What gave you the idea to do this inbetween Joker and the upcoming Matt Reeves the Batman?
Thank you! I had the idea to make this over a year ago when I saw "The Man Who Laughs" trailer and "Ripper: A Batman fan film". I originally planned to use footage of Christian Bale from "The Prestige" for this trailer, but couldn't find enough suitable footage to use. When I started up the project again, Pattinson was cast as Batman and I found the appropriate footage from "Bel Ami" to use him as 19th Century's Bruce Wayne.

I really like the Sherlock vibe. Sorry I'm not familiar with the Gaslight stories but this looks great. My favorite part was that it showed Jeffrey Wright and that you used the song from the Grindelward trailer. SPOT ON!

great job I really liked how you used the man who laughs as the main villian and not Jack the Ripper. You should make a another batman cw trailer that shows him come back meet Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl and he kicks kate kanes but. P.S. I love your Knight takes queen trailer.

Man this was so awesome! I'd rather have this than The Batman 2 with Robert Pattinson. i liked the animated movie except the end was dumb but this is so awesome from start to finish. I wish they'd make this movie instead.

Thanks, bud! I wanted to do something different with the source material since I found The Man Who Laughs (2012) trailer and wanted to use that footage for the 19th century Joker in this project. But as a Easter egg to the source material, I did sneak in Batman with Jack the Ripper in the last shot of the trailer.
