-v-j2k-swap
i love this build! great video! I hope to j swap my crv one day!

This is awesome! Where did you find an AWD 6-speed Honda transmission though? I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what Honda (besides the TL) is AWD and 6 speed.
It's a CRV 5-speed trans with a 6th gear added. It's shown in part 1.
did you remove the reverse gear?@@Prelude3g
mind giving me some language to work with as far as making my own 6 speed how did that work with the linkage etc and write ups or anything you would recommend
Awesome job ! thank you for sharing.
How much did it cost you to fabricate customized engine supports and swap to a V6 engine?
I never add up my builds, but it will exceed the "value" of a RD1 CR-V easily.
What axles were used in the front ? I don’t think I heard them mentioned but appeared to be factory in the undershot
It's the stock CR-V right axle installed on the left side and an Element right axle installed in the right.
We need more content
This is what I wanted to do!! Imma need that parts list. Ha
I don't really have a proper parts list, is there something specific you wanted to know about?
@@Prelude3g I was just trying to be lazy and see what parts you got. I did alittle research and I have a better understanding now. Thank you very much for your reply sir. 👍✊🏾
hi what is your wheel and tyre specs?
Love it! I would love to do this on our lifted Rd1... Do you make/sell parts you made in this swap..?
Thanks. I'm not going to be making any of these parts.
What’s the average RPM at 65-75mph in 6th?
Your the man bro
Have you tried stiffer sway bars for the rubbing on corners? What headers did you use?
It's never rubbed since I switched to coilovers. Although a bigger rear sway might have stopped it from rubbing.
I custom made the headers.
Can you help me with aome mounts?
Got any 3rd gen blocks in Washington
Just B21a1 blocks.
What was the total cost for something like this?
I never add up the cost of my builds. But it will exceed the value of the vehicle for sure.
Does the 11 diff directly bolt in?
Yes.
What mileage do you get after the swap?
17-20mpg depending on how I drive it. I'm hoping I can get a bit of an increase when I switch to a standalone ECU.
👌
Hey I have a automatic rd1 4wd I would to do a j series swap which transmission is best
I think you would need to use the J series auto trans. I don't know if it would work with the rear diff though, you might need to use the rear diff from the donor vehicle.
What is the part # for you coilovers sir?
I couldn't find a part number, they are just 500 series coilovers for RD1/RD2 CR-Vs.
what engine
J32
This would be a monster with a turbo
Do you still have this? Would you be willing to sell?
Not for sale, still driving it..
If you ever change your mind, let me know. This things perfect. @Prelude3g
Omg I had crv 2000 had 292000 miles still run good standard wish I can swap machine. Vtec
is it quick?
Wow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Now turbo it
I’m dreaming
