I have very bad boxelder problem on my brick townhouse. I treated them in the fall, sprayed everywhere. They were all clustered under the gutter and around windows and on a bush. I trimmed the bush and sprayed them on the bushes. Still, they've been coming inside all winter, and it probably didn't help that we had a mild winter. It's already warming up and they're coming out again. I'm going to have to treat them once again. Somehow, they're getting in through my windows, even though everything seems to be sealed well. It's never ending where I am. I've also noticed after I spray them with soap, the sparrows love to come and have a feast.
They are resilient buggers. I live in Saskatchewan and they still come out on abnormally warm sunny days to bask on the wall…I guess I always have to keep a spray bottle on the ready! Ha
Ya, probably not necessary for the hot water. Once they were sprayed they were done. But the ones that were hiding would come out and bask in the sun, this was an ongoing process for days lol
True sir, the ones I sprayed immediately were incapacitated. Then the ones that were hiding would come out and say “hi how are ya” then I would repeat the cycle.
Ya, I tend to yap too much at times, but they all died! You just have to keep doing this daily as there is more where they came from. They continue to run and hide, then come out to bask. This is when you spray them.
I have the same problem with this bugs. Thanks for sharing.. new subscriber from Canada.
Ya, they suck. This year has been bad!
Good video
Home defense is Great kills them perfectly and it also protects your house
I will have to try this:)

Right?! How do they get in, can't figure it out
I love my box elder bugs. I take care of a few through winter. They behave very well. Haven't stained anything and are very chill.
I totally understand. We hang out in the garage throughout the winter and work on projects together!
😊
your mixture is wrong. and dont use hot water we just use dawn and cold water and they are dead fast. with in 3o seconds
This.

Cold water yes
I just I se Dawn and cool water. It works pretty well.
Ya, I probably was over thinking it Ha! Cold should be good, I just was pissed off at them and I wanted them to suffer! ha
Will this help with red ant infestation too ?
Not sure, why not try it and let me know:)
Spray and then wait; do not waste time spraying again and again.

You need to turn your water blue with the Dawn
Were they dead or just paralyzed?
😂😂😂
It kills those buggers dead!
DEAD ‼️
God, you said so much and really didn't stick to or put out there the plain truth!

Believe the plague is so bad at my house that I gave up on the soap and got some insect spray. That doesn't get rid of them. Don't waste your soap/
I hear you Sir! Last year was bad!! I have even seen them pop up during winter in the garage...I have to hit them hard whenever I see them!
